Mains Plug or Direct plug-in adapter is used as disconnect
device and it should remain readily operable during intended
use. In order to disconnect the apparatus from the mains
completely, the Mains Plug or Direct plug-in adapter should
be disconnected from the mains socket outlet completely.

The battery backup is meant for short
unexpected power outages. In the event
of a power outage, the battery backup
will retain the time, alarm settings.
The battery backup cannot power the
primary functions of the clock ( eg. playing
and charging a docked iPod or iPhone.)

iPod and iPhone
Docking an iPod or iPhone
1. Connect the iPod or iPhone to the
connector inside the DOCK.
2. When the clock is plugged in, using AC
power, the docked iPod or iPhone will
charge.
Playing a Docked iPod or iPhone
1. Follow the instructions for Docking an
iPod or iPhone.
2. Press the SOURCE button to switch to
iPod mode.
3. Press the PLAY button to begin playing
the docked iPod or iPhone.

Manually Setting the Time
Setting the Alarms Activating or Deactivating an Alarm
1. Press the POWER/AL OFF button to
turn the clock o.
2. Press CLOCK SET/MEM button.
3. Press the TUN +/FF/HR and TUN -/FB/
MIN to adjust the hour and minute.
4. Press the CLOCK SET/MEM button to
nish setting the time.
1. Press the POWER/AL OFF button to
turn the clock o.
2. Press and hold the AL1/M- or AL2/M+
button.
3. Press the TUN +/FF/HR and TUN -/FB/
MIN buttons to adjust the hour and
minute.
4. Press the AL1/M- or AL2/M+ button.
5. Press the SOURCE button to select
the alarm source. (IP=iPod, rd=Radio,
bu=Buzzer)
6. Press the AL1/M- or AL2/M+ button.
7. Press the VOLUME buttons to adjust
the alarm volume.
8. Press the AL1/M- or AL2/M+ button to
nish setting the alarm.
The alarm will automatically be active
after it is rst set.
When the alarm is set a red light will
appear next to the Alarm 1 Indicator or
the Alarm 2 Indicator.
1. Press the POWER/AL OFF button to
turn the clock o.
2. Press the AL1/M- or AL2/M+ button.
3. With the alarm 1 or alarm 2 time
showing on the display, press AL1/M-
or AL2/M+ button again to activate or
deactivate the alarm.
Auto Time Sync for iPod and iPhone
Setting the Sleep Timer
1. Follow the instructions for Docking an
iPod or iPhone.
Auto time sync will not work with all
iPods. Auto time sync will not work while
Manually Setting the Time.
2. In less than 10 seconds, the clock will
automatically set to the time of the
docked iPod or iPhone.
To auto time sync again after the initial
auto time sync, follow the instructions
for Docking an iPod or iPhone, and press
and hold the CLOCK SET button for 3
seconds.
1. In iPod, Radio, or Auxiliary mode, press
the SNOOZE/SLEEP button repeatedly
to set the sleep timer.
When set to “OFF” the sleep
timer is turned o.

Radio, Composite Video Output, and 3.5mm Audio Input
3.5mm Audio Input
Requires a 3.5mm audio cable (not
included)
1. Connect a 3.5mm audio cable to
the 3.5mm AUDIO INPUT on the
clock and an audio output on an
MP3 player or other audio source.
2. Press the SOURCE button to
switch to auxiliary mode.
3. Use the native controls on the
connected MP3 player or other
audio source to play and control
audio played through the clock.
Using the Composite Video Output
Requires an RCA video cable (not included)
1. Connect an RCA video cable to the
COMPOSITE VIDEO OUTPUT on the
clock and a video input on a television.
2. Adjust the television to the input
mode that matches the connection
used in step 1.
3. Video played through a docked iPod
or iPhone will now play through the
connected television.

Saving a Station as a Preset
Tuning to Preset Stations
1. Press the POWER/AL OFF
button to turn the clock on.
2. Press the SOURCE button to
switch to radio mode.
3. Press the TUN +/FF/HR and TUN -/FB/
MIN buttons to tune the radio.
1. Follow the instructions for
Tuning the FM Radio.
2. Press the CLOCK SET/MEM button
to begin saving the current station.
3. Press the AL1/M- or AL2/M+
button to select a preset channel
to save the current station to.
4. Press the CLOCK SET/MEM button
to save the current FM station to
the selected preset channel.
1. Follow the instructions for
Saving a Station as a Preset.
2. Press the AL1/M- or AL2/M+ button to
cycle through saved preset stations.
