La presente garantía cubre este producto por 3 años contra cualquier defecto de fabricación en sus materiales
y mano de obra, bajo las siguientes condiciones:
1. Todos los productos a que se reere esta garantía, ampara su cambio físico, sin ningún cargo para el
consumidor.
2. El comercializador no tiene talleres de servicio, debido a que los productos que se garantizan no cuentan
con reparaciones, ni refacciones, ya que su garantía es de cambio físico.
3. La garantía cubre exclusivamente aquellas partes, equipos o sub-ensambles que hayan sido instaladas
de fábrica y no incluye en ningún caso el equipo adicional o cualesquiera que hayan sido adicionados al
mismo por el usuario o distribuidor.
Para hacer efectiva esta garantía bastará con presentar el producto al distribuidor en el domicilio donde fue
adquirido o en el domicilio de IC Intracom México, S.A.P.I. de C.V., junto con los accesorios contenidos en su
empaque, acompañado de su póliza debidamente llenada y sellada por la casa vendedora (indispensable el
sello y fecha de compra) donde lo adquirió, o bien, la factura o ticket de compra original donde se mencione
claramente el modelo, número de serie (cuando aplique) y fecha de adquisición. Esta garantía no es válida en
los siguientes casos: Si el producto se hubiese utilizado en condiciones distintas a las normales; si el producto
no ha sido operado conforme a los instructivos de uso; o si el producto ha sido alterado o tratado de ser
reparado por el consumidor o terceras personas.

Before using
*Insert 9v battery (not included).
• Table Y shows the LEDs that light based on the cable type tested. Table Z describes the readings.

Loopback / Remote Test
1 Connect both ends of the RJ45 cable to the Base unit (A and B). If testing on a patch panel or wall plate, connect the base to the
wall plate or patch panel, and then connect the Remote unit (C) to the back of the plate or patch panel.
2 Turn on the cable tester.
3 Set the toggle to AUTO for the tester to quickly cycle through the pins and their corresponding LEDs. Set the toggle to
MANUAL and repeatedly press the TEST button to advance through pins.
4 Refer to the tables above for a description of the LED indicators.
10Base-2 Cable Test
Plug the RJ45 connectors into the jacks on the tester. Then, connect the BNC adapter cables on both ends of the BNC connectors.
Follow the instructions above from steps 2 to 4. To correct cable gender issues, use the included adapters.
Note: The center pin on the BNC connector should be read on LED #1 and the shielding pin should be read on LED #2. Intellinet
recommends reading the LED scan through Manual mode by pressing the TEST button.
Modular Cable Test
To test RJ11 and RJ12 cables, follow the same instructions as the Loopback and Remote Test above. Refer to the tables above
for a description of the LED indicators.

Loopback-Tests
1 Schließen Sie beide Enden des RJ45-Kabels an die Basiseinheit an (A & B). Für den Test eines Patchpanels oder einer Wanddose
schließen Sie die Basiseinheit an die Wanddose oder das Patchpanel an und schließen Sie dann eine der Remote-Einheiten (C)
an die Rückseite der Wanddose oder des Patchpanels an.
2Schalten Sie den Kabeltester ein.
3 Stellen Sie den Schalter auf AUTO, um durch die Pins und die entsprechenden LEDs zu schalten. Stellen Sie den Schalter auf
MANUAL und drücken Sie wiederholt auf den Test-Knopf, um durch die Pins zu schalten.
4 In der Übersicht auf der vorherigen Seite nden Sie die Bedeutungen der jeweiligen LEDs.
10Base-2 Kabeltests
Schließen Sie die RJ45-Stecker an die Buchsen des Testers an. Schließen Sie dann die BNC-Adapterkabel an beide Enden des BNC-
Steckers an. Führen Sie die obenstehenden Schritte 2 bis 4 durch. Verwenden Sie je nach Stecker-/Buchsen-Anschlussbedarf den
beiliegenden BNC-Adapter.
Hinweis: Der mittlere Pin an dem BNC-Stecker sollte auf LED #1 zu lesen sein und der Schirmungs-Pin auf LED #2. Intellinet emp-
ehlt den LED-Scan über den manuellen Modus („MANUAL“) durch Drücken der TEST-Taste.
Modularer Kabeltest
Um RJ11- und RJ12-Kabel zu testen, führen Sie die die gleichen Schritte wie im obenstehenden Loopback- und Remote Test
durch. In der Übersicht auf der vorherigen Seite nden Sie die Bedeutungen der jeweiligen LEDs.

Prueba de Loopback
1Conecte ambos extremos del cable RJ45 a la base de la unidad (A y B). Si prueba en un pánel de parcheo o un puerto de pared,
conecte la base a cualquiera de estos y conecte la unidad remota (C) al otro lado del pánel o del puerto de pared.
2Encienda el probador del cable.
3 Coloque el interruptor en AUTO para que el probador haga una prueba en los diferentes pines, indicándolo en cada uno de sus
pines. Coloque el interruptor en MANUAL y presione repetidamente el botón de prueba para avanzar entre los pines.
4 Revise la tabla para la descripción de los indicadores LED.
Prueba de cable 10Base-2
Conecte los conectores RJ45 en los jacks del probador. Luego conecte los cables adaptadores BNC en ambos extremos de los
conectores BNC.
Nota: El pin central en el conector BNC deberá ser leído en el LED #1 y el pin de blindaje deberá ser leído en el LED #2. Intellinet
recomienda la lectura del escaneo LED en modo Manual, presionando el botón TEST.
Prueba de cable modular
Para probar cables RJ11 y RJ12, siga las mismas instrucciones que las pruebas de Loopback y Remota. Revise la tabla para la

Avant utilisation

Test de Rebouclage
1 Si vous eectuez un test de rebouclage, connectez les deux extrémités du câble RJ45 à l’unité de base (A et B). Si vous eectuez
un test sur une platine de brassage ou une plaque murale, connectez la base à cette dernière, puis connectez l’unité distante (C)
à l’arrière de la plaque ou de la platine de brassage.
2Allumez le testeur de câbles.
3 Réglez le commutateur sur AUTO pour le testeur an de parcourir rapidement les broches et les DEL correspondantes. Réglez le
commutateur sur MANUAL et appuyez à plusieurs reprises sur le bouton de test pour progresser dans les broches.
4 Pour obtenir une description des voyants DEL, consultez le graphique.
Test du câble 10Base-2
Branchez les connecteurs RJ45 dans les prises jacks du testeur. Puis connectez les câbles de l’adaptateur BNC aux deux extrémités
des connecteurs BNC. Suivez les instructions ci-dessus, des étapes 2 à 4. Pour résoudre les problèmes de type de câble (mâle/
femelle), utilisez les adaptateurs fournis.
Note : la broche centrale du connecteur BNC devrait être lue sur la LED #1, et la broche de blindage devrait être lue sur la LED #2.
Intellinet recommande la lecture du scan LED en mode Manuel, en pressant le bouton TEST.
Test de câble modulaire

Test di Loopback

2 Accendere il tester.
3 Impostare l’interruttore su AUTO per lo scorrimento rapido attraverso i pin e i loro LED corrispondenti. Impostare l’interruttore
su MANUAL e premere ripetutamente il pulsante di prova per avanzare attraverso i pin.
4 Vedere il graco per la descrizione degli indicatori LED.
Test Cavo 10Base2
Inserire i connettori RJ45 nelle prese del tester. Quindi, collegare i cavi adattatori BNC su entrambe le estremità dei connettori BNC.
Seguire le istruzioni di cui sopra dal punto 2 al punto 4. Per cambiare tipo di connettore del cavo utilizzare gli adattatori inclusi.
Nota: Il pin centrale sul connettore BNC dovrebbe essere letto sul LED # 1 ed il pin di schermatura dovrebbe essere letto sul LED #
2. Intellinet raccomanda di leggere la scansione LED attraverso la modalità manuale, premendo il pulsante TEST.
Test Cavo Modulare
Per testare i cavi RJ11 e RJ12, seguire le stesse istruzioni come da test di loopback e di diagnosi remota come sopra. Vedere il

Test Lokalny / Zdalny
1 Podłącz dwa końce testowanego przewodu RJ45 do Testera głównego (A oraz B). W przypadku testowania przewodu zarobio-
nego na gniazdku lub panelu krosowym, Tester główny podłącz do gniazdka lub panelu krosowego, Terminator (C) również
podłącz o odpowiedniego gniazdka lub portu panelu krosowego.
2 Włącz tester okablowania.
3 Ustaw przełącznik na AUTO aby wykonać szybki cykliczny test żył, sprawdź sygnalizację diodową poszczególnych żył. Ustaw
przełącznik na MAUAL i kilkukrotnie wciśnij przycisk testu aby sprawdzić kolejne żyły.
4 Sprawdź tabelkę z opisem wskaźników diodowych.
Test Kabla 10Base-2
Podłącz złącza RJ45 do gniazd testera. Następnie połącz kabel BNC z końcówkami kabli adapterów BNC. Postępuj zgodnie z
instrukcjami z punktów 2-4. W razie konieczności użyj adaptera BNC aby zmienić rodzaj złącza.
Uwaga: Połączenie żyły centralnej powinno być odczytywane na diodzie #1, połączenie oplotu powinno być odczytywane na
diodzie #2. Intellnet zaleca aby test tego typu kabla wykonywać za pomocą trybu Manualnego wciskając przycisk testu.
