OPERATING & CHANGING INSTRUCTIONS
Before operating the lock or changing the combination, READ THESE INSTRUCTIONS THOROUGHLY.
At the top of the dial ring an index is provided for normal dialing and opening. At the side of the opening
index, a changing index is provided for use only when setting a new combination.
This is a precision lock, therefore, extreme care must be used to align the combination numbers with the index.
Turn the dial slowly and steadily. If, after turning the correct number of revolutions, any number is turned beyond
the index, the entire series of combination numbers must be re-dialed. DO NOT TURN BACK TO REGAIN A
PROPER ALIGNMENT WITH THE NUMBERS. Each time a selected number is aligned with the opening index,
a revolution is counted.

CAUTION

ALWAYS BE CERTAIN THE WING OF THE CHANGING KEY IS ENTIRELY WITHIN THE
LOCK (FIG. 2) BEFORE TURNING KEY.
WARNING
CHANGING TO A NEW COMBINATION
Make up a new combination selecting 3 sets of numbers of your own choosing. DO NOT use numbers
between 0 and 20 for your last number. (e.g. 32-74-14). For maximum security, DO NOT use numbers
ending in 0 or 5 and DO NOT use numbers is a rising or falling sequence. (e.g. 25-40-65 is not as good
a combination as 46-32-68)
1. Using the changing index, dial the existing combination as explained in paragraphs 1-2-3 above.
The lock leaves the factory with all 3 numbers of the combination set on 50.
2. Hold the dial with the last number at the changing index, and insert the changing key in the key
hole in the back of the lock (see Fig. 2). Insert the key until the wing is entirely inside the lock and
comes to a positive stop (see Fig. 2).
3. Turn key one quarter turn to the LEFT (see Fig. 3). With the changing key in this position, turn the
dial to the LEFT, stopping when the first number of the newly selected combination aligns with the
changing index the FOURTH time.
4. Turn the dial to the RIGHT, stopping when the second number is aligned with the changing index,
the THIRD time.
5. Turn the dial to the LEFT, stopping when the third number is aligned with the changing index, the
SECOND time. Holding the dial in this position, turn the changing key back to the RIGHT and
remove it (see Fig. 4) The new combination you have chosen is now set in the lock.
IF AN ERROR HAS BEEN MADE IN SETTING A NEW COMBINATION, we suggest that an accredited
locksmith be called.

1. Determinar en la pared el
área donde se desea colocar
la caja de seguridad. Las
cajas están diseñadas para
ser montadas en la pared,
teniendo en cuenta que del
centro de la viga izquierda al
centro de la viga derecha
deben existir 40,64 cm de
separación.
Nota: Antes de empezar a
cortar compruebe que no
hayan cerca tomas de
corriente.
2. Utilizar los diseños adjuntos
(ver fig. 1 & 2) con el fin de
efectuar con la sierra la
apertura en la pared donde
colocará la caja de seguridad
pequeña o grande.
1. Déterminer l’aire du mur où
le coffre-fort doit être
installé. Ces coffres-forts ont
été dessinés pour être
encastrés dans le mur. Entre
le centre de la poutre gauche
et le centre de la poutre
droite il doit avoir un écart
de 40,64 cm.
Attention: Avant de procéder
au découpage, s’assurer de la
localisation des prises de
courant.
2. Utiliser les croquis joints
(voir fig. 1 & 2) afin de
découper l’ouverture, où on
veut encstrer le coffre-fort,
dans le mur à l’aide de la
scie à chantourner.
1. Determine the area on your
wall where the safe is to be
mounted. Safes are designed
to fit between 16" (40.64cm)
O.C. wall joists.
NOTE: Be aware of any
electrical outlets before
beginning to cut.
2. Use included sketches (see
Figs. 1 & 2) to cut out small
and large wall safe openings
using the jig saw.

3. Insertar la caja de seguridad
en la apertura de la pared.
Abrir la puerta y trazar con
el lápiz semicirculos en los
(4) agujeros del interior de la
caja dejando una marca en la
viga. (Asegúrese de haber
empujado la caja
suficientemente hacia
dentro, de modo que la cara
posterior de la caja toque por
completo la pared.)
4. Utilice una broca de 4,75
mm de diámetro para hacer
(4) agujeros en las marcas
previamente hechas en las
(2) vigas.
5. Tras haber hecho los
agujeros, inserte la caja de
seguridad en la pared.
Coloque las rondanas en los
tornillos y ponga los tornillos
en los agujeros previamente
hechos. Finalmente, apriete
los tornillos.
3. Introduire le coffre-fort dans
l’ouverture du mur. Ouvrir la
porte et tracer avec le crayon
des cercles à l’intérieur des 4
trous du coffre-fort, en
laissant une marque dans la
poutre. (S’assurer qu’on aie
bien poussé le coffre en
arrière, de façon que la face
extérieure de la plaque
postérieure soit en contact
avec le mur).
4. Employer une mèche 4,75
mm de diamètre pour forer 4
trous dans les marques des 2
poutres faites auparavant.
5. Après avoir fait les trous,
insérer le coffre dans le mur.
Placer les vis dans les
rondelles, et ces dernières
dans les trous forés
auparavant. Finalement
serrer à fond les vis.
3. Insert the wall safe into
opening previously cut out.
Open door and trace circles
through (4) holes on inside of
safe so that you leave a
mark on the inside of the
beams. (Make sure that wall
safe is pushed inside of wall
until back side of face plate
touches the face of the wall.)
4. Use 3/16" (4.75mm) diameter
drill bit to drill (4) holes
through the (2) beams where
you previously marked.
5. After holes have been
drilled, insert wall safe back
into the wall. Place washers
on screws then insert into
prevoiusly drilled holes and
tighten.
