To begin, rinse your mouth with fresh water before using the device.
Abstain from smoking or drinking for at least 15 minutes. If preform a test
just after drinking, the reading will fluctuate from very high reading and
then drop gradually. It is due to the alcohol residues inside your mouth
enhance the measured values. This will also happen with aromatic drinks,
alcoholic mouthwashes or mouth sprays, medicines or drug, as well as by
burping and vomiting.
Also, when alcohol enters the blood through the alimentary canal (mouth,
stomach, and intestines), it is distributed through every part of the body,
including the lungs. This period will take about 15~30minutes before stable.
Our device detect human breathe and gives a digital read out of a person’s
approximate Blood Alcohol Concentration (known from here on as BAC).
Read the User instructions carefully before use.
1. Open the battery cover on the back of the device.
2. Insert 1 x 3.7V rechargeable battery (AA) into the battery
compartment.
3. When flash on the display, the power is not enough.
Connect the USB cable and charge the machine. “Wait” LED will
change to RED color and will turn off when fully charged

4. - 0.00‰ is shown if the measured blood alcohol content is less
than 0.1‰ (0.05mg alcohol per litre of exhaled air or blood
alcohol content of 0.01% ).
- the value will be shown digitally in the display if the measured
blood alcohol content is between 0.1‰ (0.05mg alcohol per
litre of exhaled air or blood alcohol content of 0.01% ).and
4.00‰(2.00 mg alcohol per litre of exhaled air or blood
alcohol content of 0.40% ).
- HI is shown in the display if the measured blood alcohol
content is higher than 4.00‰ (2.00 mg alcohol per litre of
exhaled air or blood alcohol content of 0.40% ).
5. User can press the ON/OFF key for another test. “test” shows on
the display, a beep sounds to begin test again.

Under the “ALCO” mode, press Esc key for about 3 seconds to enter
into the memory recall mode. Press Esc key again to scroll the
records. (Max.10 records). Press and hold Esc key for 3 seconds to exit
memory recall mode. Press
In the record mode, the test number and its reading will flash on the
LED alternatively. For example, the 9th record is 0.50‰BAC, then r-09
and 0.50 will flash alternatively.
If memories full, the new reading will overwrite the previous one and (FIFO).
All the records will be erased if user takes off the rechargeable battery.
The default unit and alert level for this machine is 0.5‰BAC
(0.08%BAC for US/UK) and no need to set up the following if the
alcohol standard of your country is 0.5‰BAC (0.08%BAC for US/UK).
If you want to modify the unit and alert level, user must study the
following carefully.
Turn on the machine and press Esc and go to “ALCO”, then press

There are three units can be chosen, that is,
Permillage (‰BAC); Percent (%BAC); mg/L
Then press ON/OFF key to change the unit (the corresponding
indicator “ %BAC ‰BAC mg/l ” will turn on)
For example: 0.020 0.20 0.100

After select the desired unit, press Esc key can go to the alert level
setting mode. There are 5 alert level can be set, B1, B2, B3, B5 &
B8. Please find the attached ※Table 1 for Alert level Vs different

Important Notes
10
·Your blood alcohol content (BAC) may change within minutes
·Do not use this device to determine if you can drive or not.
·You cannot use the test results in Court.
·Your safest bet is not to mix drinking with driving at all.
·Avoid Binge drinking.
· Store according to specifications. Avoid long term sun exposure
and humidity.
Never unscrew the AA2000. Warranty not valid if any screws had being
loosened or warranty label had being broken; or if the instrument is used
in a manner not conforming to its intended use.
Fuel Cell sensor is using the electrochemical reaction for
platinum against ethanol molecules, gives the most stable and
reliable measuring technology.
Many factors (e.g. environment, smoke & other mouth
impurities) may affect the BAC level, wash your mouth
always before testing, wait at least 15 minutes after your last
alcohol drink and use the readings for Reference Only.

When alcohol enters the blood through the alimentary canal (mouth,
stomach, and intestines), it is distributed through every part of the
body, including the lungs.
As the blood passes through the lungs a quantity of alcohol
passes through the alveoli (tiny sacs of air in the lungs). This quantity
of alcohol that passes through the alveoli is proportionate to the
amount of alcohol present in the blood.
By using a breath testing device it is possible to measure the
quantity of alcohol that passes through the alveoli, and consequently
calculate the person’s BAC (Blood Alcohol Concentration). The ratio
of breath alcohol to BAC is 2000:1 - in simple terms, every 2000
milliliters of breath will contain the same amount of alcohol as 1
milliliters of blood. (and some other countries is using 2300:1 or
2200:1 or 2100:1)
For this reason it is necessary for a test subject to blow into the
AAT for at least 6 seconds so that a sufficient deep air lung sample is
obtained. Failure to do so may result in an artificially low reading.
Please read the full instructions carefully for proper use of the AAT
unit. Never drink and drive – the only safe level is zero!
Repair/maintenance of the AA2000 should only be carried out
by trained technician from our authorized Service Center.
Only authentic “AA” spare parts can be used for maintenance.
Specification subjects to change without notice.
