This product utilizes a Class 1 laser to read
Compact Discs. This laser Compact Disc Player is
equipped with safety switches to avoid exposure
when the CD door is open and the safety interlocks
are defeated. Invisible laser radiation is present
when the CD Player’s lid is open and the system’s
interlock has failed or been defeated. It is very
important that you avoid direct exposure to the
laser beam at all times. Please do not attempt to
defeat or bypass the safety switches.
The exclamation point within an equilateral triangle
is intended to alert the user to the presence of
important operating and maintenance (servicing)
instructions in the literature accompanying the
appliance.
The lightning ash with arrowhead symbol, within
an equilateral triangle, is intended to alert the user
to the presence of uninsulated "dangerous voltage"
within the product's enclosure that may be of
sufcient magnitude to constitute a risk of electric
shock to persons.

Setting the Clock
1 Press the POWER button to turn the
home theater system o.
2 Press the CLOCK button, on the
remote, once for AM and twice for
PM.
3 Use the NUMBER KEYPAD to enter
in the current time. You must type in
all 4 digits of the time. For example, if
it is 8:00, you would press 0, 8, 0, 0.
4 Press the SELECT button to set the
adjusted time.

IPOD
Docking an iPod
Playing an iPod Video Output from an iPod
1 Locate the numbered bracket that
ts the iPod that will be docked.
Each included Bracket has a number
on it, indicating which iPod model that
bracket is compatible with. See the
separate bracket chart page to identify
which bracket is needed.
2 Snap the bracket into place over the
iPod connector in the Dock for iPod.
All Brackets will only t one way onto
the Dock.
3 Connect the iPod to the iPod
connector inside the Dock for iPod.
4 Once an iPod is connected to the
Dock for iPod, the unit will charge
the docked iPod.
1 After your iPod is docked, press the
POWER button to turn the home
theater system on.
2 Press the SOURCE button to switch
to iPod mode.
3 Press the PLAY button to begin
playing the docked iPod.
1 Connect the home theater system to
a television using the Composite or
S-Video Setup listed on page 12.
Please note, video from a docked iPod
cannot be output to a television using
the component or HDMI video setup.
2 On your iPod, navigate to VIDEOS >
VIDEO SETTINGS and turn TV OUT
to “ON”.
3 Follow the instructions for Docking
an iPod on page 14.
4 Dock the iPod onto the home theater
system, and begin playing a video
from the docked iPod.

Playing a DVD or CD Programming a CD
Programming a DVD
1 Press the POWER button to turn the
home theater system on.
2 Press the SOURCE button to select
DVD mode.
3 Press the EJECT button to open the
DISC DRAWER.
4 Load a DVD or CD into the drawer,
label side facing up, and press the
EJECT button to close the DISC
DRAWER.
5 The loaded DVD or CD will start
playing automatically.
1 While a CD is loaded and stopped,
navigate to the on-screen EDIT
MODE button, and press the SELECT
button on the remote.
2 Use the DIRECTIONAL ()/
SELECT buttons on the remote to
highlight and select tracks to add to
the program.
A check mark will appear next to
selected tracks.
3 Navigate to the on-screen ADD TO
PROGRAM button, and press the
SELECT button.
Selected tracks will be added to the
program.
4 Navigate to the on-screen PROGRAM
VIEW button and press the SELECT
button to view the programmed
tracks.
5 Navigate to the on-screen EDIT
MODE button, and press the SELECT
button on the remote to exit EDIT
MODE.
6 Select a track from the programmed
list and press the SELECT button
to begin playing the programmed
tracks.
Navigate to the on-screen BROWSER
VIEW button and press the SELECT
button to view the entire album.
1 Begin playing a loaded DVD.
2 Press the PROG button on the
remote.
3 Enter in titles and chapters (DVD)
or tracks (CD) using the number
keypad.
Enter these in the order you wish to
watch or listen to them in.
4 Highlight the on-screen “Play”
button and press SELECT to play the
programmed titles and chapters or
tracks.
To cancel program mode, press the
STOP button twice.

Playing the AM/FM Radio
Saving an AM/FM Radio Station
Auto Scan
1 Press the POWER button to turn the
home theater system on.
2 Press the SOURCE button to select
radio mode.
3 Press the AM/FM button to switch
between AM and FM radio mode.
4 Press the TUNING buttons to adjust
the AM or FM radio station.
1 Follow the steps for Playing the AM/
FM Radio.
2 When tuned to the desired station,
press the MEMORY button on the
remote.
3 Press the MEMORY () buttons on
the remote to select a preset (ie. P01).
4 When the desired preset is chosen,
press the MEMORY button to save
the current station to the selected
preset.
5 Press the MEMORY () buttons to
cycle through preset AM or FM radio
stations.
In radio mode, you can press the AUTO
SCAN button, on the remote, to auto
scan and save radio presets.

Playing Photos or Music
Insert an SD or MMC memory card into
the memory card expansion slot as
shown in the diagram below. Only one
card can be inserted at a time.
Insert a USB Thumb Drive into the USB
Connection.
1 After inserting a USB thumb drive,
MMC memory card, or SD memory
card, press the POWER button to
turn the home theater system on.
2 Press the SOURCE button to switch
to DVD mode.
3 Press the EJECT button and remove
and discs from the DISC DRAWER.
Close the DISC DRAWER.
4 Press the DVD/SD/USB button on
the remote.
5 Press the DIRECTIONAL ()
buttons to select MEDIA.
6 Press the SELECT button on the
remote.
7 Use the DIRECTIONAL ()/
SELECT buttons to navigate through
les and folders on the loaded
memory card.
8 Press the SELECT button on the
remote to view selected JPEG photos,
or to play selected MP3 audio les.
