Safeguards and Warnings
Read and Follow All Safeguards
The SteamMachine Plus Steam Mop is safe when
properly used, but can be dangerous if misused.
It is the responsibility of the user to read and
understand all instructions, IMPORTANT
SAFEGUARDS, and safety precautions before
operating the unit and to use the unit properly.
Failure to do so may result in product damage,
personal injury or loss of life.
DO NOT try to repair (or disassemble) the unit
yourself. Repairs should be performed by a
qualified technician familiar with this unit or
returned to HomeRight (see warranty). This unit
is to be used with authorized parts only. The user
assumes all risks and liabilities when operating
the unit with parts that do not comply with the
manufacturer’s specifications.
•Warnings
• DO NOT operate the unit without water in the
tank.
• DO NOT fill the water tank with any fluid
other than water. Other cleaning agents could
damage unit or cause injury.
• DO NOT immerse the corded Handheld Unit
in water.
• DO NOT allow machine to run unattended at
any time.
• DO NOT direct steam at people, animals or
electrical devices.
• DO NOT touch main nozzle or attempt to
connect attachments while unit is in use.
• DO NOT use unit in an enclosed space filled
with explosive or toxic vapors.
• DO NOT touch bottom of mop head or
attempt to attach a microfiber pad while unit
is in use.
• DO NOT operate with a damaged cord. If the
power cord is damaged it should be repaired
by a qualified electrician.
• DO NOT pull or carry the SteamMacine Plus
by its cord.
• DO NOT unplug by pulling on cord. Always
grasp the plug, not the cord.
• DO NOT expose machine to rain or freezing
temperatures.
• NEVER operate without the water tank cap
screwed tightly in place.
• NEVER use this machine to clean electronic
devices.
• NEVER leave mop in one spot on any surface
for more than a few seconds – prolonged
exposure to heat and moisture may damage
floor surfaces.
• ALWAYS unplug unit when not in use.
• ALWAYS turn unit off before unplugging
from outlets.
• ALWAYS turn unit off and unplug power cord
before filling water reservoir.
• ALWAYS allow the unit to completely cool
(at least 30 minutes) before storing.
Servicing a Double-Insulated
Product
In a double-insulated product, two systems of
insulation are provided instead of grounding.
No grounding means is provided on a double
insulated product, nor should a means of
grounding be added to the product. Servicing of
a double-insulated product requires extreme care
and knowledge of the system and should only be
done by qualified service personnel.
Replacement parts for a double-insulated
product must be identical to those parts in
theproduct.
•Caution
Cleaning Fabrics:
A number of materials and fabrics are NOT
suitable to be cleaned by steam:
DO NOT use on leather, wax polished furniture
or floors, synthetic fabrics, velvet, Dralon or other
delicate, steam sensitive materials.
When steaming any surface for the first
time, it is recommended that you consult the
manufacturer’s guidelines for cleaning.
Unsealed Hard Floor Surfaces
DO NOT use on any unsealed hard floor
surfaces. DO NOT use on surfaces that have
been treated with wax, since the sheen may
be removed by the heat. It is recommended
to test an isolated area of the surface before
proceeding. Check the use and care instruction
from the floor manufacturer.

Safeguards and Warnings
•Caution
Cleaning Glass/Mirrors:
Thermal shock can shatter glass. DO NOT
apply steam to glass surfaces that are cooler
than 32°F.
Electrical Connections
• DO NOT hold cord at plug connections to
support cord. Failure to observe may result in
electrical shock.
• To prevent electrical shock, NEVER immerse
the SteamMachine Plus into water or other
liquids.
Prop 65 Warning
Handling the coated electrical wires of this
product exposes you to lead, a chemical known
to the State of California to cause birth defects or
other reproductive harm. Wash hands after use.
Extension Cords
Make sure your extension cord is UL/ETL/CSA
listed and is in goodcondition. When using an
extension cord, be sure to use one heavy enough
for the current - for lengths less than 18 feet,
usea No. 18 AWG. or heavier; for lengths more
than 18 feet, useNo. 16 AWG. If in doubt, use
a heavier gauge. Anundersized cord will cause
a drop in line voltage resulting in loss of power
andoverheating.
Storage
Make sure unit is clean and dry before storing.
Store in a dry location. To prevent damage,
the electrical cord should not be crimped during
storage.

Steam Mop Assembly
Mop Handle
Rotate the handle to the upright
position. You will hear the
handle click into the locked
position. (Figure A)
Mop Head
Rotate the mop head connector
into the upright locked position.
(Figure B)
Gently slide the mop handle
onto the mop head connector.
(Figure C)
Attaching the
Cleaning Pad
Place the Cleaning Pad on the
bottom of the mop head. The
pad will adhere with the hook
and loop attachment. (Figure D)
Attaching the
Carpet Glider
NOTE: Do not use the Carpet
Glider on hard surfaces, for use
on carpets only.
Align the glider with the bottom
of mop head. Place the mop
head into the glider, gently
snap each side into place by
pressing on the top of the mop
head with your fingers and
bottom of the carpet glider with
your thumb. (Figure E)

Steam Mop Operation
•Caution
Always wear shoes when
using your steam mop. The
steam emitted from the mop
is hot and may burn if direct
contact with skin occurs.
NOTE: Sweep or vacuum floors
prior to using your steam mop.
Filling the Water Tank
Locate the water tank on
the front of the steam mop.
Depress the side grips to
release the tank from the mop
handle. Remove tank. (Figure F)
Turn water tank cap counter-
clockwise 45°. Push lever up
with thumbs to release.

Fill tank with tap or distilled
water. Replace water cap and
twist clockwise until tightly
secure. (Figure H)
Gently slide water tank into
place. You will hear a click once
the tank is secure.
Steam Generation
Plug the steam mop into a
grounded outlet.
Push the ON/OFF button.
(Figure I)
The red indicator lights in
the water tank will illuminate
during the heating process.
This should take approximately
25 seconds.
The steam mop is ready to use
when the blue indicator lights in
the water tank are illuminated.
The water tank will need to be
refilled when the red indicator
lights begin flashing.
Depress steam trigger on
handle to release the steam.
(Figure J)
NOTE: Always turn the unit off
(Push the ON/OFF button, the
lights will go out) and unplug
before refilling.

Handheld Steamer Operation
Steam Volume Control
The Steam Volume Control knob is located just below the water
tank. (Figure K)
Counterclockwise – less steam
Clockwise – more steam
Begin with the least amount of steam and adjust upwards as
necessary.
NOTE: It will take the steam mop 3 seconds to respond to a new
volume setting.
Attaching the Accessories to the
Handheld Steamer
Use the straight adaptor to attach all accessories to the
Handheld Unit.
Firmly slide the adaptor into the receptacle.
NOTE: If it is difficult to slide the adaptor into place, the O-rings
on the outside of steam nozzle, located on the Handheld Unit
receptacle, may need to be lubricated with petroleum jelly. (Figure O)
Select the appropriate cleaning accessory. Line up the arrows on
both the accessory and the adaptor; firmly slide the adaptor into
place. Twist the accessory clockwise 45° to lock into place.

Follow the instructions above for filling the tank. (Figure H)
NOTE: When using the Handheld Unit, make sure the power cord is
NOT wrapped around the cord holders on the handle.
Remove the Handheld Unit from the frame by sliding the steamer
release button up. (Figure L) Lift the Handheld Unit off the frame.

Attaching the Accessories to the
Handheld Steamer (cont.)
Plug the handheld unit into a grounded outlet.
Push the ON/OFF button. (Figure N)
The red indicator lights in the water tank will illuminate during the
heating process. This should take approximately 25 seconds.
The Handheld Steamer is ready to use when the blue indicator
lights in the water tank are illuminated.
Cleaning and Storage
IMPORTANT: Allow the steamer to fully cool down to room
temperature before storing (approximately 30 minutes).
Remove water tank and empty water from the tank. Wipe the tank
with a dry cloth and return to case.
While the unit is plugged in, with the storage tank removed, press
either the Steam Button on the Handheld Unit or Steam trigger
on the mop unit. This will exhaust any steam/water left in the unit
between the tank and exhaust.
In order to unlock steam handle from upright position, place a
foot on the back of the steam mop and gently pull the handle
towards you.
Remove the microfiber cleaning pad. Wash in warm water with a
mild detergent, lay flat to dry.
Wash the Handheld Steamer Accessories in warm soapy water.
Store unit at room temperature in a dry location.
NOTE: The O Rings located on the end of the straight adaptor,
on the steam nozzle and on the water tank cap can become stiff.
Lubricate with petroleum jelly. (Figure O)
Scale and Lime Buildup
If you see signs of lime and scale buildup, it is recommended to fill
the tank with vinegar, heat unit and run the vinegar solution through
the Handheld Steamer.

Troubleshooting

Reduced Steam
or No Steam
Water tank may be empty Fill the water tank with tap or distilled water.
Steam nozzle may be blocked Locate steam nozzle at the bottom of the
handheld unit. Use a toothpick to make sure hole
is free of debris.
There is no power to the unit Plug cord into a grounded, working circuit.
Did not press steam button/trigger Press the ON/OFF button on the steam unit.
Steam Control Knob set to

Turn the steam control knob clockwise to
generate more steam.

HomeRight®warrants this product for two years from the date of purchase, when this unit is maintained and operated according to
the instructions in the Instruction Manual, from any defects in material or workmanship. HomeRight will repair or replace defective
product at no charge and return postage-paid to you. This warranty does not cover accessories or damage resulting from improper
use, negligence, accidents or normal wear and tear.
Any implied warranty or merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose is limited to two years following date of purchase.
Responsibility is limited to the repair or replacement for defects in material or workmanship. HomeRight shall not in any event be
liable for any incidental or consequential damages of any kind, whether for breach of this warranty or any other reason.
