IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read through all the instructions before starting to use the
fan heater. Keep this instruction manual in a safe place for
future reference.
1. Supervision is necessary when the fan heater is used in
the vicinity of children.
2. Do not use the fan heater outdoors.
3. The fan heater must only be used after it has been moun-
ted according to this instruction manual. Mount the fan hea-
ter vertically on a straight wall: Be sure to observe the speci-
fied safety distances as shown in Fig. 1 and 2, and also
observe your local safety regulations. Do not mount the fan
heater on combustible or instable surfaces (e.g. wood or
plastic surfaces) or under the ceiling. Fire hazard!
4. Unwind the power cord completely. An incompletely
unwound power cord can lead to overheating and cause a
fire. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands. Make
sure that there are no objects are resting on the power
cord or could come into contact with hot parts. Position
the power cord where nobody can trip over it and where
the power socket is easily accessible.
5. Do not use an extension cord, a multiway connector or
an infinitely variable speed controller. These can lead to
overheating, fire or electric shock.
6. Connect the fan heater only to a single-phase socket
with the supply voltage as stated on the type plate of the
appliance. The fan heater is equipped with double electric
insulation (Class II) and does not have to be earthed.*
7. Always switch the fan heater off with the rotary thermo-
stat switch (2) and always disconnect the power plug (8)
from the power socket when the fan heater is not in use.
Allow the fan heater to cool off for at least 20 minutes
before it is moved, handled or cleaned. Do not tug at the
power cord to disconnect the plug. Handle the fan heater
only with dry hands. Do not leave the fan heater unatten-
ded when it is running.*
8. Do not use the fan heater anywhere near inflammable
gases or substances such as solvents, lacquers, glues etc.
9. Do not mount the fan heater immediately under a power
socket.
10. Do not mount and use the fan heater in close proxi-
mity to a bathtub, a shower or a swimming-pool (Fig. 1).
11. Do not use the fan heater in any kind of vehicle (e.g.
portacabin, lift, elevator, motor vehicle, cubicle) or similar
enclosed space.
12. Caution: The air outlet vent (7) of the fan heater gets
very hot during use. Inflammable materials such as cus-
hions, pillows, duvets, blankets, furniture, paper, curtains,
drapes and clothing must be kept at least 100 cm distance
from the fan heater (Fig. 2).
13. Keep the fan heater clean. Make sure that the air intake
vent (6) and air outlet vent (7) are open before starting to
use the fan heater. Do not allow objects to get into the air
intake vent (6) or air outlet vent (7). Do not cover up the
fan heater (( ) symbol on the side of the fan heater) This
can lead to overheating, fire or electric shock.
14. Do not dip the fan heater in water or any other liquids
and do not pour water or any other liquids over the appli-
ance or into the air intake vent (6) or air outlet vent (7).
15. The fan heater is equipped with protection against
water, Grade IPX4. This facilitates use in a bathroom or a
damp environment. However, installation inside a bath or
shower cell is not possible. The safety distances shown in
Fig. 1 must be strictly observed. The rotary switch must
not be accessible to persons using the bathtub or shower.
16. Clean the fan heater regularly by following the cleaning
instructions.
17. The fan heater must only be used according to the
instructions in this instruction manual. Non-observance of
these instructions can result in injuries, fire, electric shock
or defects in the appliance.
18. The fan heater is intended exclusively for private use
indoors. It is not suitable for commercial use.
19. If the power cable of the fan heater is damaged it must
be replaced by the manufacturer or by a repair shop
approved by the manufacturer, or by similarly qualified
persons, so as to avoid damage.
20. Do not use this fan heater if it is damaged or shows
signs of damage, or if it has fallen down or is not functioning
correctly. Disconnect the power plug from the power socket.

FIRST TIME OF USE
1. Read through all the instructions before starting to use
the fan heater.
2. Unpack the fan heater and the power cord. Remove all
packaging materials and dispose of them for recycling.
3. Before starting to use the fan heater, mount it according
to the instructions for „wall mounting“.
WALL MOUNTING
1. Mount the fan heater vertically on a straight wall. Strict-
ly observe the safety distances shown in Fig. 1 and 2. Also
comply with your local safety regulations. Do not mount
the fan heater on a combustible or instable surface (e.g.
wood or plastic) or under the ceiling. Fire hazard!
2. Drill 3 holes of 6mm diameter, spaced as shown in Fig. 3.
3. Insert the 3 plugs into the holes. Screw the two upper
screws in. 8mm of the screw heads must stick out of the
wall (Fig. 4).
4. Hook the fan heater firmly onto the two screw heads by
exactly matching the indents at the rear of the fan heater to
the screws. Before letting go of the appliance, make sure
that the fan heater is hooked firmly onto the two screws so
that it cannot fall off.
5. Fix the fan heater to the wall with the lower screw. The
fan heater must be fixed so securely that it cannot be
moved (Fig. 5) and cannot become loose and fall off.
6. Check that the fan heater is mounted securely and can-
not fall off.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
BH-888E –Rotary thermostat switch
1. Make sure that the rotary thermostat switch (2) is in its
lowest position ( ) (3). Insert the power plug into the power
socket. Do not touch the power cord with wet hands.*
2. Make sure that the air intake vent (6) and air outlet vent
(7) are not covered up and that no objects have managed to
get into them. The air intake vent (6) and air outlet vent (7)
must always be free when the appliance is in use.
3. Turn the rotary thermostat switch (2) to its highest
position (4). The power control lamp lights up. (1). The fan
heater is now operating with an output of 2000 W.
4. When the desired room temperature has been reached,
turn the rotary thermostat switch (2) anticlockwise until
you hear it “click”. The fan heater now switches off. The
power control lamp (1) goes off.
5. Now turn the rotary thermostat switch (6) slightly in a
clockwise direction. The fan heater will now automatically
switch the heating on and off to maintain the desired room
temperature. The power control lamp (1) switches on and
off correspondingly.
6. The further you turn the rotary thermostat switch in a
clockwise direction, the hotter the room temperature will
get. The highest position equals a room temperature of
approx. 30 °C. The lowest position ( ) (3) equals a room
temperature of approx. 5 to 8 °C.
7. It is normal for the thermostat not to switch on when
the room temperature is higher than 30 °C.
8. If the room temperature is lower than 5°- 8°C, the fan
heater will continue heating until the room temperature
has risen to more than 5°- 8 °C.
9. When the rotary thermostat switch (2) is in the highest
position (4), you can not turn it any further in a clockwise
direction, only anticlockwise.
10. Before handling, moving or cleaning the fan heater,
turn the rotary thermostat switch (2) to its lowest position
(3), disconnect the power plug from the power socket and
allow the fan heater to cool for at least 20 minutes.*
BH-999E –Rotary thermostat switch and 60 Minute Timer
Thermostat only
1. If you only wish to use the fan heater with the rotary
thermostat switch (2), please follow the instructions under
BH-888E –Rotary thermostat switch. The fan heater ope-
rates with an output of 1200 W.
Thermostat and Timer
1. Turn the rotary thermostat switch (2) to the desired
room temperature. For this, please observe the instruc-
tions under BH-888E: rotary thermostat switch.
2. Set the 60 minute timer to the desired period of use. For
the set time period the fan heater operates with an output
of 2000 W and heats the room really fast.
3. As soon as the set time has run out, the fan heater con-
tinues to operate with an output of 1200 W and maintains
the room temperature selected via the rotary thermostat
switch (2).
4. Before handling, moving or cleaning the fan heater, turn
the rotary thermostat switch (2) to its lowest position ( )
(3) and disconnect the power plug from the power socket.
Overheating protection
1. The fan heater is equipped with overheating protection
which switches the fan heater off automatically if it over-
heats. When the overheating protection is activated, the
appliance does not operate even though the power control
lamp lights up.*
2. Turn the rotary thermostat switch (2) to its lowest posi-
tion ( ) (3) and disconnect the power plug from the
power socket.

3. Allow the fan heater to cool for at least 20 minutes.
4. Remove any objects which might have got into the air
intake vent (6) or air outlet vent (7), or clean the openings
which have caused the faulty running with a vacuum clea-
ner or have caused overheating. If you can see that a lot
of dust has accumulated inside the fan heater, please
get appliance cleaned at a service centre.
5. Resume using the fan heater as described in the “user
instructions”.
CLEANING, MAINTENANCE, DISPOSAL
We recommend you to clean the fan heater regularly. Plea-
se follow the instructions for cleaning and maintenance so
as to avoid impairing the functioning of the appliance.
Cleaning
1. Before you start cleaning the appliance, turn the rotary
thermostat switch (2) to its lowest position ( ) (3) and
disconnect the power plug from the power socket. Allow
the fan heater to cool for at least 20 minutes.*
2. To remove dust from the motor and heating element,
clean the air intake vent (6) and air outlet vent (7) with a
vacuum cleaner.
3. Pull the air filter (11) out of its holder and clean it with
the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner. If it is very
soiled, you can use a household washing-up liquid and
clean the air filter (11) in lukewarm water at a maximum
temperature of 40°C. The air filter (11) should then be rin-
sed several times in warm water. Allow it to dry thoroughly
before you replace it in the fan heater (Fig. 6). You can
push the air filter into its holder from both the right and
left side.
If you use the fan heater regularly, we recommend you to
control and clean the air filter at least once a month. Other-
wise the fan heater could overheat.
4. Clean the outer surfaces of the fan heater with a soft,
damp cloth.
5. Resume using the fan heater as described in “wall
mounting”and the “user instructions”.
Maintenance
1. The fan heater needs no special maintenance, but it
should be serviced at least twice a year.
2. If the fan heater has to be repaired, be sure to contact
an authorized service centre.
Disposal
This symbol on the product or its packaging indicates that
the appliance cannot be treated as normal domestic trash,
but must be handed in at a collection point for recycling
electric and electronic appliances.
Your contribution to the correct disposal of this product
protects the environment and the health of your fellow
men. Health and the environment are endangered by incor-
rect disposal.
Further information about the recycling of this product can
be obtained from your local town hall, your refuse collec-
tion service, or in the store at which you bought the pro-
duct.
This regulation is valid only in EU member states.

1. Man måste hålla uppsikt, om värmefläkten ska använ-
das i närheten av barn.
2. Använd inte värmefläkten utomhus.
3. Använd värmefläkten endast om den installerats och
monterats enligt denna bruksanvisning. Montera värme-
fläkten lodrätt påen plan vägg. Håll ovillkorligen de föres-
krivna säkerhetsavstånden som visas i fig. 1 och 2, och följ
säkerhetsföreskrifterna i det aktuella landet. Montera inte
värmefläkten påbrännbara eller ostabila ytor (t.ex. trä- och
plastytor) eller under taket. Risk för brand!
4. Linda av nätkabeln helt. En inte helt avlindad kabel kan
medföra överhettning och orsaka brand. Ta inte i nätka-
beln med våta händer. Se till att det inte finns några före-
mål pånätkabeln, och lägg den såatt den inte kommer i
kontakt med heta ytor. Dra nätkabeln såatt man inte sna-
var påden, och såatt stickkontakten är lätt åtkomlig.
5. Använd inte förlängningskabel, kontaktlist eller steglösa
hastighetsregulatorer. Detta kan medföra överhettning,
brand eller strömstötar.
6. Anslut värmefläkten endast till ett enfasigt eluttag med
den nätspänning som anges påtypskylten. Värmefläkten
har dubbel elisolering (klass II) och behöver därför inte
jordas.
7. Frånkoppla alltid värmefläkten med vridströmbrytaren
(2) och dra alltid ut nätkontakten (8) ur eluttaget, när vär-
mefläkten inte ska användas. Låt fläkten svalna minst 20
minuter, innan du flyttar den, tar tag i den eller rengör den.
Dra inte i nätkabeln när du ska dra ut stickkontakten. Fatta
tag i värmefläkten endast med torra händer. Lämna inte
värmefläkten utan tillsyn, när den är i drift.
8. Använd inte värmefläkten i närheten av lättantändliga
gaser eller ämnen som lösningsmedel, lacker, klister mm.
9. Montera inte värmefläkten direkt under ett eluttag.
10. Montera och använd inte värmefläkten i omedelbar
närhet av badkar, duschar eller simbassänger (figur 1).
11. Använd inte värmefläkten i fordon (t.ex. byggvagnar,
hissar, campingvagnar, motorfordon, hytter) och andra
slutna utrymmen.
12. OBS! Värmefläktens utloppsöppning (7) blir mycket
het under drift. Brännbara material, som kuddar, sängklä-
der, möbler, papper, gardiner, kläder måste vara påminst
100 cm avstånd från värmefläkten (fig. 2).
13. Håll värmefläkten ren. Se till att luftinlopps- (6) och
–utloppsöppningarna (7) är öppna innan värmefläkten tas i
drift. Inga föremål får finnas i luftinlopps- (6) och –utlopp-
söppningarna (7). Täck inte över värmefläkten (Symbol
( ) påvärmefläktens sida). Detta kan medföra överhett-
ning, brand eller strömstötar.
14. Doppa inte värmefläkten i vatten eller andra vätskor,
och häll inte vatten eller andra vätskor över apparaten eller
i luftinloppsöppningen (6) eller –utloppsöppningen (7).
15. Värmefläkten har ett skydd mot vatten av grad IPX4.
Därför kan den användas i badrum och i våtutrymmen. Den
får dock inte installeras inne i badkars- eller duschkabiner.
Säkerhetsavstånden enligt figur 1 måste ovillkorligen hål-
las. Vridströmbrytarna får absolut inte vara åtkomliga för
personer, som befinner sig i badkaret eller i duschen.
16. Rengör värmefläkten regelbundet, och följ anvisnin-
garna för rengöring.
17. Värmefläkten får endast användas enligt anvisningarna
i denna bruksanvisning. Om du inte följer dessa anvisnin-
gar kan du riskera kroppsskada, brand eller strömstötar.
18. Värmefläkten är endast avsedd för privat användning
inomhus, och inte för industriellt bruk.
19. Om värmefläktens nätkabel är skadad, måste den
bytas av tillverkaren eller i en av tillverkaren auktoriserad
verkstad, eller av personer med samma kvalifikation, för
undvikande av skador.
20. Starta inte denna värmefläkt om den är skadad, fallit ner
eller inte fungerar normalt. Dra ut nätkabeln ur eluttaget.

FÖRSTA IDRIFTTAGNING
1. Läs alla anvisningar innan du startar värmefläkten för
första gången.
2. Packa upp värmefläkten och nätkabeln, ta bort allt för-
packningsmaterial, och bortskaffa detta påett miljövänligt
sätt.
3. Montera värmefläkten enligt anvisningarna i "Väggmon-
tering", innan du tar den i drift.

VÄGGMONTERING
1. Montera värmefläkten lodrätt påen plan vägg. Håll ovill-
korligen de föreskrivna säkerhetsavstånden som visas i fig.
1 och 2, och följ säkerhetsföreskrifterna i det aktuella landet.
Montera inte värmefläkten påbrännbara eller ostabila ytor
(t.ex. trä- och plastytor) eller under taket. Risk för brand!
2. Borra tre hål med 6 mm diameter, med avstånd enligt
figur 3.
3. Stick in de tre pluggarna i hålen. Skruva i de båda övre
skruvarna. Skruvhuvudena ska sticka ut 8 mm ur väggen
(figur 4).
4. Häng värmefläkten stadigt påskruvarna, och rikta in
ursparningarna påvärmefläktens baksida exakt mot skru-
varna. Kontrollera innan du släpper taget om apparaten att
värmefläkten hänger säkert påde båda skruvarna och inte
kan falla ner.
5. Säkra värmefläkten mot väggen med den undre skru-
ven. Värmefläkten måste monteras såfast, att den inte kan
rubbas (figur 5), och inte kan lossna och falla ner.
6. Se till att värmefläkten är stadigt monterad och inte kan
falla ner.
BRUKSANVISNING
BH-888E –Vridströmbrytare med termostat
1. Kontrollera att vridströmbrytaren (2) står i sitt nedersta
läge ( ) (3). Stick in kontakten i vägguttaget. Ta inte i
nätkabeln med våta händer.
2. Se till att luftinlopps- (6) och –utloppsöppningarna (7)
inte är övertäckta, och att det inte finns några föremål i
dem. Luftinlopps- (6) och –utloppsöppningen (7) måste
alltid vara fria under drift.
3. Ställ sedan vridströmbrytaren (2) pådet högsta läget
(4). Driftskontrollampan (1) tänds. Värmefläkten har en
effekt på2000 W.
4. När du uppnått önskad rumstemperatur, vrider du ström-
brytaren (2) moturs, tills det hörs ett klickljud. Nu frånkop-
plas värmefläkten. Driftskontrollampan (1) slocknar.
5. Vrid nu termostatvridomkopplaren (2) ”något litet”
medurs igen. Värmefläkten kommer nu att automatiskt till-
och frånkoppla uppvärmningsdriften, och hålla önskad
rumstemperatur. Vid motsvarande tidpunkter tänds och
släcks driftkontrollampan (1).
6. Ju längre du vrider termoststvridomkopplaren medurs,
desto högre blir rumstemperaturen. Det högsta läget
motsvarar en rumstemperatur påca 30 °C. Det lägsta läget
( ) (3) motsvarar en rumstemperatur påca 5 till 8 °C.
7. Det är normalt att termostaten inte kopplar påvärme-
fläkten vid högre temperatur än 30 °C.
8. Om rumstemperaturen är lägre än 5 - 8 °C, kommer
värmefläkten att värma luften tills rumstemperaturen stigit
över 5 till 8 °C.
9. När vridströmbrytaren (2) står i läge MAX (4), kan du
inte vrida den medurs längre, utan endast tillbaka moturs.
10. Innan du fattar tag i värmefläkten, flyttar eller tar bort
den, måste du ställa vridströmbrytaren (2) pådet lägsta
läget ( ) (3), dra ut stickkontakten ur vägguttaget, och
låta värmefläkten svalna under minst 20 minuter.
BH-999E –Vridströmbrytare med termostat och tidur 60
minuter
Endast termostat
1. Om du vill starta värmefläkten med endast vridström-
brytaren (2), följer du anvisningarna enligt BH-888E –
Vridströmbrytare med termostat. Värmefläkten har en
effekt på1200 W.
Termostat och tidur
1. Ställ vridströmbrytaren (2) påönskad rumstemperatur.
Följ härvid anvisningarna enligt BH-888E –Vridströmbry-
tare med termostat.
2. Ställ 60 min-tiduret påönskad drifttid. Under den
inställda drifttiden arbetar värmefläkten med 2000 W
effekt, och värmer snabbt upp rummet.
3. När tiden gått ut arbetar värmefläkten med 1200 W
effekt, och uppehåller via vridströmbrytaren (2) den valda
rumstemperaturen.
4. Innan du fattar tag i värmefläkten, flyttar eller rengör
den, måste du ställa vridströmbrytaren (2) i det lägsta
läget ( ) (3) och dra ut stickkontakten ur vägguttaget.
Överhettningsskydd
1. Värmefläkten är försedd med ett överhettningsskydd,
som automatiskt stänger av värmefläkten vid överhettning.
Om överhettningsskyddet aktiverats, arbetar inte appara-
ten, driftskontrollampan tänds dock.
2. Ställ vridströmbrytaren (2) pådet lägsta läget ( ) (3)
och dra ut stickkontakten ur vägguttaget.
3. Låt sedan värmefläkten svalna under minst 20 minuter.
4. Ta nu bort eventuella föremål i eller framför luftinlopps-
(6) och –utloppsöppningarna (7), eller rengör de öppnin-
gar som orsakat felaktig drift eller överhettning med en
dammsugare. Rengör luftfiltret. Om det dessutom finns
mycket damm inne i värmefläkten måste denna rengöras
i en serviceverkstad.
5. Starta värmefläkten igen, såsom beskrivs i "Bruksanvis-
ning".

RENGÖRING, UNDERHÅLL OCH HANTERING SOM
AVFALL
Vi rekommenderar att du regelbundet rengör värmefläkten.
För att inte värmefläktens funktion ska försämras, bör du
följa anvisningarna för rengöring och underhåll.
Rengöring
1. Innan du börjar med rengöringen måste du ställa vrid-
strömbrytaren (2) pådet lägsta läget ( ) (3) och dra ut
stickkontakten ur vägguttaget. Låt sedan värmefläkten
svalna under minst 30 minuter.
2. Rengör luftinlopps- (6) och –utloppsöppningarna (7)
med en dammsugare, för att fåbort dammet från motorn
och värmeelementet.
3. Dra ut luftfiltret (11) ur dess fäste, och rengör det med
borstmunstycket till din dammsugare. Vid svår nersmuts-
ning kan du använda ett vanligt sköljmedel, och lägga luft-
filtret (11) i ljumt vatten med en maxtemperatur på40°C.
Spola sedan ur luftfiltret (11) flera gånger med varmt vat-
ten. Låt filtret torka helt, innan du sätter tillbaka det i vär-
mefläkten (figur 6). Du kan skjuta in luftfiltret i sitt fäste
från höger eller vänster.
Om du använder värmefläkten regelbundet, rekommende-
rar vi att du kontrollerar och rengör luftfiltret minst en
gång i månaden. Annars kan värmefläkten bli överhettad.
4. Rengör värmefläkten utvändigt med en mjuk och fuktig
lapp.
5. Starta värmefläkten igen, såsom beskrivs i "Väggmon-
tering" och i "Bruksanvisning".
Underhåll
1. Värmefläkten behöver inte särskilt mycket underhåll,
dock minst tvågånger om året.
2. Om värmefläkten måste repareras, bör du alltid kontakta
en auktoriserad fackman.
Hantering som avfall
Denna symbol påprodukten eller dess förpackning visar
att denna produkt inte får hanteras som vanligt hushållsav-
fall, utan ska lämnas påen miljöstation för återvinning av
elektriska eller elektroniska apparater.
Genom ditt bidrag till korrekt avfallshantering skyddar du
miljön, och människors hälsa. Felaktig hantering utgör en
miljö- och hälsorisk.
Hos din kommun, renhållningsverket eller den affär där du
köpt denna produkt, kan du fåmera information om åter-
vinningen av denna produkt.
Dessa föreskrifter gäller endast för EU:s medlemsstater.
KÖPVILLKOR
Köparen övertar som köpvillkor ansvaret för användning
pårätt sätt och skötsel av denna KAZ-produkt enligt denna
bruksanvisning. Köparen och användaren måste själv
bedöma, när och hur länge han bör använda denna KAZ-
produkt.
