Can I change the button functions on my earbuds?
You can change the default button functions on your earbuds in the Jabra Sound+
app, MyControls. You can configure single, double, or triple-press actions for how the buttons will
control the following functions for media, call handling, and Sound Modes.
 ANC on/off for calls
 Sidetone on/off
 Hold current call and answer incoming call
 Switch between held call and current call
Your preferred button configurations will be saved on your Jabra device, but you can always reset
your device to the default settings.
Does a higher wattage charging pad reduce the charging time?
No. For charging pads with a minimum of 5 watts, the charging case will always draw at a rate of 5
watts, regardless of the total wattage output of the charging pad.
Total charge time will depend on the battery level of the earbuds and charging case
How do I access the voice assistant using my Jabra device?
To access the voice assistant on your mobile device using your Jabra device, double-press
the Left button when not on a call.
Note
You can change your preferred voice assistant in Jabra Sound+.
How do I achieve the best sound with my Jabra true wireless earbuds?
To achieve the optimal comfort and sound quality, the fit of the earbuds is essential. With the
right size EarGels, the earbuds will create a tight seal in your ear canal to reduce audio leakage
and provide a fuller sound experience.

While inserting the earbuds into your ears, twist the earbuds lightly until it feels comfortable and
the microphones are pointing down towards your mouth. Make sure you try all three sizes of the
provided EarGels until you find the fit that gives you the best combination of comfort and sound
quality.
How do I charge my Jabra Elite 7 Pro/Active?
To charge your Jabra Elite 7 Pro/Active, place the earbuds in the charging case and close the lid. It
takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge the earbuds and charging case.
When you open the lid, the LEDs on the earbuds will flash red, yellow, or green to indicate the
battery status of the earbuds. The LED on the front of the charging case indicates the battery
status of the charging case.
Fast charge
When the earbuds are at low battery, 5 minutes of charge time will give up to 1.2 hours of battery.
This fast charge option requires that the charging case has a minimum of 30% battery. You can
check the current battery status of the earbuds and charging case in the Jabra Sound+ app.
Charge the charging case using the USB cable
Plug the supplied USB-A to USB-C charging cable into the charging case and a USB-A power
supply or certified wall charger. It takes approximately 2.5 hours to fully charge the earbuds and
the charging case using the USB cable. Third party USB chargers may take longer to charge the
charging case.
Charge the charging case using a wireless charging pad
You can charge the charging case and earbuds using a charging pad. Place the charging case on
the wireless charging pad and ensure that the charging case does not have a USB cable connected.

The LED on the charging case will flash to indicate the charging case is placed correctly and is
charging.
It takes up to 2.5 hours to fully charge the charging case and earbuds using a charging pad. When
fully charged, the LED on the charging case will stay lit green. Third party wireless charging pads
may take longer to charge the charging case.
Note
Charging a device using a charging pad may result in the device becoming warm. The elevated
temperature is within safe operating requirements and has no bearing on the lifespan or
performance of the device.
How do I manually reset my Jabra Elite 7 Pro/Active to the default settings?
When you reset your Jabra true wireless earbuds, previously paired devices and settings will be
cleared.
Follow these steps to reset.
1. Place both earbuds in the charging case and leave the lid open. Ensure your earbuds
are sufficiently charged.
2. Press and hold (10 seconds) the Left and Right buttons on the earbuds
simultaneously until the earbud LEDs flash magenta.
3. Close the lid of the charging case (5 seconds) to complete the reset.
How do I optimise the audio settings for listening to music and watching videos?
You can optimise the audio settings on multiple devices.
Jabra Sound+ app - music equalizer
Make sure to adjust the bass, mid-range, and treble settings to suit your preferred audio.
Connected device - audio
Many smartphones and tablets have their own audio settings. Check and adjust these device audio
settings to improve the audio experience.
Connected device - maximum speaker volume
Depending on the smartphone or tablet audio settings, the maximum potential volume may be
disabled due to default settings for hearing protection from the device manufacturer.

Music and video apps - audio
Many smartphone and tablet apps have their own audio settings, which are independent of the
device audio settings. Check and adjust these app audio settings to improve the audio experience.
How do I pair my Jabra Elite 7 Pro/Active with my mobile device?
To pair your headset with your mobile device or tablet, follow these steps.
1. Turn on the Bluetooth setting on your mobile device.
2. Turn on your earbuds by removing them from the charging case. Alternatively,
simultaneously press and hold (1 second) the Left and Right buttons.
The LEDs on both earbuds will turn green.
3. To enter pairing mode, simultaneously press and hold (3 seconds)
the Left and Right buttons on the earbuds, until the LEDs on the earbuds flash blue.
The earbuds are now ready to pair with your mobile device.
Note
If you want to use just one earbud, you must still pair both earbuds with your mobile
device. After the pairing, you can place one of the earbuds in the charging case.
4. To pair, go to the Bluetooth menu on your mobile device and select the Jabra Elite
earbuds from the list. If the Jabra device is listed more than once, select the entry
showing the headphone icon. If the Jabra device is listed more than once, select the
entry showing the headphone icon. Enter “0000” (four zeros) if you are asked for a
PIN.
In daily use, when you turn on the earbuds, they will automatically reconnect with the last
previously paired device, if it is turned on and within range.
How do I update the firmware on my Jabra Elite earbuds using Jabra Sound+?
If your earbuds are turned on and paired with your mobile device, when you open Jabra Sound+, a
notification will appear when a new firmware is available. The Discover icon will also pulse with a
red glow.
To install new firmware, follow these steps.
1. Remove both earbuds from the charging case and make sure they are paired with
and within range of your mobile device.
2. In Jabra Sound+, tap the Discover icon.
3. Tap Update now to start the update process and make sure to Agree to the license
terms to enable the update of your Jabra device.

4. Place the earbuds in the charging case and close the lid.
5. Follow the onscreen instructions to update the device. This may take up to 15
minutes and is indicated by the LED flashing pink on the charging case.
6. After the LED has stopped flashing pink, wait at least 10 seconds before opening the
charging case. If the LED continues to flash after 15 minutes, open the lid of the
charging case and then close it again.
7. A notification appears in Jabra Sound+ when the firmware update is complete.
If an error occurs during the firmware update, the LED on the charging case will flash red. To
restart the firmware update, make sure the charging case is connected to a power supply, remove
the earbuds from the charging case and then place the earbuds back in the charging case and
close the lid.
The caller hears an echo when they speak. Can I reduce the echo?
In a true wireless earbud, the microphone is located very close to the speaker. If the eargel does
not create a tight seal between the earbud and your ear, the microphone may pick up the caller’s
voice from the speaker and cause an echo that only the caller hears.
You can reduce the echo by ensuring a tight seal between the earbud and your ear. We
recommend that you try all the eargel sizes to obtain the best possible fit.
