1. Gefahren durch elektrische Spannung

6. Reinigung des Gerätes
Schädigende Reinigungsmittel
Kratzer, Farbveränderungen, Feuchteschäden oder Kurzschluss am Gerät
• vor Reinigung, das Gerät außer Betrieb nehmen
• aggressive bzw. scharfe Reinigungs- und Lösungsmittel sind ungeeignet
• nach der Reinigung sicherstellen, dass keine Restfeuchtigkeit vorhanden ist
• Reinigung der Geräte am besten mit trockenem Antistatiktuch durchführen
7. Entsorgung des Gerätes
Umweltverschmutzung, Wiederverwertung nicht möglich
Mögliche Umweltbelastung durch Bestandteile, Recyclingkreislauf unterbrochen
Dieses auf dem Produkt und der Verpackung angebrachte Symbol zeigt an, dass dieses

6. Cleaning the device
Harmful cleaning agents

• Aggressive or intense cleaning agents and solvents are unsuitable
• Make sure there is no residual moisture after cleaning
• We recommend cleaning devices using a dry, anti-static cloth

free PCIe x4 slot. With PCIe 4.0 x4 your M.2 NVMe SSD reaches the next level in data transfer rates. Up to 64
Gbit/s are supported with PCIe 4.0. In ranges like this your M.2 NVMe SSD needs to be cooled to avoid per-
formance lost. The delivered full aluminium heat sink ensures long term high-performance operations and provides
optimum heat dissipation thanks to the cooling fins.

System Requirements:
One free PCIe 4.0 x4 slot on your motherboard
Hint: Downwards compatible to PCIe 3.0/2.0
Installation:
Remove the spacer (G) from the screw set and place it on the
semicircular notch of your M.2 SSD. Carefully insert your
M.2 SSD into the M.2 socket with the connection side
at an angle of about 30°. Ensure that the tongue (SSD) and
groove (socket) are opposite each other.

Push the M.2 SSD down and secure it from below with the silver
pan head screw (H) at the rear end of the M.2 SSD.
Take the thermal pad and remove the protective film on both
sides and attach it to the M.2 SSD The thermal pad will adhere
automatically.
Hint: When using a short M.2 SSD 22x30/42 or 60, the
thermal pad can be shortened to the required length with
scissors before removing the protective film.
Hint: Avoid dust and dirt between the M.2 SSD and the
thermal pad and apply the thermal pad immediately after
removing the protective film
Place the heat sink (B) onto the PCIe extension card.
Make sure that it is correctly aligned.

Hint: Before you start the installation on the motherboard make sure that your body is electrically discharged.
Ground your body e.g. by touching a heating pipe. Discharge on contact with the motherboard can cause ir-
reparable damage.
Hint: Also make sure that the system is shut down and disconnected from the power supply before installing the
PCIe extension card
Please note the following important instructions for startup
• The M.2 SSD cannot be connected or disconnected while the computer is running.
• A new SSD must first be initialized, partitioned and formatted by the operating system to be
displayed by the system.
• If the SSD is not immediately recognized by the system, please check:
o whether the SSD is initialized, partitioned and formatted.
• PCIe M.2 SSDs become very warm when used. If you want to remove the SSD or PCIe card, wait
approx. 5-10 minutes after shutting down the system until the card has cooled down.
Fix the heat sink with the 4 small black screws (I) at all four
corners.
Depending on the PC case you use, fix the full- or
low-profile slot bracket with the big black screws (J).

Systemanforderungen
Einen freien PCIe 4.0 x4 Slot auf dem Mainboard
Hinweis: Abwärtskompatibel zu PCIe 3.0/2.0
Entnehmen Sie den Abstandshalter (G) aus dem
Schraubenset und setzen Sie ihn auf die halbkreisförmige
Kerbe Ihrer M.2 SSD. Setzen Sie Ihre M.2 SSD vorsichtig mit
der Anschlussseite in einem Winkel von ca. 30° in den M.2-
Sockel ein. Achten Sie darauf, dass sich Feder (SSD) und Nut
(Sockel) gegenüberliegen.

Drücken Sie die M.2 SSD nach unten und befestigen Sie sie von
unten mit der silbernen Flachkopfschraube (H) am hinteren Ende
der M.2 SSD.
Nehmen Sie das Wärmeleitpad und entfernen Sie die Schutzfolie
auf beiden Seiten und bringen Sie sie auf der M.2 SSD an. Das
Wärmeleitpad haftet selbständig.
Hinweis: Bei Verwendung eines kurzen M.2 SSD 22x30/42
oder 60 kann das Wärmeleitpad vor dem Entfernen der Schutz
folie mit einer Schere auf die erforderliche Länge gekürzt werden.
Hinweis: Vermeiden Sie Staub und Schmutz zwischen M.2 SSD
und dem Wärmeleitpad und bringen Sie das Wärmeleitpad un
mittelbar nach dem Entfernen der Schutzfolie an.
Setzen Sie nun den Kühlkörper (B) auf die PCIe
Erweiterungskarte auf.
Achten Sie dabei auf die korrekte Ausrichtung.

Befestigen Sie den Kühlkörper mit den 4 kleinen schwarzen
Schrauben (I) an allen vier Ecken.
Je nachdem, welches Gehäuse Sie verwenden, befestigen
Sie das Full- oder half-Profile Slotblech mit den großen schwarzen
Schrauben (J).
Hinweis: Bevor Sie mit der Installation auf dem Mainboard beginnen, vergewissern Sie sich, dass Ihr Körper
elektrisch entladen ist. Erden Sie Ihren Körper z.B. durch kurzes Berühren eines Heizungsrohrs. Eine Entladung bei
Kontakt mit dem Mainboard kann irreparable Schäden verursachen.
Hinweis: Vergewissern Sie sich auch, dass das System heruntergefahren und von der Stromversorgung getrennt
ist, bevor Sie die PCIe-Erweiterungskarte installieren.

Bitte nehmen Sie folgende wichtige Hinweise zur Inbetriebnahme zur Kenntnis
•Die externe SSD kann nicht im laufenden Betrieb des Rechners angeschlossen oder von diesem getrennt
werden.
•Eine neue SSD muss vom Betriebssystem erst initialisiert, partitioniert und formatiert werden, um vom System
angezeigt zu werden.
•Wenn die SSD nicht sofort vom System erkannt wird bitte prüfen:
o ob die SSD initialisiert, partitioniert und formatiert ist.
•PCIe (NVMe) M.2 SSDs werden bei Benutzung sehr warm. Sollte Sie die SSD oder die PCIe Karte demontieren
wollen, warten Sie ca. 5-10 min nach herunterfahren des Systems bis die Karte abgekühlt ist.
