Power supply
GW-USB-03A is int nd d to b suppli d via micro USB conn ctor, ith r from PC or from th adapt r. Th
accumulator s rv s just as a backup for xt rnal pow r sourc and should b charg d from it.
Sleep mode
Whil suppli d from th accumulator for mor than 2 s, th GW is turn d to pow r saving mod with all functions and
p riph rals switch d off. Wak -up (normal op ration) is r stablish d just aft r r conn cting supply to USB
conn ctor. GW pow r is n v r compl t ly switch d off, th Sl p mod is us d inst ad of this.

USB
Th d vic supports two USB mod s:
•Custom D vic mod
Full communication with th IQRF IDE is nabl d in this mod . Th GW us s id ntical USB driv r lik .g. CK-
USB-04. It is possibl to upload th application into int rnal TR modul , display data r c iv d from SPI int rfac of
th TR in IQRF IDE T rminal tc. Th us r can asily cr at his own PC program using th mpusbapi.dll library.

•CDC mod
Aft r conn cting to PC a virtual s rial port is cr at d in this mod . Th us r can cr at his own PC program and
communicat via this port using th protocol d scrib d in docum nt CDC implementation in IQRF platform.
Switching b tw n th mod s can b don by Pushbutton (s chapt r Pushbutton) or by commands:
•From Custom D vic to CDC:
Using IQRF IDE v2.08 or high r:
H lp → Show IQRF USB D vic Info → Switch to CDC mod .
•From CDC to Custom D vic :
Using th Switch to USB Custom Class command in CDC protocol.

•C5 pin control
Pin C5 of th TR modul is h ld low and LED is on whil th pushbutton is pr ss d and SPI communication is just
not in progr ss. Similar to CK-USB-04 (S1, LED1).
