BL8x0c i2 Server Installation Read-Me-First Document
Before installing the Windows operating system (OS) on any HP Integrity BL860c i2, BL870c i2,
or BL890c i2 server blade, you must perform the following steps, in order:
1. Ensure that you are installing the OS to one of the following controllers:
•Embedded SAS controller (HP Smart Array P410i)
•Fibre Channel Mezzanine card located in the Monarch blade (or left-most blade
in a multi-blade system)
2. For installations using Microsoft media, you must use the EBSU Express Setup option to
ensure that critical configuration settings are made before the OS installation begins.
(EBSU software is located on the HP Smart Setup media.)
3. If you choose not to install from a local console, you must install from a headless
console; the iLO Integrated Remote Console is not currently supported on BL8x0c i2
systems. For headless console installation instructions, see the Windows Server 2008 R2
on HP Integrity Servers Installation Guide on your Smart Setup media.
4. After the Microsoft OS installation finishes, you must install the Integrity Support Pack
(ISP) from the HP Smart Setup media next. Then, install the latest OS patches (called
QFEs) from the HP Smart Update media.

HP Integrity BL860c i2、BL870c i2、またはBL890c i2サーバー ブレードのいずれかにWindowsオペレーティ

2. Microsoftメディアを使用したインストールでは、OSインストールの開始前に、EBSU Express
Setupオプションを使用してクリティカルなコンフィギュレーション設定を実行しておく必要が
あります（EBSUソフトウェアはHP Smart Setupメディアに収録されています）。
3. ローカル コンソールからインストールしない場合は、ヘッドレス コンソールからインストール
する必要があります。BL8x0c i2システムでは現在、iLO内蔵リモート コンソールはサポートされ
ていません。ヘッドレス コンソールを使用したインストール手順については、Smart Setupメ
ディアにある『HP IntegrityサーバーWindows Server 2008 R2インストレーション ガイド』を参
照してください。
4. Microsoft OSのインストールが完了したら、HP Smart SetupメディアからIntegrity Support Pack
（ISP）をインストールします。次に、HP Smart Updateメディアから最新のOSパッチ（QFE）を
インストールします。
