1. CONTENTS OF THE MANUAL
The following manual is dedicated to the
installation of the PVC cover for the logic
card of your washing machine.
For electronic timers IM9
(2952LOGIM9ST), the PVC cover is
codified as 2060705X.
For programmable microprocessors
(2952LOGIM6BL), the PVC cover is
codified as 2040806X.
This protection can be installed on all the
model of washing machine, from serial
number L200211XXX (November 2002)
to serial number L200507014 (July 2005).
The installation of this option is
recommended in case of wet
environment, or in case of water dripping
from the above.
2. INSTALLER’S INFORMATION AND
SAFETY RULES
Ignoring the following safety precautions
can cause damage either to people, linen,
animals and to the machine.
Installation and maintenance of machines
of this manual must be performed by
authorised and qualified technicians; they
have to know our products and be
acquainted with European standards for
installation of industrial laundry
equipment.
These washing machines must be used
only for professional wash of garments
and linen: any other use is forbidden
unless builder authorises it in writing.
To prevent fire hazard or explosions do
not stand near the machine with
explosive or inflammable products.
It is forbidden to put anything in the
machine other than the items to be
washed. Do not load the machine with
fabrics contaminated by dangerous
substances such as explosives,
inflammables, etc. Make sure they are
rinsed or aired before washing.
It is forbidden to wash garments soaked
in substances known to be harmful to
persons such as lead, poison or cancer-
producing products.
Please stick accurately to instructions and
dosages recommended by
manufacturers; Make sure to check and
comply with washing instructions of each
item to be washed.
Use of the machine is forbidden to
children under 14 years of age.
The builder is not responsible for external
connections not duly performed.
Remember to disconet the machine at the
end of the working day; close water,
steam and eventually gas entries. Turn
off the main switch.
The machine must be loaded with dry
linen whose weight can diverge 10% in
relation to declared capacity.
These precautions do not
include all possible risks.
Therefore the user must
proceed with caution in the
observance of all safety
specifications.

3. MANUFACTURER’S LIABILITY
This manual instructions are not intended
to substitute, but only to combine
obligations of current legislation on safety
standards.
With reference to information included in
this manual, the manufacturer is not
responsible in case of:
neglect of European safety standards
during machine utilisation;
incorrect installation of the machine;
missing of the periodically and
programmed maintenance operation;
neglect or incorrect observance of
instructions included in this manual;
faults of voltage or of the feeding
systems;
unauthorised changes on the
machine;
utilisation of the machine by
unauthorised operators.
4. INSTALLING THE PVC PLASTIC
COVER
The plastic cover is already cutted and
shaped due to the logic card type.
The PVC sheet has to be mounted
between the back side of the machine’s
front and the plastic spacer of the logic
card. With this method the water can’t
touch directly the electronic components
of the control board.
It’s necessary to remove the whole
control card unit with its spacer (see the
following picture).
Spread a small strip of sealing glue just
below the axis of the holes.
Insert the PVC cover into the two higher
bolts, the sealing glue has to touch the
stainless steal of the panel. (see the
following picture).
Insert the four spacers into the fixing bolts
and later the control card unit, at the end
close the four nuts as in the beginning.
It’s also possible to shape the PVC sheet
for creating an adequate slope to the
ground. It will allow to keep out the further
dripping from the card (see following
picture).

6. KEYPAD’S FLAT CABLE SAFETY
INSTALLATION
It’s also possible to increase the lifetime
of the keypad which controls the logic
card unit.
The transparent flat cable that connect
the keypad to the logic card passes
through a hole at the front of the machine.
The vibrations can induce an estreme
friction between the parts, as
consequence the flat cable could break.
It’s possible to avoid the friction by
sticking a special sponge cushion
between the flat lower surface and the
stainless steel panel.
The sponge is supplied together with the
PVC cover for the logic card.
See next picture for a correct installation.
