Safety of electricity
The installation and operation of the PTZ should be handled in conformity with the local
electric safety requirement;
Do not operate the PTZ with power in case of damages to the PTZ caused by operational
errors.
Our company would not be responsible for fire or electric shock caused by inappropriate
installation or operational errors.
Safety of transportation
Ensure to protect the product from hit, violent vibration and liquid erosion in the process of
transportation, storage or installation.
Environment
Do not install the PTZ in the environment of extreme temperature, exposed to dust, or with
violent vibration.
Do not use the PTZ in the environment where the temperature, humidity or voltage is out of
the specified range.
Ensure that the PTZ is far away from heat objects or heat sources and that the environment
is well ventilated.
Ensure the PTZ is appropriately placed on a balanced level surface or on a rack.
Do not put anything on top of the PTZ

HEIPTZ-2201W-IR 1080p HD Network Explosion-proof PTZ Camera with IR LED

Specification for apparatus
The enclosure of PTZ adopts all stainless steel structure with the protection class of up
to IP68 (2m/1h). It is applicable to hazardous places classified as Zone 1 or Zone 2 that
are exposed to explosive gas mixtures of Group ⅡA , GroupⅡB or GroupⅡC with
temperature group from T1 to T6. It can also be used in hazardous places classified as
Zone 21 or Zone 22 that are exposed to combustible dusts, explosive gases or both.

2.Product Introduction
This section introduces the product’s features, specifications, panel keys and interface.
Features
360°continuous pan rotation with no obstruction.
Tilt range of -90 to 90°.
Pan speed (manual) from 0.01°to 30°per second.
Tilt speed (manual) from 0.01°to 30°per second.
256 preset positions（the position of the PTZ locked can be randomly set and changed
by users）
2 cruise modes for preset position.
Preset speed of up to 30°per second, with the accuracy of ±0.2°.
Power supply: AC24V±25%／4A.
Simple installation interface.
Protection class of IP68 (2m/1h).
Explosion-proof Structure
The PTZ’s enclosure is designed to prevent explosive gases from entering the PTZ
body and to prevent explosive gas mixtures from exploding from outside the PTZ in the
case of an explosion. The PTZ’s explosion-proof capacity is realized by controlling the
enclosure strength, the interfacing of the components in terms of clearance and length,
and the maximum surface temperature of the PTZ exterior.
The explosion-proof enclosure, after fine finishing, should stand up to hydrostatic
pressure tests (2Mpa for 10 sec or more) with neither leakage nor damage, as
specified in the GB 3836.2/IEC 60079-1/EN 60079-1.
The maximum surface temperature shall be no more than 60℃in the process of
operation.
The camera adopts packing sealing as the cable entry to make the cable tightly fit. The
length of obligate cable should be no less than 1m.
The viewing window of the camera is made of toughened glass, which stands up to
both the impact test and the thermal shock test.

Ensure LAN or Internet service is available; every PC is well connected to Ethernet (via
NIC or network cable); TCP/IP network software Internet Explorer (contained in
Windows /NT/2000/XP), Internet Explorer 8.0 or later is recommended.
PC requirements: CPU: PⅢor later; Memory: 512M or above (DirectX8.1 or later).
Monitor: 17-inch screen; 1920×1080 resolution is recommended.
Operating system: Windows NT,Windows2000, Windows XP and higher editions.

3.Installation and Connection
This section focuses on the installation and connection of the PTZ.
In order to keep the safety of the personnel and the equipment, do not
attempt to open or disassemble the product.
Make sure that the PTZ is properly grounded!
Installation Notes
1. Check the following items one by one before installation. Do not use the product
if the following requirements are not met.
Make sure the Ex certificate No. is in place;
Make sure the ex-marking is in line with the environment exposed to explosive
gas mixtures;
Make sure all the explosion-proof parts are free from crack and defect, which may
reduce the explosion-proof capacity;
Make sure the interior and exterior grounding is available.
2. Protection of the flameproof surface
Protect the flameproof surface from damages, bump and scratches in the process of
installation, operation and maintenance.
3. Grounding
Make sure the interior and exterior of the PTZ is properly grounded.
4. Obligate cable of PTZ
The obligate cable of the PTZ should be not shorter than 1m. The cable should be connected
with an explosion-proof junction box or the interior of the PTZ.
5. “DO NOT OPEN THE PTZ WHEN IT IS CHARGED”
Installation Steps

1. Firstly, install the sun shields to the corresponding positions, as illustrated below.

2. Align the Washing Nozzle Bracket mounting hole with the base 3 mounting hole without
Jamming with the composite cable coming from the camera housing.
3. Match the 6 screw holes in PTZ base with the 6 screw holes in the sun shield. Put the
M6*30 socket head cap screws through the screw holes and fasten the screws via Φ6
spring washers, Φ6 flat washers and M6 screw nuts.

4. Shield composite cable with explosion-proof flexible tube, and then enter the junction
box for wire harness connection, the overall effect is as follows：

The explosion-proof junction box and explosion-proof flexible tube for the company
selected parts, shield wire hole and explosion-proof junction box outlet hole thread is G3/4
'' pipe thread explosion-proof junction box mounting flange size:

Make sure no person is standing beneath the installation location in the
process of installation to avoid injuries caused by a falling object.
This product is prohibited wall mounting type，explosion-proof flexible
tube diameter should be not less than 13mm and explosion-proof flexible
pipe thread docking with the holder and the explosion-proof junction box
must be more than 5 thread above
Cable Connection
If the voltage fluctuation is out of the range of -15% to +10%, the camera should be provided
with a voltage regulator, whose nominal power should be no less than 1.5 times its service
power. A Surge Protective Device (SPD) should be applied to the aerial cable end that
enters the monitoring room or the cable end connected to the product exposed in the open
area, placed at the top of a tower or positioned above the surrounding buildings.
It is recommended that the installation should follow the order of electric supply----voltage
regulator----SPD IN----SPD OUT----transformer----product.

Through the high temperature adhesive tape to buckle the prominent part of wrap, prevent
mobile and other things
Wire harness connection after check and confirm the guard securely installed, check the
wiring harness is connected correctly, check the power supply, and confirm the good ground;
confirm the live parts of terminals or more exposed no short circuit or short circuit to ground;
confirm the terminal connection, plug connector and screw are no loose fastening

4.Operation
This section introduces the basic operation and setup of the PTZ.Search IP Camera.
Search IP Camera
Find camera IP addresses via search tool. After the NVS software is installed, a search tool
shortcut icon that looks like will be created on the desktop. Click the icon for IP
address search, users can find the IP addresses and other parameters of all the dome
cameras in connection with the host computer. Users can modify IP addresses and other
parameters by double clicking the IP addresses.
Before accessing the IP camera via Internet Explorer, you need to configure the network
settings of the host computer in the same LAN with the IP camera (e.g. IP address:
192.168.1.188, Subnet mask: 255.255.255.0, Gateway: 192.168.1.1).
