Thank you for purchasing the Reactor 200 charger from HPI Racing. This product is simple to operate, but does
require some expertise. Please read this manual completely to ensure proper and safe use.
Features:
1.Built-in power supply works without additional adapter.
2.Supports LiPo, LiFe and NiMh/NiCd.
3.Maximum charge current of 2.0A.
4.Reverse polarity protection.
5.The maximum charging current is adjustable, batteries
with small capacity can be charged at a lower current
to protect the battery.
Charging:
1.Connect the charger to AC power.
2.The green light on the charger will come on if it is
working properly.
3.If you need to switch the current to 0.7A, set-up
according to the “Setting the Charge Current” steps.
4.
There are three buttons to switch the battery type, press
the button that corresponds with the battery type you are
charging.
5.Connect the battery to the corresponding port on the
charger – see figure 1. Use the supplied adapter
lead when charging NiMh/NiCd batteries.
6.Press the corresponding button for the battery type
you are charging. A flashing light means that the
battery is charging.
7.Press the corresponding button at any time to stop
the charging process. The charging is complete
when the LED
stops flashing and remains lit. You can
then remove the battery.
Attention:
1.Before using, confirm that the input voltage and
battery type are suitable for use with this product.
2.Never leave the unit unattended while charging. If
there is a problem while charging, power off
immediately and remove the battery from the charger .
3.Don’t switch the battery type while charging. If the
three LEDs are flashing rapidly it means an error has
occurred. Remove the battery from the charger and
reconnect it.
4.
Don’t connect more than one battery to the charger at
any time.
5.You must ONLY use the supplied adapter lead when
charging Ni-MH/Ni-Cd batteries. Don’t use with LiPo’s.
6. You must use #101289 Plazma LiPo Safe Bag when
charging LiPo battery packs. Not doing so will void
your HPI Racing Warranty.
Warranty and Service
The Reactor 200 is guaranteed to be free from manufac-
turing and assembly defects for a period of one year from
the date of purchase. In the event that the charger fails as
a result of a defect during this period it will be repaired or
replaced free of charge. You may be required to produce
proof of purchase (invoice or receipt), please keep this
safe with your charger.
Failures as a result of misuse, modification or incorrect
usage will not be covered under warranty and may result in
an additional service charge at the discretion of your
distributor, along with any repair costs incurred. In order to
claim against your warranty, please contact your local HPI
distributor to arrange the return and testing of your charger
.

Setting The Charge Current:
The charge current can be selected between 2 settings,
0.7A and 2.0A. 2.0A is the default charge current.
Setting method: In standby mode, pressing and holding
the LiPo button for more than 2 seconds will switch the
current. The green and yellow lights on means that the
charge current is set to 0.7A and if all three LEDs are on
it means that the charge current is set to 2.0A. You can
then press any key to exit the setting. The charger will
restore the default value (2.0A) for each new charging.

Laden:
1. Den Lader an das Stromnetz anschließen
2. Das grüne Licht am Ladegerät leuchtet wenn alles
in Ordnung ist.
3. Wenn man den Ladestrom auf 0.7A umstellen will,
dann jetzt gemäß der Anleitung.
4. Es gibt drei Taster um den Akkutyp zu wählen, bitte
passend zum Akku einstellen.
5. Den Akku an den passenden Balanceranschluß
anschließen (Lixx Akkus) oder den beiliegenden
NiMh/NiCd Adapter verwenden.
6. Den passenden Taster für den Akkutyp drücken.
Eine pulsierende LED zeigt das Laden an.
7. Man kann das Laden jederzeit stoppen, durch
drücken des passenden Tasters. Der Akku ist voll,
wenn die LED aufhört zu pulsieren und dauerhaft
leuchtet. Dann kann man den Akku abstecken.
Achtung:
1. Vor dem Benutzen bitte prüfen daß der Akkutyp zu
dem Ladegerät paßt.
2. Das Ladegerät niemals ohne Aufsicht laden lassen.
Wenn ein Problem auftritt bitte das Netzkabel ziehen
und den Akku vom Ladegerät abhängen.
3. Bitte während des Ladens nicht den Akkutyp
verstellen. Wenn die drei LEDs schnell blinken dann
ist ein Fehler aufgetreten. Dann den Akku abstecken
und neu anstecken.
4. Niemals mehr als einen Akku gleichzeitig anstecken.
5. Den beiliegenden Adapter darf man nicht mit
LiPo/LiFe Akkus benutzen. Er ist nur für die Nutzung
mit NiMh/NiCd Akkus geeignet.
6. Sie müssen einen LiPo Ladesack wie HPI Plazma
#101289 verwenden wenn Sie LiPo/LiFe Akkus laden.
Wenn Sie ohne Ladesack laden verlieren Sie den
Garantieanspruch.

Garantie und Service
Defekte als Folge von Missbrauch, Modifikation oder falschem
Gebrauch werden von dieser Garantie nicht abgedeckt und
können mit einer Servicegebühr belegt werden. Je nach
Distributor kann dies neben den Reparaturkosten variieren.
Um die Garantieansprüche geltend zu machen, wenden
Sie sich bitte an Ihren HPI Distributor um die weitere
Vorgehensweise zu klären.

Einstellen des Ladestroms:
0.7A und 2.0A. 2.0A ist die Standardeinstellung.
Einstellmethode: Im Standbymodus, den LiPo Taster für
mehr als 2 Sekunden drücken, dann wechselt die
Stromstärke. Wenn die grüne und die gelbe LED leuchtet
dann ist die Stromstärke 0.7A, und wenn alle drei LEDs
leuchten dann ist die Stromstärke 2.0A. Man kann dann
irgendeinen Taster drücken um das Menü zu verlassen.
Der Lader startet jeden neuen Ladevorgang mit dem
Standard 2.0A.

Bitte nicht mehr als einen Akku gleichzeitig anschließen.
Den beiliegenden Adapter darf man nicht mit LiPo/LiFe
Akkus benutzen. Er ist nur für die Nutzung mit
NiMh/NiCd Akkus geeignet.
Sie haben auf Ihren Reactor 200 ein Jahr (ab Kaufdatum)
Garantie auf Herstell- und Montagedefekte. Sollte es
innerhalb dieser Zeit zu einem Problem aufgrund eines
solchen Defekts kommen, wird Ihr Reactor 200 kostenlos
repariert oder getauscht. Dazu müssen Sie den Kauf mit
einer Rechnung oder einem Beleg nachweisen können,
bewahren Sie diese also sicher auf.

d’une modification ne sont pas couvertes par la garantie
et peuvent entraîner des frais d’entretien supplémentaires,

réparation encourus.
Pour pouvoir faire une réclamation sous garantie, veuillez
contacter votre distributeur HPI local pour pouvoir renvoyer
et faire tester votre chargeur.
