Hair Straightener Brush
OPERATION
DANGER:
As with most electrical appliances, electrical parts
are electrically live even when the switch is in the
“OFF” position.
To reduce the risk of serious injury
by electric shock:
1. Always unplug the appliance immediately after
using.
2. Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,
showers, basins or other vessels containing
water.
3. If appliance falls into water, unplug it
immediately. Do not reach into the water.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of
burns, electrocution, fire, or injury to
persons:
1. An appliance should never be left unattended
when plugged in.
2. Close supervision is necessary when this
appliance is used by, on, or near children or
individuals with certain disabilities.
3. Use this appliance only for its intended use as
described in this manual. Do not use
attachments not recommended by the
manufacturer.
4. Never operate this appliance if it has been
dropped, damaged, or dropped into water.
5. Keep the cord away from heated surfaces.
6. Do not wrap the cord around the appliance. .
7. Do not use an extension cord with this
appliance.
8. The InStyler® Straight Away™ Hair Straightener
Brush is hot when in use. Do not let eyes and
bare skin touch heated surfaces.
9. Do not use the appliance with any voltage
converter.
10.Do not use this appliance near bathtubs,
showers, basins or other vessels containing
water.
11. Never use while sleeping.
12.Do not use outdoors or operate where aerosol
(spray) products are being used or where
oxygen is being administered.
13.Do not place this appliance directly on any
surface while it is hot or plugged in.
14.Before using the appliance, no flammable
materials such as hairspray, styling mousse
etc. should be applied to your hair, as these
may ignite when in contact with the brush.
15.DO NOT subject this product to excessive
force or shock that may result in malfunction,
shorter lifespan or distorted parts.
16.If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent
or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
IMPORTANT:
1. The appliance is not intended for use by
persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack
of experience and knowledge, unless they
have been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
2. Children should be supervised to ensure that
they do not play with the appliance.
3. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by manufacturer, its service agent or
similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a
hazard.
4. This appliance can only be used on dry natural
hair.
5. It should not be used on artificial hair.
6. It should not be used to straighten the hair of
pets.
7. When the appliance is used for the first time,
there may be a slight burnt smell or steam,
which may be generated from remaining
moisture or oil on metal parts of the appliance
and will disappear in a few seconds.

Basic directions
1. Plug in the InStyler®Straight Away™Hair
Straightener Brush
2. Press power button for three seconds
3. Select/adjust temperature by pressing the “+”
or “–“ temperature selection buttons – see
“Temperature Selection” section below.
Note: It will take +/- 3-4 minutes for the
InStyler®Straight Away™Hair Straightener
Brush to heat up to the default temperature
(180°C) after turning it on.
4. Use on dry hair only.
5. Brush the hair through entirely with the brush
to provide smoother passes, avoid tangles and
achieve a smoother, shinier, softer style.
Storage
Be sure to check the following before storing :
• Turn the ON/OFF switch off, and unplug.
• Be sure the brush has cooled off.
• Do not wrap cord around the InStyler®Straight
Away™Hair Straightener Brush

Your warranty does not cover:
• Components that are subject to natural wear
and tear caused by normal use in accordance
with operating instructions.
• Unauthorised/improper maintenance/handling
or overload is excluded from this warranty. • For
guarantee claims, you will need to submit a proof
of purchase in the form of a valid receipt that
displays date and place of purchase.
This warranty does not replace but is in addition
to your statutory rights. This warranty does not
apply to accessories supplied with the item. This
warranty applies only to the original purchaser
and may not be transferred. Replacement items
will be covered by the limited warranty for the
balance of the warranty period from the date of
the original purchase.
Please note: Only the defective product or parts
returned to place of purchase will be replaced
under this warranty

REPLACEMENT WARRANTY
STATEMENT
If your product becomes defective due to faulty
material or workmanship within a period of 1 year
from the date of purchase, we warrant to do the
following:
• For New Zealand Consumers: We will replace
the product with a new product, free of charge,
or repair the product at our cost, at our
discretion.
• For Australian Consumers: Our goods come
with guarantees that cannot be excluded under
the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled
to a replacement or refund for a major failure
and for compensation for any other reasonably
foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced
if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and
the failure does not amount to a major failure.
Your warranty is subject to the following
conditions:
• DO NOT operate the appliance with a damaged
plug or cord, or if the unit has been dropped,
damaged or dropped in water. To avoid the risk
of electric shock, do not disassemble or
attempt to repair the appliance on your own. If
the supply cord is damaged, it must be
replaced by a qualified electrician in order
to avoid a hazard. Incorrect re-assembly or
repair can cause a risk of electric shock or
injury to persons when the appliance is used.

DIRECTIONS
FOR STYLING
TIPS:
• Make sure you brush slowly and your hair
penetrates deep into the bristles!
• Depending upon your hair type,
experiment with different heat settings for
optimal results.
Temperature selection
1. The default temperature setting of the InStyler®
Straight Away™Hair Straightener Brush is set to
180°C. Adjust/select the temperature level by
pressing the “+” or “–“ temperature selection
buttons based on your preference/ hair type.
2. Every press of temperature selection buttons
will change the temperature by 5ºC.
3. Recommended temperature settings
• Fine, thin hair: 140ºC - 150ºC
• Bleached or dyed hair: 150ºC - 160ºC
• Normal and slightly curly hair: 160ºC - 180ºC
• Thick, curly or coarse hair: 190ºC -205ºC
For safety, turn the ON/OF switch off and
unplug after use.
1. Use the InStyler®Straight Away™Hair
Straightener Brush on DRY brushed hair
2. Divide the hair into sections, and once the
brush has heated up to your desired
temperature run the brush through your
sectioned hair ensuring it runs deep through
the bristles.
3. Brush slowly to ensure maximum heat is
absorbed into the hair. Straighten from the root
to the end of your hair in a slow pulling motion.
You can use InStyler®Straight Away™Brush on
the inner or outer side of your hair.
4. While getting used to the new technology, start
with small sections until you become more
comfortable with the tool.
Care
• Always unplug the InStyler®Straight Away™Hair
Straightener Brush and let it cool down before
cleaning.
• Do not rinse with water. It may damage the
InStyler®Straight Away™Hair Straightener
Brush.
• Clean with soft damp cloth once the unit has
cooled down.
• Do not use products that include benzene
and/or paint thinner for it may damage the
InStyler®Straight Away™Hair Straightener Brush.
• Clean often to avoid collecting dust and hair.
