GENERAL INFORMATION
If you encounter any problems, need clarification of these instructions
or are not qualified to properly install this kit, contact you local distribu-
tor or dealer.
Read this instruction sheet in its entirety before beginning the installation.
All of these parts may scratch and bend, great care should be used
in handling them.
ALL WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS IN THE INSTALLATION AND
OPERATION MANUAL PROVIDED WITH THE APPLIANCE APPLY TO
THESE INSTRUCTIONS.
TURN OFF THE APPLIANCE AND ALLOW IT TO COMPLETELY COOL
BEFORE PROCEEDING.
Check the contents of the kits upon receipt and check for any damaged
or missing parts. If there is hidden damage, notify your freight company
or IHP dealer immediately.
Be sure to clean plated surfaces with a soft cloth and household glass
cleaner prior to burning the appliance. Fingerprints left on plated
surfaces while burning may remain on the finish permanently.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS - Ravenna™ and Designer™
fireplace inserts
NOTE: See face installation instructions for Ravelle™ 30 Fireplaces
on Page 2.
Face Assembly
Step 1. Locate the two mounting brackets provided that will be used for
mounting this face on the Ravenna or Designer fireplace inserts
(see Figure 2).

Step 1. Mount the top brackets on the available studs using the washers
and nuts provided (see Figure 6).

Step 2. Remove the 3/8” nuts securing the face spacer on the right and
left side of the face (see Figure 3). Discard the spacers (used
for Ravelle™ 30 installations only). Save the nuts for attaching
the mounting brackets.

Step 3. Remove the three 7/16” nuts (see Figure 4). Place the mount-
ing bracket on three 7/16” screws and 3/8” stud. Make sure the
hooks on the bracket are toward the outside of the face. Secure
the bracket by replacing the four nuts. Repeat this process for
the opposite side.
Step 4. The top and bottom hooks will hook onto the surround brackets
on the fireplace insert (see Figure 5). Hold the face close to the
surround panels on the fireplace insert, then hook both hooks
at the same time.

Figure 7 - Install Lower Brackets
Step 2. Mount the lower brackets on the available studs using the washers
and nuts provided (see Figure 7).
Step 3. To mount the face, rest the lower brackets on the one inch lower
lip of the appliance (see Figure 8). Tilt the top of the face up
toward the keeper nut. As you can see in the picture, the screw
on the mounting bracket will thread into the keeper nut.
Step 4. Guide a slender screwdriver through the mesh screen to thread
the right and left screws into the keeper nuts, securing the face
to the appliance.
