On activation, I have only received my last 50 messages on my telephone whereas the maximum
number of messages is set to 200. Is this right?
Yes. However, based on this synchronisation your new messages will be added to this first batch until
you reach 200 e-mails (the system itself handles the deletion (on the mobile ‘phone only) of the oldest
messages once the maximum number of messages has been reached.
I notice that I am permanently connected via GPRS/3G. Is this right?
Yes, this is the standard way that Vodafone Direct E-mail works, allowing you to receive your e-mails in
real time. The Vodafone Direct E-mail package is specially set up so that you do not have to worry about
the connection time
Please note: Incorrect time/date/time zone settings on the telephone are one of the main causes of
problems
