WARNINGS!
IMPORTANT: Read these instructions carefully before use
and keep them for future reference. Your child’s safety
may be aected if you do not follow these instructions.
Failure to follow these warnings and the instructions
could result in serious injury or death.
The Venus cocoon is suitable from birth. It is suitable for a child who cannot sit up un-
aided, roll over and cannot push itself up on its hands and knees.
Maximum weight of the child is 9kg.
The Venus seat unit is suitable for children from birth, used in the most reclined posi-
tion for newborn babies, up to 15kgs (or 3 years whichever comes first).
Using the cocoon on the chassis:
WARNING Ensure all safety straps and poppers have been secured before placing baby
in cocoon.
WARNING This product is only suitable for a child who cannot sit up unaided.
WARNING only use on a firm, horizontal level and dry surface.
WARNING Do not let other children play unattended near the cocoon.
WARNING Do not use if any part of the cocoon is broken, torn or missing.
WARNING Do not use the cocoon once the child can sit up unaided.
WARNING Not to be used for overnight or unsupervised sleeping.
WARNING Only use the cocoon in a flat position. Do not sit on an angle.
Never use the cocoon on a stand.
The head of the child in the cocoon should never be lower than the body of the child.
Do not add an additional mattress to the cocoon.
This cocoon is not intended to use on its own as a sleeping unit, it must ONLY be used
with Venus stroller unit.
Using the Seat unit on the chassis:
WARNING The seat unit is suitable from birth.
WARNING Always use the restraint system.
WARNING Always use the crotch strap in combination with the waist belt.
WARNING Use a harness as soon as the child can sit unaided
WARNING Never leave the child unattended.
WARNING Ensure that all the locking devices are engaged before use.
WARNING Do not let the child play with this product.
WARNING This product is not suitable for running or skating.
WARNING Check that the pram body or seat unit are correctly engaged before use.
WARNING To avoid injury ensure that the child is kept away when unfolding and fold-
ing this product.
WARNING To avoid the risk of suocation, keep all plastic packaging and
materials out of reach from children.
WARNING Do not use if any part of the product is broken, torn or missing.
WARNING Keep away from fire and other sources of strong heat.
Ensure your child wears a correctly fitted and adjusted harness at all times.
Use the parking brake when stationary and when removing or placing the child into the
stroller.
Any additional load attached to the pushchair will aect the stability and safety of the
vehicle.
Do not use a platform with this product as it may render the product unsafe.
Only use the cocoon with the Venus stroller system. Do not use replacement parts or
accessories other than those approved by Ickle Bubba.
A basket is provided for the carriage of goods up to a maximum weight of 3kg.
Store in a safe place away from children.

Step 1: Unfolding the Frame
To open the frame from the folded po-
sition, release the frame lock on the left
side of the frame and lift the handlebar
upwards until the frame locks into place.
a. To attach the rear wheels, push
each wheel pin into the sides of
the brake bar until you hear a
“click”. Give them a tug to ensure
they are attached securely.
b. To attach the front wheels,
insert each wheel pin into the
centre of the socket, ensuring you
hear them “click” in. Give each
wheel a firm tug to ensure they
are secure.

Step 3: Fitting the Bumper Bars
Insert the bumper bars into the bumper bar sockets on the seat
frame. To remove, press the button on the side you want to release,
and pull the bumper bar out.

Setting up the Newborn Cocoon (only included with Prime
bundle)
a. Unfold the cocoon and unclip
the buckles. Locate the 5 cocoon
inserts. The base board may be
already inserted into the base of
the cocoon. To remove or insert
the base board, unfasten the
Velcro strip on the base of the
cocoon and move the board as
needed.
b. Unfasten the zips located at
the bottom of the top and foot
end of the cocoon and fit the end
inserts into each end.
c. Unfasten the zips located on
either size the cocoon and insert
the side inserts, ensuring that
the flat side is at the top of the
cocoon and the curved side is at
the base.
d. Ensure all zips are fastened
once the inserts are fitted, and fit
the cocoon apron using the zip, if
desired.

Using the Brake
a. When stopped, use the brake at
all times by pressing down on the
bottom of the paddle with your
foot.
b. To disengage the brake, press
down on top side of the paddle.
Using the Front Swivel Wheels
a. To lock the front swivel wheels
into place for use on uneven ter-
rain, press the wheel lock down.
b. To go back to 360° swivel
mode, press the buttons up again.

Removing the Wheels
To remove the rear wheels, press
the button located on the brake
bar and pull the wheel o.
Adjusting the Seat and Calf Rest
a. Squeeze the release latch on
the back of the seat and pull it
downwards, stopping at your
desired position. To raise the seat,
hold both straps with one hand
and squeeze the release latch
while pushing the back of the
seat up with your other hand.
b. To raise the calf rest, lift it until
it clicks into place.
To lower, squeeze the release
buttons either side and lower into
place. Please take care not to
force or use too much pressure
on the calf rest, as this may cause
damage.
How to use the Stroller
To remove the front wheels, press
the black button on the inside of
the side of the wheel socket and
pull the wheel down.

Using the Newborn Cocoon
a. Recline the seat to the flat posi-
tion and raise the calf rest. Thread
the attachment belt on the bottom
of the cocoon through the sides of
the seat and buckle underneath.
There are slots in the seat fabric to
guide the belt through.
How to use the Stroller
c. Attach the studs at the head
end of the cocoon to the inside of
the seat fabric to keep it in place.
d. Fasten the toggles in the posi-
tion of your choice depending on
the weather. Bumper bar can be
on or o.
b. Do the same at the foot end,
fastening the attachment belt
around the calf rest. Make sure
both are fastened tightly.
