erden und zu kennzeichnen.

Wichtige Sicherheitshinweise Prüfen Sie vor Inbetriebnahme des PROmesh U16, ob er sich äußerlich in einwandfrei-
em Zustand befindet. Beachten Sie stets die technische Spezifikation des Geräts, um
den sicheren und optimalen Einsatz sicherzustellen. Der PROmesh U16 wurde für die
Schutzumgebungen nach IP40 entwickelt. Treffen Sie geeignete Maßnahmen bei abwei-
chendem Einsatzumfeld, um den ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb des Geräts sicherzustellen.
Bei einem vermuteten Schaden, senden Sie den PROmesh U16 bitte umgehend an Ihren
Lieferanten zurück und nehmen Sie das Gerät nicht in Betrieb.
Öffnen Sie keinesfalls das Gehäuse. Unautorisiertes Öffnen des Gehäuses führt zum
Erlöschen jeglicher Garantieansprüche.
Der PROmesh U16 wurde für den Einsatz in PROFINET Anwendungen nach Conformance
Class A entwickelt.
Montage auf der Hutschiene Montieren Sie den PROmesh U16 aufrecht im Schaltschrank auf einer horizontal ange-
ordneten 35 mm-Hutschiene (DIN EN 60715).

Stromversorgung Der PROmesh U16 wird mit einer Gleichspannung von 24 VDC betrieben. Schließen Sie
eine geeignete Spannungsquelle an den entsprechend beschrifteten Anschlüssen des
5-Pin 2,5 mm2Klemmanschluss an. Schließen Sie hierzu die Plusleitung an an den V+
Kontakt sowie die Minusleitung an den dazugehörigen V- Kontakt an.
Bei korrektem Anschluss und Aktivierung der externen Spannungsversorgung, leuchten
alle Status LEDs des PROmesh U16 kurz auf. Nach einer kurzen Initialisierungsphase
erlöschen die LEDs und das Gerät ist betriebsbereit.
Montieren Sie den PROmesh U16 nicht direkt neben Geräten, die starke elektromagneti-
sche Störfelder erzeugen oder ständig Wärme an ihre Umgebung abgeben.
Schützen Sie den PROmesh U16 außerdem vor intensiver Sonneneinstrahlung.

Safety Instructions Before putting the PROmesh U16 into operation, check whether it is in perfect condi-
tion externally. Always observe the technical specifications of the device to ensure safe
and optimal use. The PROmesh U16 is designed for IP40 protection environments. Take
appropriate measures to ensure proper operation of the unit in a different environment.
In case of suspected damage, please return the PROmesh U16 immediately to your
supplier and do not put it into operation.
Do not open the housing under any circumstances. Unauthorized opening of the
housing will void any warranty claims.
The PROmesh U16 is designed for use in PROFINET applications according to Confor-
mance Class A.
Mounting on the DIN Rail Mount the PROmesh U16 upright in the switch cabinet on a 35 mm DIN rail
(DIN EN 60715).
Power Supply The PROmesh U16 is operated with a DC voltage of 24 VDC, Connect a suitable power
source to the labeled terminals of the 5-pin 2,5 mm2terminal block. Connect the posi-
tive lead to the V+ contact and the ammunition lead to the corresponding V- contact.
If the external power supply is correctly connected and activated, all status LEDs of the
PROmesh U16 will light up briefly. After a short initialization phase the LEDs go out and
the device is ready for operation.

magnetic interference fields or constantly emit heat to their surroundings. Also protect
the PROmesh U16 from intense sunlight.
