Install drive in system
Connecting IDE and

Completing installation
Refer to option installation instructions that came
with your server.
1) Attach IDE cable.
2) Attach drive power cable.
1) Re-assemble your server.
2) Re-attach all power cables
and turn on the computer.
3) Verify that the drive is
installed and recognized
by the host computer by
looking in the IDE
configuration utility of
your computer bios.
4) Install backup software.
