Prohibido: se utiliza para remarcar acciones que no deben ser
realizadas
INFORMACION GENERAL
Compruebe si están todas las piezas en el embalaje. En el caso
de que le falte alguna pieza comuníquelo al agente que le
suministró el aparato.
La instalación del convector debe ser realizada por una empresa
autorizada y un instalador debidamente cualificado. La empresa
instaladora ha de emitir los correspondientes certificados de
instalación, acreditando que los trabajos fueron realizados
conforme a los reglamentos técnicos en vigor de su localidad.
El convector ha de estar destinado al uso para el que fue
proyectado; si esto no es respetado no corresponderá la
aplicación de la garantía.
Si el convector va a permanecer apagado durante un largo
período de tiempo, recomendamos seguir los siguientes pasos:
•Posicionar el interruptor principal que está en el panel de
control en la posición “off”
•
•Posicionar el interruptor de pared en la posición “off” y
desconecte el cable eléctrico
•
•Cierre la llave de paso
Este manual forma parte del aparato, léalo y guárdelo para futuras
referencias.

Prohibited: it used to underline the actions that don’t half to be
executed.
GENERAL INFORMATION
Check if there is everything in the packing. In case of messing
pieces call the Agent that sold you the apparatus.
The convector installation has to be done by a qualified person or
by a qualified enterprise that has received a qualification. The
enterprise has to release you the installation conformity statement,
that tells you the work is correctly done as under the safety rules
laws, “of the 5 March1990 n 46”.
The convector has to do the work that it has been projected for; if
this is not respected there is no warranty.
If the convector is going to be shut down for a long period of time,
the following steps should be taken:
•Position the main switch that is on the control panel to the
“off” position.
•
•Position the general or wall switch to the “off” position and
unplug the electrical cord.
•
•Close the gas tap.
This book is a part of the convector, please read and save all
instructions for future reference.

REGLAS DE SEGURIDAD
Les recordamos que los productos que utilizan combustión o
energía eléctrica han de cumplir con los requisitos y reglamentos
técnicos locales antes de ponerse en marcha.
No permita que los niños se coloquen cerca del convector.
No se debe poner en marcha un aparato con suministro eléctrico
si se detecta olor a gas. En este caso:
• Abra las ventanas y la puerta
• Cierre la llave del gas
• Llame a un Servicio de Asistencia Técnica
Evitar tocar el convector con las manos mojadas u otras partes de
su cuerpo.
No limpiar el convector cuando está en funcionamiento.
No tocar el cable externo del convector.
No dejar trozos de papel, plástico u otros componentes de la caja
del convector en lugares que queden situados al alcance de los
niños.
No dispersar ni dejar los componentes del embalaje al alcance de
los niños.
Podría ser una fuente potencial de peligro.

SAFETY RULES
We like to remember that, products that use combustion or
electrical energy there is security rule to observe before operating.
Do not allow children to be near the convector.
It is prohibited to turn on an electrical device if there is a gas smell.
In this case:
• Open windows and door.
• Close the gas tap.
• Call a Technical Service Assistance.
It is prohibited to touch the convector with wet hand or other parts
of your body.
It is prohibited to clean the convector when it is running.
It is prohibited to touch the cable outside of the convector.
It is prohibited to leave paper, plastic, or other things of the
convector box outside within a child’s reach.
It is prohibited to disperse and leave packaging components for
the children handy
It could be potential source of hazard.

DESCRIPCIÓN DEL CONVECTOR
El convector Echo es un radiador de gas que calienta el ambiente.
Dispone de una cámara de combustión tipo C para una ejecución
de combustión estanca. El convector tiene un intercambiador de
aluminio que permite una alta eficiencia de transmisión de calor,
estando dotados los modelos XN y EN de un ventilador que
permite la dispersión del aire en el local de forma más rápida. Los
convectores se montan en fábrica para funcionar con gas natural,
pudiendo ser transformados a GLP (G30/G31) utilizando el kit de
inyectores suministrado con cada equipo.
Nota: Bajo pedido, el aparato puede ser suministrado para
funcionar a GLP.
También cuenta con un dispositivo eléctrico que permite hacer
una serie de cosas. También hay una caja de control del
Procesador (PCB assy) que controla todas las funciones
principales del aparato. Después está el panel de control que
tiene otras opciones.
IDENTIFICACIÓN
El convector Echo se identifica mediante:
- Etiqueta de embalaje:
Una etiqueta que indica el código y la combustión es utilizada
para identificar el convector.
- Etiqueta técnica:
La placa de características informa de los números de las
matrices, el gas para el que está preparado y observaciones
técnicas.
- Etiqueta del gas previsto de usar:
Informa sobre el tipo de gas que el convector ha de usar, y si hay
una transformación de un tipo de gas a otro se ha de cambiar la
etiqueta antigua.
La solicitud de piezas de repuesto o manuales técnicos requiere
una identificación precisa del tipo de modelo.
Si no hay una etiqueta técnica, será difícil realizar una correcta
identificación del aparato.

CONVECTOR DESCRIPTION
The Echo convector is a gas radiator that heat up the atmosphere.
It has an intake of air that goes in the combustion chamber type C.
The convector is made with an aluminum body that allows a high
efficiency of heat; it also has a fan that allows the dispersal of air
faster in the rooms. The convectors are arranged in factory for the
function at gas methane and they can be transformed to GPL
(G30/G31) using the furnished nozzle kit.
Note: At request the apparatus can be furnished already
arranged at GPL.
It also has an electrical device that allows you to do a series of
things. There also is a Processor Control Box (P.C.B assy) that
controls all the principals’ function of the apparatus. After there is
the Control Panel that has other options.
IDENTIFICATION
The Echo convector is identified through:
- Packed label:
A label that indicates the code and the combustion it uses to
identifies the convector.
- Technical label:
The technical label reports the matrices numbers, the gas
prearrangement, and technical observation.
- Gas prearrangement label:
It reports the kind of gas the convector has to use, and if there is a
transformation from one kind of gas to another you have to
change the old label.
Spare parts, or technical operation require, a precise identification
of the type of model.
If there is going to be any tampering of the technical label, this will
not consent the right identification of the apparatus.

INFORMACIÓN GENERAL
Este aparato es respetuoso con el medio ambiente; el aire para la
combustión se toma del exterior del local.
En la instalación del convector no utilice componentes que no
hayan sido suministrados por el fabricante.
- No permita que los cables eléctricos estén en contacto con
partes calientes, como la rejilla o el kit de entrada de
aire/evacuación de humos. El instalador debe indicar al usuario
como proceder durante el funcionamiento del aparato.
- Para evitar problemas no coloque ropa u otras cosas en la parte
superior de la parrilla.
- No bloquee con telas o alfombras la entrada de aire de
combustión y evacuación de gases quemados.
SELECCIÓN DE LA UBICACIÓN DEL APARATO
Antes de instalar el convector, verifique si hay suficiente espacio
para su correcto funcionamiento.
Compruebe si los materiales situados alrededor de los tubos del
convector pueden soportar el calor; en segundo lugar compruebe
que la pared está realizada con los materiales adecuados para
soportar el peso del convector.
Verifique que alrededor del tubo de evacuación de humos no hay
madera o plástico así como que el material puede soportar el
calor.
El material de la pared o soporte donde se instalará el convector
ha de resistir la temperatura del tubo de salida de humos
(alrededor de 180 °C).
En el caso de que el material de la pared sea de baja resistencia, es
posible realizar una cavidad alrededor del tubo de humos, aislando con
material resistente a la temperatura, de lo contrario ejecutar un agujero
con un diámetro de al menos 4 cm más grande que el del tubo de humos.
Está prohibida la instalación de convectores que precisen conexión
eléctrica en habitaciones tales como cuartos de baño o de ducha. Para
estas instalaciones se precisa realizar protecciones especiales que hagan
que la instalación cumpla con las normas y reglamentos de seguridad
eléctrica de aplicación.

GENERAL INFORMATION
This apparatus is tin respect to the environment; the air is intake
from the outside.
When the convector is being installed don't use other pieces that
are not give from the manufacturer.
- Don’t let the electrical cable touch heated parts, like the grill or
the intake & exhaust tubes. The installerhas to tell the owner the
behaviour to keep during the apparatus function.
- To avoid problems don’t place cloth or other things on top of the
grill.
- Don’t block with cloths or rug the apparatus intake & exhaust
tubes.
APPARATUS CHOICE LOCATION
Before you’re going to install the convector, check if there is
enough space for the correct function of the convector.
Check if around the convector tubes there are materials that can
support the heath, second check if the wall is made of the right
material and can support the convector weight.
Verified if around the exhaust fumes tubes, there is no wood or
plastic but there is the right material that can support the heath.
The material where the convector it going to be placed has to
resist the exhaust tube heath (about 180°C).
In case of low resistant wall material it’s possible to realize a cavity around
the exhaust fume tube, and insulate with strong material for the present
temperature, otherwise execute a hole with a larger diameter at least 4 cm
respect to the exhaust fume tube.
Its prohibited settles the convector in rooms like bath, or showers. For this
installation you need
to realize special protections that make the apparatus consistent to the
Electrical security rules.

Etapas de instalación
Las etapas de instalación del convector son:
- Elección de la ubicación del aparato

Tipo de instalación segun UNI CIG 7129
A continuación, vamos a mostrar los tipos de
instalación según la norma UNI CIG 7129.
Plantilla y montaje de soporte
Para colocar la plantilla y estribo utilizar el papel transparente,
marcando y ejecutando los agujeros B (ø8 mm).
- Fijar el estribo de uno de los 4 tacos ø8 mm suministrados.
- Marcar y ejecutar los otros 3 agujeros (ø8mm) en los orificios
correspondientes presentes en el estribo y en la plantilla,
fijándolos con los tres tacos.
- Marcar en la pared el centro del agujero A para el kit ventosa.

As we go on, we are going to show you the types of
installation second by the Uni Cig 7129 rule.
Template and stirrup assemblage
To position the template & stirrup use the paper mask then
marked, and execute hole B (8mm).
- Fasten the stirrup with one of the 4 inserts 0 8mm furnished
- Mark, and execute the other 3 holes (Ø 8mm) in the
corresponding buttonholes present on the stirrup and on the
template, fasten with the 3 inserts.
- Mark on the wall the centre for A hole for the intake tube.

Ensamblaje del kit ventosa y conexión de gas
- Adaptar el tubo al espesor de la pared.
Importante: el corte del extremo externo se debe medir desde la
pared.
Importante: Cortar el tubo de aluminio (tubo de escape) de forma
que, una vez montado, quede alineado con el tubo externo,
sobresaliendo 10 mm de la cara interior de la pared. El corte del
tubo exterior es fácil de ejecutar utilizando la cinta de alineación.
Importante: el corte del tubo tiene que ser perpendicular al eje del
tubo, teniendo cuidado de no deformar los tubos. Insertar el tubo
lateral en el agujero de la pared y, posteriormente, el tubo interior
en el tubo exterior.
- Insertar el tubo de escape / aspiración de forma concéntrica;
marque los centros de los agujeros de ø6 mm para los tacos
de los tornillos de sujeción del terminal de pared.
- Recortar el terminal, perforar los cuatro orificios de Ø 6mm,
posicionar los tacos en los agujeros.
- Insertar el terminal del kit ventosa en el tubo concéntrico
sujetándole con los 4 tornillos, bien apretados a la pared.
Importante: Si el tubo exterior sobresale de la pared puede causar
anomalías en la llama del quemador.

Fume/air tube assemblage and gas connection
- Adapt at wall space the tube length.
Important: the outside tube should be cut to the wall space.
Important: Cut the aluminum tube (exhaust tube) in the way that,
once assembled it will line up to the outside tube, and will
overhanging 10mm to the inside house. The outside tube cut, it
easily to execute use the lining tape. Important: the tube cut has to
be perpendicular to the tube axis, being real careful not deforming
the tubes. Insert the out side tube in the wall hole and subse-
quently the inside tube in the outside tube.
- Insert the exhaust/intake tube in the concentric tube; mark the
centre holes of o 6mm for the terminal wall fastening inserts.
- Cut the terminal, drill the four holes ø6mm, position the inserts
in the holes.
- Insert the terminal in the concentric tube fasten with the 4
screws well adherent to the wall.
Important: If the outside tube is overhanging, it might cause
anomaly to the burner flame.

Cómo montar el kit especial ventosa desde el interior de la
habitación a ser calentada.
Perforar el agujero en la pared. Recortar el kit especial de forma
que coincida con el espesor real de la pared (ver figura).
IMPORTANTE: El tubo externo (fijado al de aluminio) debe ser
cortado para que coincida con el espesor de pared de forma
exacta.
IMPORTANTE: Corte el tubo interno (tubo de humos) de manera
que: la extremidad externa quede alineada perfectamente con el
extremo externo de la tubería de toma de aire. El exceso de
longitud debe ser de 10 mm.
Es fácil cortar el tubo de entrada de aire con la ayuda de la banda
principal graduada que puede ser pegada a la tubería (cuchilla
afilada) para marcar el punto donde se debe de cortar.
IMPORTANTE: El corte debe ser perpendicular al eje de la
tubería, por favor, manejar con cuidado a fin de no deformar los
tubos.
Antes de colocar los tubos en el agujero de la pared, fijar el kit
especial en la brida de la plantilla de montaje. Use los tornillos
correspondientes.
IMPORTANTE: El Kit especial es diferente del estándar: el flexible
de centrado no se suministra. Usted no lo necesita porque los
tubos se fijan de forma coaxial a la salida de aluminio.
Montaje del convector
Después de que haya terminado las operaciones anteriores, inicie
la conexión del convector a la pared.
- Monte la junta tórica en el tubo de admisión de aire.
- Retire el humidificador y la cubierta del convector
desenroscando el tornillo de sujeción.
- Apoye la parte inferior del convector en los encajes de la parte
inferior de la plantilla; fijar en la pared o en la barra de
separación.
- Acerque el aparato, inserte el codo de humos/aire en el
adaptador de conexión de los tubos.
- Para la fijación de los tubos utilice grasa y asegúrese que las
juntas tóricas están en su asiento.

How to mount special pipes kit from inside the
room to be warmed.
Drill the hole on the wall. Shorten the special pipes in order to
match the real thickness of the wall (see picture).
IMPORTANT: The external pipe (fixed to the aluminum outlet)
must be cut to match the exact thickness of the wall.
IMPORTANT: Cut the internal pipe (exhaust pipe) that way: the
external extremity must be set perfectly in line with the external
end of air intake pipe. The internal extremity must exceed the
internal end of the air intake pipe. The exceeding length must be
10 mm.
It is easy to cut the air intake pipe with the help of the leading strip
that can be stuck to the pipe (blade sheet made) to mark the point
where cutting must be made.
IMPORTANT: Cutting must be perpendicular to the pipe axis,
please handle with care in order not to deform the pipes.
Before inserting pipes on the hole in the wall, fix the special kit to
the flanging on the mounting template. Use the screws on issue.
IMPORTANT: The Special Kit is different from the Standard one:
the centering spring is missing. You don’t need it because the
pipes are fixed in coaxial way to the aluminum outlet.
Convector assemblage
After that you have finished the previous operations, start to
connect the convector to the wall
- Assembled the O-ring gasket on the intake tube.
- Remove the humidifier and the cover from the con vector
unscrewing the fasting screw.
- Rest the inferior part of the convector at the inferior template
adages; fasten to the wall or on the spacing bar.
- Approach the apparatus, inserting the unloaded /intake fumes
curves in the right adapter connection tubes.
- To fasten the tubes use grease and be sure that the O Rings
are in their seating.

- Levante el aparato, colóquelo al lado del soporte, y luego fíjelo
con los espárragos (5ma) (4).
- Para evitar daños, No levante el convector sosteniéndolo por
el ventilador.
- Controlar el trabajo realizado
Monte de nuevo la cubierta y el humidificador después de las
conexiones de gas y electricidad
CONEXIONES ELÉCTRICAS
El convector está fabricado completamente cableado y
suministrado con el enchufe eléctrico. Es necesario realizar una
conexión eléctrica con cable de 1 mm.
También es necesario tener conexión a tierra. En caso contrario el
fabricante/distribuidor no se responsabiliza de los daños.
Se prohíbe el uso de una tubería de gas o de agua para la
conexión a tierra de los aparatos
CONEXIÓN DEL GAS
- Comprobar en la etiqueta técnica que está en la cubierta del
intercambiador de calor, el tipo de gas que utiliza el convector.
- Utilice los tubos de gas y conexiones adecuadas. La conexión
roscada del convector es de 3/8 "M UNI ISO 7/1.
- Después de realizar la la conexión de gas, hacer las primeras
pruebas

- Lift the apparatus, place it next to the hanger, and then fasten
with stud bolt (5ma) (4).
- Do not lift the convector holding it from the fan, trying emitting
damage.
- Check the work done
Reassemble the cover and the humidifier after the electrical and
gas connection.
ELECTRICAL COLLEGAMENTS
The convector is fabricated completely wired and furnished with
the electrical plug. Is necessary to realize an electrical wire type
HAR H 05 RRF with a conduction of 1mm.
Is necessary also to have a ground connection, if this is not done
the manufacturer takes no responsibility for the damage.
It prohibited the use of the gas tube or water pipe for the
apparatus ground setting.
GAS CONNECTION
- Check on the technical label that is on the heat exchanger
cover, for the kind of gas that the convector uses.
- Use the proper gas tubes and pipe fitting. The etching under
the convector is a 3/8" M UNI ISO 7/1.
- After the gas connection is done, do the first seal tests.

OPERACIÓN PRELIMINAR
El convector es regulado en fábrica, testado y suministrado para
funcionar a gas natural (G20).
Nota: el aparato también puede ser solicitado para funcionar a
GLP (butano y propano).
Lo primero que se ha de hacer antes de iniciar el chequeo del
convector es:
- Si el convector está preparado para el gas a suministrar.
- La conexión de gas está realizada correctamente y la válvula
de gas está abierta.
- La conexión eléctrica está realizada correctamente.
Recuerde que también es importante tener en cuenta una buena
conexión a tierra y respetar la correcta polaridad.
Durante la primera puesta en marcha, es posible verificar vapor y
olor irritante no peligroso. Para evitar estas molestias se aconseja
airear la habitación.

PRELIMINARY OPERATION
The convector is furnished and preset for the gas function (G 20)
and regulated in factory.
Note: the apparatus can also be requested with the GPL gas
function.
First things to do before you start the convector check:
- If the convector is preset for the right gas
- The gas connection is correctly realized and the gas switch is
opened
- The electrical connections are properly done.
Remember it is also important to realize a good ground connection
and to respect the neutral phase.
During the first starting, you might verify vapour and irritating
smells not dangerous. To avoid these discomfort we advice to
aerate the room.
