OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
LED Indicator

WARNING
1. Use ONLY with properly matched LI-ION/POLYMER
BATTERYPACK.
Please make sure your battery voltage is matched with your
charger label(11.1V). IF NOT, THIS CHARGERWILL NOT
CHARGE AND/OR YOUR BATTERY WILL BE DAMAGED.
2. Never charge other types of batteries such as NiMH/NiCd
battery or a lead-acid battery pack, as this may cause property
damage or even personal injury.
3. This battery charger is for indoor use only, NEVER EXPOSE
the charger to rain or snow.
4. High Voltage, dangerous inside, DO NOT OPENTHE COVER.
5. Unplug this product from the wall outlet and refer servicing to
qualified service personnel under the following conditions:
a) When the power cord or plug is damaged or frayed.
b) If liquid has been spilled into the charger.
c) If the charger casing has been dropped and or damaged.
d) If the charger does not operate normally when the operating
instructions are followed.
6. Make sure good ventilation is provided when charger is
operating. Don’t place the charger near a radiator, heat register
or a similar heat source when charging.
•Operation and Setup
See Fig. 1, connectAC power plug to wall outlet, LED will be
green. Connect DC battery plug to SL-RAT charge port, LED will
be red. When charging is finished (it will take up to
approximately 3 hours). LED will change to green automatically.
DisconnectAC plug from wall and DC plug from SL-RAT.
Charging is complete.
•Brief Introduction
The InfoSense SL-RAT charger is a smart battery charger designed
for 11.1V Li-ion/Polymer battery. This deviceuses an operate-
amplifier to control charge and maintenance charge your Li-
ion/Polymer battery automatically. The red light on the LED indicates
when it is in the main chargingstage. The green light indicates
chargingis complete and to enter the maintenance mode stage
(trickle charging). The charger will enter tricklemode when the
charge is less than 1/10 of the charging current or if it is on the high-
level constantvoltagestage.
