Introduction
BLUE PAD is a wireless keyboard used to activate a BLUE
OPENER or BLUEOPENHAND device via Bluetooth.

Installation
•
If the mounting surface is flat and smooth, please use the
double-sided tape to affix the keyboard. In this case, the
mounting plate is not necessary.
•
If the mounting surface is not suitable or you wish to install
the mounting plate, follow the instructionsbelow:
Mark the position of the holes required by the mounting
plate on the wall and drill the holes according to these
marks. Fit the plugs into the wall to enable you to screw
the mounting plate in place.
Stick the double-sided tape to the back of the keyboard
and then stick the keyboard onto the mounting plate.

Batteries
Remove the screw, press the release-tab and then remove the bat-
tery holder from inside.
Insert four AAA type batteries into the holder, noting the correct
polarity, and then place the battery holder back into the keyboard.
Replace the screw.

Configuration
Pairing the keyboard
Once successfully installed, the equipment needs to be con-
figured.
In the "Blue Open" app, select the configuration button for the
BLUEOPENER or the BLUEOPENHAND that you want to activate
with the BLUEPAD and press "Wireless keypad".
If the device has not been paired before, press anykey to activate
it.
If the device has already been paired, type *529# to activate pair-
ing mode.
Select the device in the app to pair the keyboard.

Generating codes
Once the keyboard is connected, you can generate codes to activ-
ate the paired BLUEOPENER or BLUEOPENHAND.
In the "Blue Open" app, select the BLUEOPENER or
BLUEOPENHAND configuration button linked to the BLUEPAD and
press"Custom passcodes".
Start date and end date: You can set the start date and end
date, but onlyin Temporary mode.
Passcode: enter acode between 4 and 8 digits.
Add periodicity: select days and hours.
Once the fieldshave been completed, press "Generate" and give
the code a name.

Managing codes
When one or more codeshave been generated, they can be man-
aged.
In the "Blue Open" App, select the BLUEOPENER or
BLUEOPENHAND configuration button linked to the BLUEPAD and
press "Manage passcodes".
The app will show the list of active codes. A code can be deleted
by clicking on the trash can icon.

Operating
Enter a code followed by "# " on the BLUEPAD.
If the code is correct, the LED will turn green for 2 secondsand the
unit will emit a longbeep.
The paired BLUEOPENER or BLUEOPENHAND device will be activ-
ated.
If the code isincorrect, the LED will turn red for 2 seconds and the
unit will emit 4 short beeps.
If the device does not activate, check the following:

The code you entered is correct and is within the defined time
zone
•
All the devices are powered
