Attenzione: Leggere attentamente queste istruzioni e le avvertenze di sicurezza
prima di usare il frigorifero.
DESCRIZIONE
I TB15-TB18 sono frigoriferi professionali allacciabili esclusivamente all'interno di un autoveicolo. Funzionano
con tensione di alimentazione in corrente continua, a 12-24 VDC prelevabile direttamente dalla presa
dell'accendi sigari, posta nell'abitacolo dell'autoveicolo stesso.
Prevedono il funzionamento sia come frigorifero che come freezer.
Sono composti da:
- una struttura esterna in materiale plastico;
- un portello di accesso al vano interno, in materiale plastico;
- un vano interno coibentato, di contenimento prodotti;
- un'unità refrigerante a compressore;
- un pannello di controllo;
- un cavo di alimentazione.
Sono inoltre dotati di tracolla, per essere agevolmente trasportati ed utilizzati, dopo aver scollegato il cavo
di alimentazione, anche all'esterno.

INSTALLAZIONE
- Porre il frigorifero su una supercie asciutta, protetta e lontana da spigoli. Non usare il frigorifero in zone
scoperte, all’aperto o esposto ad agenti atmosferici.
- Il frigorifero necessita di una buona ventilazione. Lasciare uno spazio di almeno 15 cm su tutti i lati.
- Evitare di porre il frigorifero vicino a una fonte di calore quale ad esempio un fornello, un radiatore o sotto
la luce diretta del sole.
- Per un'installazione ssa all'interno del veicolo e per evitare danneggiamenti dell'apparecchio durante
il trasporto si consiglia di ancorare il frigorifero tramite le staffe metalliche poste sui lati.
- Evitare l’introduzione di ghiaccio o liquidi non protetti da contenitori chiusi.
- Evitare l’introduzione di prodotti caldi.
ALLACCIAmENTO DEL fRIgORIfERO NEL vEICOLO
Per l'utilizzo del frigorifero all'interno del veicolo, è necessario che venga saldamente ssato nell'abitacolo
utilizzando un Kit composto da apposite cintura e staffa, fornito separatamente come optional.
Il frigorifero è dotato di un cavo di alimentazione con apposita spina, che dev'essere collegata alla presa
dell'accendisigari.
In caso in cui non venga utilizzato il suddetto cavo, ma l'alimentazione venga prelevata direttamente
dalla batteria dell'autoveicolo, utilizzare cavi di adeguata sezione e lunghezza (vedi tabella seguente) e
proteggere la linea con un fusibile da 10 Ampere.

pRImA ACCENSIONE
Per accendere il frigorifero premere il tasto 1.
Il compressore si pone in stato di ON con impostazione predenita
dal costruttore.
La temperatura visualizzata sul display è in gradi centigradi e
corrisponde, in caso di prima accensione, alla temperatura ambiente.
Si inserisce automaticamente la funzione ECO, descritta nei paragra
successivi, ed il valore di Rpm del compressore si assesta sui 2000
giri.

ImpOSTAZIONE DELLA TEmpERATURA DEL vANO REfRIgERANTE
Per aumentare la temperatura del vano refrigerante premere il pulsante 7no ad ottenere sul display il
valore desiderato.
Per diminuire la temperatura del vano refrigerante premere il pulsante 6no ad ottenere sul display il valore
desiderato.
Fino ad una successiva variazione, il frigorifero manterrà il valore impostato.
fUNZIONE "ECO" O "ITC"
Premendo il tasto 2si attivano in alternativa le funzione ECO o ITC. Quando una delle due funzioni è attivata
il led corrispondente sotto il display si accende.
Con la funzione ECO attivata il frigorifero funziona al minimo della potenza, in modalità risparmio energetico;
il compressore funziona a 2000 rpm.
Con la funzione ITC attivata vengono variati i numeri di giri del compressore, a seconda del voltaggio più
o meno alto e il vano refrigerato è sotto-raffreddato di 1°C rispetto la temperatura impostata.
Se la tensione è ≥ di 13V o 26V il compressore sotto-raffredda accumulando freddo (il valore di
sottoraffreddamento è reimpostato a -1°C rispetto alla temperatura selezionata). A motore acceso il
compressore lavora automaticamente al numero massimo di giri/ rpm.
Se la tensione è ≤ di 12V o 25V (a motore spento il frigorifero preleva tensione dalla batteria) il compressore
ottimizza il numero di giri/rpm in funzione della temperatura selezionata.
fUNZIONE "O.C." (OvER-COOLINg)
Si attiva solamente con funzione ITC inserita e funziona secondo la seguente logica: se si e’ in presenza
di voltaggio alto (motore del veicolo acceso), il frigorifero sotto-raffredda di 3°C rispetto alla temperatura
impostata e non arriva mai a temperature negative (sotto i 0°C) se è selezionata una temperatura positiva/
superiore a 0°C (ovvero se l’apparecchio è utilizzato come frigorifero e non come freezer).

mENU ImpOSTAZIONI
Il frigorifero prevede un menù impostazioni, all'interno del quale è possibile modicare valori e soglie
impostate dal costruttore; precisamente:
1 (PRO) Livello di protezione della batteria
2 (OFS) Valore di OFF-SET
3 (F-C) Impostazione dei gradi Fahrenheit o Centigradi
4 (O-C) Funzione di Over-Cooling
Per entrare all’interno del menù, premere contemporaneamente i tasti 2-6-7 per alcuni secondi, a frigorifero
alimentato ma spento.
Per scorrere le varie funzioni all'interno del menù, utilizzare i tasti 6 e 7, per modicare il parametro della
funzione scelta premere il tasto 2, il valore inizierà a lampeggiare, quindi impostare quello desiderato sempre
con i tasti 6 e 7. Il nuovo valore rimarrà memorizzato.
Se nessun tasto viene premuto, si esce automaticamente dalla modalità menù.

È possibile impostare tre differenti livelli di soglia di protezione della batteria:

vALORE DI Off-SET
Per valore di OFF-SET, si intende la differenza tra la temperatura all'interno del vano refrigerato e la
temperatura impostata e visualizzata sul display.
È possibile impostare tre differenti livelli di OFF-SET a seconda della temperatura impostata sul display.
Il valore di OFF-SET consigliato è di 2°C, al ne di ottenere temperature all'interno del vano refrigerato che
corrispondano alle temperature visualizzate sul display.
Nota: si consiglia di non modificare i valori di OFF-SET pre-impostati.
•Per temperature maggiori di -6°C impostare il valore
su OF1 che fornirà una differenza massima tra la
temperatura del vano e la temperatura sul display
di 2°C
•Per temperature comprese tra i -7°C e i -12°C
impostare il valore su OF2 che fornirà una differenza
massima tra la temperatura del vano e la temperatura
sul display di 4°C
•Per temperature minori di -13°C impostare il valore
su OF3 che fornirà una differenza massima tra la
temperatura del vano e la temperatura sul display
di 4°C

Per impostare l'unità di misura della temperatura in
gradi Fahrenheit o Centigradi, attivare i simboli Fo C
OvER - COOLINg
La funzione Over - Cooling, descritta in precedenza,
è impostabile attivando i simboli O C.
ERRORI
Eventuali errori di funzionamento vengono visualizzati dopo un tempo di 90 secondi e vengono indicati sul
display con i seguenti codici:
1il termostato è in corto circuito o non connesso correttamente alla centralina: R6
2Il compressore è bloccato: R3
3Il ventilatore invia alla centralina un valore superiore ai 0,6A: R2
4Il sistema refrigerante è troppo carico di gas e il compressore non riesce a funzionare
al minimo di giri rpm :
R4
5La temperatura ambiente è troppo alta: R5
6Tensione insufciente (Volts sotto il valore di cut-out) : LO
7Mancata comunicazione tra il display e la centralina, sul DISPLAY appare la linea
orizzontale in scorrimento per alcuni secondi, il frigorifero si spegne.

CONSIgLI UTILI
Utilizzare il prodotto in modalità ECO nei seguenti casi:
- quando il prodotto è utilizzato come frigorifero e, in modo particolare, a temperature ambiente non
elevate;
- quando il veicolo è parcheggiato per lunghe soste (con motore spento).
RIEmpImENTO
Evitare l’introduzione nel frigo di cibi caldi. Posizionare i prodotti in modo da evitare sbattimento o rottura
durante il movimento del veicolo.
Assicurarsi che il coperchio sia sempre ben chiuso e ridurre al minimo il tempo di apertura.
mANUTENZIONE
Attenzione
Prima di effettuare qualsiasi intervento di manutenzione sul frigorifero, staccare il cavo di
alimentazione dalla relativa presa.
pULIZIA
Pulire periodicamente l’interno del frigo impiegando bicarbonato di sodio sciolto in acqua tiepida.
Evitare in ogni caso l’uso di prodotti abrasivi, detergenti o saponi; dopo il lavaggio risciacquare con acqua
pulita e asciugare con cura.
In caso di non utilizzo, pulire ed asciugare accuratamente l’interno onde evitare formazione di muffe e
cattivi odori.
CONSIgLI UTILI
In caso di mancato o anomalo funzionamento prima di rivolgersi ad un nostro centro di assistenza tecnica
assicurarsi che:
a) non manchi tensione di alimentazione.
b) la tensione sia corrispondente a quella indicata nella targhetta.
c) i collegamenti e le polarità siano corrette.
d) le griglie di aerazione non siamo ostruite.
e) il gruppo frigo non sia posto vicino ad una fonte di calore.
f) il fusibile della linea di alimentazione non sia interrotto.
Attenzione
Il cavo di alimentazione deve essere sostituito esclusivamente da personale tecnico qualicato e comunque
da un servizio di assistenza autorizzato dal Costruttore.
Indel B declina ogni responsabilità qualora non vengano scrupolosamente rispettate tutte le
disposizioni contenute nel presente manuale.

Caution: Read the instructions and safety warnings carefully before using the refrigerator.
DESCRIpTION
The TB15-TB18 represent professional refrigerators that can only be attached to the inside of motor vehicles.
They are powered by a 12-24 VDC direct-power supply, which can be accessed directly from the cigarette
lighter, found in the passenger compartment of the vehicle itself.
They can be used both as refrigerators and freezers.
They are made up of a:
- plastic external structure;
- plastic internal compartment access door;
- internal, insulated compartment, for holding products;
- compressor cooling unit;
- control panel;
- power cable.
They are also equipped with a strap, so that they can be easily transported and used even outside, after
having disconnected the power cable.

INSTALLATION
- Place the refrigerator on a dry, protected surface, away from corners. Do not use the refrigerator in
uncovered, outdoor areas or areas exposed to the elements.
- The refrigerator requires good ventilation. Leave a space of at least 15 cm across all its sides.
- Avoid placing the refrigerator near to a heat source, for example, a cooker, radiator or exposing it to
direct sunlight.
- To ensure xed installation within the vehicle and to avoid damaging the appliance during transportation,
we recommend xing the refrigerator using metal brackets, placed on its sides.
- Do not place ice or liquids which are not sealed in containers within the refrigerator.
- Do not place hot products within the refrigerator.
ATTAChmENT Of ThE REfRIgERATOR IN ThE vEhICLE
In order to use the refrigerator within the vehicle, you must rmly x it in the compartment using a Kit which
includes relevant strap and brackets, supplied separately as an option.
The refrigerator is equipped with relative plug, which must be connected to the cigarette lighter outlet.
In the instance where the above mentioned cable is not used and the supply comes directly from the
vehicle battery, use cables with suitable sections and lengths (see following table) and protect the line
with a 10 Amp fuse.

INITIAL SWITCh-ON
Press key 1to switch on the refrigerator.
The compressor enters ON mode according to the manufacturer's
default settings.
The temperature presented on the display appears in centigrade and
corresponds with, in the case of the initial switch-on, the ambient
temperature.
The ECO function automatically initiates, which is described in the
following paragraphs, and the compressor rpm value adjusts itself
every 2,000 revolutions.

SETTINg ThE COOLINg COmpARTmENT TEmpERATURE
To increase the temperature of the cooling compartment press key 7until the desired value appears on
the display.
To decrease the temperature of the cooling compartment, press key 6until the desired value appears on
the display.
The refrigerator will maintain this set value up until it is modied once again.
ECO" OR "ITC" fUNCTION
The ECO or ITC functions will alternatively activate upon pressing key 2. When one of the two functions is
active, the corresponding LED, under the display, will light up.
With the ECO function active, the refrigerator works at minimum power, in energy-saving mode; the
compressor works at 2,000 rpm.
With the ITC function active, the number of compressor revolutions is varied according to the voltage and
the cooled compartment is sub-cooled by 1°C when compared to the set temperature.
Where the voltage is ≥ than 13 V or 26 V, the compressor sub-cools amassing the cold air (the sub-cooling
value is re-set to -1°C when compared to the temperature selected). With the motor on, the compressor
automatically works at the maximum number of revolutions/rpm.
Where the voltage is ≤ than 12 V or 25 V (with the motor off, the compressor draws voltage from the battery)
the compressor optimises the number of revolutions/rpm dependent on the temperature selected.
"O.C." (OvER-COOLINg) fUNCTION
It is only activated with the ITC function on and only operates according to the following logic: where the
voltage is high (vehicle motor on), the refrigerator sub-cools 3°C when compared to the set temperature and
it never reaches sub-zero temperatures (under 0°C) where a positive/higher temperature to 0°C is selected
(that is where the appliance is used as a refrigerator and not a freezer).

SETTINgS mENU
The refrigerator includes a settings menu, from where it is possible to modify values and thresholds set by
the manufacturer, more specically:
1 (PRO) Battery protection level
2 (OFS) OFF-SET value
3 (F-C) Fahrenheit or Centigrade settings
4 (O-C) Over-Cooling function
To access the menu, press, with the refrigerator powered but off, keys 2-6-7 at the same time for a few
moments.
To scroll through the various functions within the menu, use keys 6 and 7, to change the parameters of the
selected function, press key 2, the value will begin to ash, set the desired value, again using keys 6 and
7. The new value will be saved.
If no keys are pressed, you will automatically exit the menu mode.

Off-SET vALUE
The OFF-SET value refers to the difference between the temperature inside the cooling compartment and
the temperature set and presented on the display.
It is possible to set three different OFF-SET levels dependent on the temperature set on the display. The
recommended OFF-SET value is 2°C, in order to achieve a temperature within the cooling compartment
which corresponds with the temperatures presented on the display.
Note: we do not recommend modifying the preset OFF-SET values.
• Withtemperaturesgreater than -6°C, set the value
to OF1 which will provide a maximum difference of
2°C between the compartment temperature and the
temperature on the display
• Withtemperaturesbetween -7°C and -12°C, set the
value to OF2 which will provide a maximum difference
of 4°C between the compartment temperature and the
temperature on the display
• With temperatures inferior to -13°C, set the value
to OF3 which will provide a maximum difference of
4°C between the compartment temperature and the
temperature on the display

Fahrenheit or Centigrade, activate symbols For C
OvER - COOLINg
The Over - Cooling function, described above, is set
by activating symbols O C.
fAULTS
Any operation faults will be displayed after 90 seconds and will be presented on the display with the
following codes:
1The thermostat has short-circuited or is not correctly connected to the control unit: R6
2The compressor is blocked: R3
3The ventilator is sending the control unit a value which exceeds 0.6A: R2
4The cooling system holds too much gas and the compressor is not able to operate
at the minimum number of revolutions/rpm:
R4
5The ambient temperature is too high: R5
6Insufcient voltage (Voltage below the cut-out value): LO
7No communication between the display and control unit, a scrolling horizontal
line appears on the DISPLAY for a few seconds, the refrigerator turns itself off.

hELpfUL ADvICE
Use the product in ECO mode in the following cases:
- when the product is used as a refrigerator and, particularly, where the ambient temperature is not high;
- when the vehicle is parked for extended time frames (with motor off).
REpLENIShmENT
Avoid placing hot food in the refrigerator. Place the products so that they do not knock against each other
or break when the vehicle is in motion.
Ensure that the lid is always rmly on and reduce the time it is left open to the minimum possible.
mAINTENANCE
Caution
Before carrying out any maintenance operations on the refrigerator, disconnect the power cable
from the plug..
CLEANINg
Regularly clean the inside of the refrigerator using baking soda dissolved in warm water.
Do not, in any case, use abrasive products, detergents or soaps; after washing, rinse with clean water and
carefully dry.
Where the refrigerator is not being used, thoroughly clean and dry the inside in order to avoid the formation
of mould or foul odours.
hELpfUL ADvICE
Where the refrigerator does not function or functions incorrectly, before contacting one of our technical
assistance centres, ensure that:
a) there is a power supply.
b) the voltage complies with that indicated on the plate.
c) the connections and poles are correct.
d) the ventilation grids are not obstructed.
e) the fridge unit is not placed near to a heat source.
f) the power supply fuse is not interrupted.
Caution
The power cable must only be replaced by qualied technical personnel and by an assistance body
authorised by the Manufacturer.
Indel B will not assume any responsibility in the instance where the instructions in this present
manual are not fully respected.
