DESCRIPTION
Use this screw to mount a device, such as
a studio light, ash head, or umbrella
bracket.
Note: Some studio ash heads or umbrella
brackets slide all the way over this mount area
and fasten in place with a locking clamp.
• Tighten to lock each section in place.
• Loosen to extend or shorten each
section.
• Tighten to lock the leg positions.
• Loosen to position the legs.
• Tighten to lock the leg extensions.
• Loosen to extend or shorten the leg
extensions.

6Loosen each section knob, then extend each section to the length
you want and tighten the knobs.

USING YOUR LIGHT STAND
1Loosen the leg position knob.
2Pull outward on the legs and set upright.
3Move the legs to the position you want, then tighten the leg
position knob.
4Loosen each leg extension knob, then extend the legs to the length
that you want and tighten the knobs.
5Attach your studio light, ash head, umbrella, or other device to the
mounting screw.
