• This product is not intended for medical use. It is intended only to provide a luxurious massage.
• Consult your doctor prior to using this product, if
- You are pregnant - You have a pacemaker - You have any concerns regarding your health
• Not recommended for use by diabetics.
• Never leave the appliance unattended, especially if children are present.
• Never cover the appliance when it is in operation.
• DO NOT use this product for more than 15 minutes at a time.
• Extensive use could lead to the product’s excessive heating and shorter life. Should this occur,
discontinue use and allow the unit to cool before operating.
• NEVER use this product directly on swollen or inflamed areas or skin eruptions.
• DO NOT use this product as a substitute for medical attention.
• DO NOT use this product before bed. The massage has a stimulating eect and can delay
sleep.
• NEVER use this product while in bed.
• This product should NEVER be used by any individual suering from any physical ailment that
would limit the user’s capacity to operate the controls or who has sensory deficiencies in the
lower half of their body.
• NEVER use this product in automobiles.
• This appliance is intended for household use only.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
ADAPTOR INSTRUCTIONS
1. Insert adaptor jack into the plug underneath left handle strap. (Fig. 1)
2. Plug into a AC 240-volt outlet.
3. This unit incorporates a wire frame allowing you to contour the unit to your neck. Place
massager on your neck and mold the wire framing to desired position. (Fig. 2)
4. To activate the massage action, press the power button on the control pad. (Fig. 3)
5. Press once for low speed, a second time for high, and press again to turn the unit o.
6. To activate the heat function, with massage running, press the heat button on the control pad.
(Fig. 3).
7. To turn o the heat function, simply press the heat button again.
NOTE: Heat is a mild, comfortable heat.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN CHILDREN ARE PRESENT, BASIC
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
• ALWAYS unplug the appliance from the electrical outlet immediately after using and before
cleaning.
• Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• ALWAYS place the air cleaner on a firm, level surface.
• ALWAYS place the air cleaner at least 30cm away from walls and 90cm from heat sources such
as stoves, radiators, or heaters.
• DO NOT operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or where oxygen is being
administered.
• DO NOT reach for an appliance that has fallen into water. Unplug it immediately.
• DO NOT place or store appliance where it can fall or be pulled into a tub or sink.
• DO NOT place in or drop into water or other liquid.
• Keep dry - DO NOT operate in a wet or moist condition.
• Check your air cleaner cord and plug connections. Faulty wall outlet connections or loose plugs
can cause the outlet or plug to overheat. Be sure the plug fits tight in the outlet.
• Extreme caution is necessary when any air cleaner is used by or near children or invalids and
whenever the air cleaner is left operating and unattended.
• ALWAYS unplug the air cleaner when not in use.
• DO NOT operate the air cleaner with a damaged cord or plug, or after the air cleaner
malfunctions, has been dropped or damaged in any manner.
• This air cleaner is not intended for use in bathroom, laundry areas and similar moist indoor
locations. NEVER locate air cleaner where it may fall into a bathtub or other water container.
• DO NOT run cord under carpeting. DO NOT cover cord with throw rugs, runners or similar
coverings. DO NOT route cord under furniture or appliances. Arrange cord away from trac
areas where it can be tripped over.
• To disconnect the air cleaner, first turn controls to the OFF position, then remove plug from
outlet.
• DO NOT tilt or move the air cleaner while it is in operation. Shut OFF and remove plug from
outlet before moving.
• DO NOT insert or allow foreign objects to enter any ventilation or exhaust opening as this may
cause an electric shock or fire, or damage the air cleaner.
• To prevent a possible fire, DO NOT block air intakes or exhaust in any manner. DO NOT use on
soft surface, like a bed, where openings may become blocked.
• Use this air cleaner only for its intended use as described in this manual. Any other use not
recommended by the manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• This appliance is not intended for use by young people or infirmed persons unless they are
adequately supervised by a responsible person to ensure that they can use the appliance safely.
• Young children should be supervised to ensure that they DO NOT play with the appliance.

OPTIONAL BATTERY INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE NOTE: BATTERIES WILL ONLY OPERATE THE MASSAGE FUNCTION. YOU MUST USE
THE ADAPTOR TO ACTIVATE THE HEAT FUNCTION.
1. Locate the zipper on the back of the unit.
2. Unzip to expose the battery compartment, remove lid. (Fig. 4)
3. Insert 4 “AA” batteries (not included). Proper battery orientation is noted inside the battery
compartment housing.
4. Replace the cover and zip the back portion back up, making sure both zipper ends are touching
each other to ensure zipper is closed properly.
5. To activate massage, follow steps 4 – 5 from adaptor instructions.
BATTERY PRECAUTIONS
• Use only the size and type of batteries specified.
• When installing batteries, observe proper +/- polarities. Incorrect installation of batteries may cause
damage to the unit.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable (ni-cad, ni-mh, etc.) batteries.
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.
• If the unit is not going to be used for a long period of time, remove batteries to prevent damage
due to possible battery leakage.
• Clean the battery contacts and also those of the device prior to battery installation.
• Remove depleted batteries promptly.
• Dispose of properly in accordance with all state, province and country regulations.
NOTE: THERE IS A 15-MINUTE AUTO SHUT OFF ON THE UNIT FOR YOUR SAFETY. THIS
SHOULD NOT BE CONSIDERED AS A SUBSTITUTE FOR OFF. ALWAYS REMEMBER TO TURN
YOUR UNIT OFF WHEN NOT IN USE.
MAINTENANCE
TO STORE
Place massager in its box or in a safe, dry, cool place. Avoid contact with sharp edges or pointed
objects. To avoid breakage, DO NOT wrap the power cord around the unit. DO NOT hang the unit by
the power cord.
TO CLEAN
• Unplug the unit and allow it to cool before cleaning. Clean only with a soft, slightly damp sponge.
NEVER allow water or any other liquids to come into contact with the unit.
• DO NOT immerse in any liquid to clean.
• Never use abrasive cleaners, brushes, or strong chemicals that might or might not be flammable
and/or damaging to the product to clean.
• DO NOT attempt to repair the massager. There are no user serviceable parts. For service, call the
Consumer Relations telephone number listed in the Warranty Section.

We or us means HoMedics Australia Pty Ltd ACN 31 103 985 717 and our contact details are set out at the end of this warranty;
You means the purchaser or the original end-user of the Goods. You may be a domesc user or a professional user;
Supplier means the authorised distributor or retailer of the Goods that sold you the Goods in Australia and New Zealand; and
Goods means the product or equipment which was accompanied by this warranty and purchased in Australia and New Zealand.
For Australia:
Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entled, subject to the provisions of
the Australian Consumer Law, to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensaon for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or
damage. You are also entled, subject to the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law, to have the Goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail
to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. This is not a complete statement of your legal rights as a consumer.
For New Zealand:
Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. This guarantee applies in addion to the
condions and guarantees implied by that legislaon.
The Warranty
HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship under normal use and service. In the
unlikely event that your HoMedics product proves to be faulty within 1 year from the date of purchase due to workmanship or materials only,
we will replace it at our own expense, subject to the terms and condions of this guarantee. The warranty period is limited to 3 months from the
date of purchase for products used commercially/professionally.
Terms and Condions:
In addion to the rights and remedies that you have under the Australian Consumer Law, Consumer Guarantees Act of New Zealand or any
other applicable law and without excluding such rights and remedies warranty against defects:
1. The Goods are designed to withstand the rigors of normal household use and are manufactured to the highest standards using the highest
quality components. Whilst unlikely, if, during the rst 12 months (3 months commercial use) from their date of purchase from the Supplier
(Warranty Period), the Goods prove defecve by reason of improper workmanship or materials and none of your statutory rights or
remedies apply, we will replace the Goods, subject to the terms and condions of this warranty.
2. We do not have to replace the Goods under this Addional Warranty if the Goods have been damaged due to misuse or abuse, accident,
the aachment of any unauthorised accessory, alteraon to the product, improper installaon, unauthorised repairs or modicaons,
improper use of electrical/power supply, loss of power, malfuncon or damage of an operang part from failure to provide manufacturer’s
recommended maintenance, transportaon damage, the, neglect, vandalism, environmental condions or any other condions
whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.
3. This Warranty does not extend to the purchase of used, repaired or second-hand products or to products not imported or supplied by
HoMedics Australia Pty Ltd, including but not limited to those sold on oshore internet aucon sites.
4. This Warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Suppliers.
5. Even when we do not have to replace the Goods, we may decide to do so anyway. In some cases, we may decide to substute the Goods
with a similar alternave product of our choosing. All such decisions are at our absolute discreon.
6. All such replaced or substuted Goods connue to receive the benet of this Addional Warranty for the me remaining on the original
Warranty Period (or three months, whichever is the longest).
7. This Addional Warranty does not cover items damaged by normal wear and tear including but not limited to chips, scratches, abrasions,
discolouraon and other minor defects, where the damage has negligible eect on the operaon or performance of the Goods.
8. This Addional Warranty is limited to replacement or substuon only. As far as the law permits, we will not be liable for any loss or damage
caused to property or persons arising from any cause whatsoever and shall have no liability for any incidental, consequenal or special
damages.
9. This warranty is only valid and enforceable in Australia and New Zealand.
Making a Claim:
In order to claim under this Warranty you must return the Goods to the Supplier (place of purchase) for replacement. If this is not possible,
please contact our customer service department at the address below.
• All returned Goods must be accompanied by sasfactory proof of purchase which clearly indicates the name and address of the Supplier,
the date and place of purchase and idenes product. It is best to provide an original, legible and unmodied receipt or sales invoice.
• You must bear any expense for return of the Goods or otherwise associated with making your claim under this Addional Warranty.
