3.2Intendeduse
Thelowactivewheelchairisintendedtoprovidemobilityto
personslimitedtoasittingpositionandshouldonlybeused
forassistedtransportofadisabledpersonwithmobility
difculties.
Thewheelchairisintendedforpersonsages12andup
(adolescentsandadults).Theweightofthewheelchair
occupantmustnotexceedthemaximumuserweightas
statedintheTechnicalDatasectionandontheidentication
label.
Theintendeduseristhewheelchairoccupantand/oran
assistant.
Anassistantshouldphysicallyandmentallybeabletouse
thewheelchairsafelyforhimselfandtheoccupant(e.g.to
propel,steer,brake).
Thewheelchairmaybeusedindoorsandoutdoorsonlevel
groundandaccessibleterrain.

Thewheelchaircanbeequippedwithaposturebeltwith
plasticbuckle.Itpreventstheuserfromslidingdownward
inthewheelchairorfromfallingoutofthewheelchair.The
posturebeltisnotapositioningdevice.
WARNING!

Aloosebeltcanallowtheusertoslipdownand
createariskofstrangulation.
–Theposturebeltshouldbemountedby
aqualiedtechnicianandttedbythe
responsibleprescriber.
–Alwaysmakesurethattheposturebeltis
tightlyttedacrossthelowerpelvis.
–Eachtimetheposturebeltisused,checkifit
tsproperly.Changingtheseatand/orbackrest
angle,thecushionandevenyourclothes
