SAFETY INFORMATION
For your safety, read this manual thoroughly
before operating the Tire Changer
This tire changer is intended for use by properly trained automotive technicians. The
safety messages presented in this section and throughout the manual are reminders
to the operator to exercise extreme caution when servicing tires with these products.
There are many variations in procedures, techniques, tools, and parts for mounting
and demounting of tires, as well as the skill of the individual doing the work. Because
of the vast number of wheel and tire applications and potential uses of the product,
the manufacturer cannot possibly anticipate or provide advice or safety messages
to cover every situation. It is the automotive technician’s responsibility to be knowle-
dgeable of the wheels and tires being serviced. It is essential to use proper service
methods in an appropriate and acceptable manner that does not endanger your sa-
fety, the safety of others in the work area or the equipment or vehicle being serviced.
It is assumed that, prior to using that tire changer, the operator has a thorough un-
derstanding of the wheels and tires being serviced. In addition, it is assumed he has
a thorough knowledge of the operation and safety features of the rack, lift, or ;oor
jack being utilized, and has the proper hand and power tools necessary to service the
vehicle in a safe manner.
Before using the present tire changer, always refer to and follow the safety messages
and service procedures provided by the manufacturers of the equipment being used
and the vehicle being serviced.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using this equipment, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions.
2. Do not operate equipment with a damaged power cord or if the equipment has been
damaged - until it has been examined by a qualified authorized service technician.
3. If an extension cord is used, a cord with a current rating equal to or more than that of the
machine should be used. Cords rated for less current than the equipment may overheat.
Care should be taken to arrange the cord so that it will not be tripped over or pulled.
4. Always unplug equipment from electrical outlet when not in use. Never use the
cord to pull the plug from the outlet. Grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
5. To reduce the risk of fire, do not operate equipment in the vicinity of open contai-
ners of flammable liquids (gasoline).
6. Keep hair, loose fitting clothing, fingers and all parts of the body away from mo-
ving parts.
7. Adequate ventilation should be provided when working on operating internal com-
bustion engines.
8. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use on wet surfaces or expose to rain.
9. Do not hammer any part of the machine, it isn’t designed to be an anvil.
10. Do not allow unauthorized personnel to operate the equipment.
11. Do not disable or bypass the safety systems and follow all the safety procedures.
12. Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended at-
tachments.
13. Always securely lock the rim before actuating rotation.
14. ALWAYS WEAR SAFETY GLASSES. Everyday eyeglasses only have impact resi-
stant lenses, they are NOT safety glasses.
15. The equipment is for indoor use only.

General Danger. Take the necessary precautions.
· The areas marked with this symbol indicate the
presence of a potentional ranger to the operator.
· This plate is normally found with a second pictogram,
which represents the type of risk in greater detail. The
operator must know the meaning of every pictogram
found on the machine.
· When this symbol is found without other plate, it
noti"es the operator of a general risk, refer to the
User Manual for the warnings.
· Do not operate the machine without knowiong
the meaning of the pictogram found in the area
concerned.
· Do not allow unauthorised people approach the
machine.

Electrical risk. Electric shock hazard.
• Do not operate equipment with a damaged power cord
or if the equipment has been dropped or damaged,
until it has been examined by a quali"ed service
person.
• If an extension cord is necessary, a cord with a current
rating equal to or greater than that of the equipment
should be used. Cords rated for less current than the
equipment can overheat.
• Unplug equipment from electrical power outlet when
not in use. Never use the cord to pull the plug from
the outlet. Grasp plug and pull to disconnect.
• Do not expose the equipment to rain. Do not use on
wet surfaces.
• Plug unit into correct power supply socket.
• Do not remove or bypass grounding wire.

Pour en commander de neufs, utiliser le numéro de
pièce (P/N) reporté dans ce chapitre.

Danger. Indique l’existence d’un danger et invite à la
prudence.
•Les zones contremarquées par ce symbole indiquent
à l’opérateur la présence d’un danger potentiel.
•Ce signal est généralement accompagné d’un
second pictogramme, qui symbolise plus en détail
la catégorie de risque. L’opérateur doit connaître la
signification de tous les pictogrammes présents sur
la machine.
•Si seul ce symbole est présent, sans autres signaux, il
indique le risque d’un danger non moins précisé, voir
le Manuel d’utilisation, pour les mesures à prendre.
•Ne pas mettre en marche sans avoir bien compris le

Risque électrique. Danger d’électrocution.
• Ne pas démarrer l’appareil si le câble d’alimentation
est endommagé ou après une chute ou en présence
de dommages, tant qu’il n’a pas été examiné par une
personne qualifiée du SAV.
• Si une rallonge est nécessaire, utiliser un câble ayant
un débit de courant égal ou supérieur au courant
utilisé pour l’appareil. Un câble de débit inférieur
pourrait surchauffer.
• Quand il n’est pas utilisé, toujours débrancher
l’appareil du coffret électrique. Ne jamais saisir le
câble pour extraire la fiche du coffret. Saisir la fiche
électrique et tirer pour débrancher.
• Ne pas exposer l’appareil à la pluie. Ne pas utiliser
sur des surfaces humides.
• Brancher l’unité à la bonne prise d’alimentation.
• Ne pas retirer ni désactiver le câble de terre.

ATENCIÓN: ASEGÚRESE DE QUE LAS SEÑALES DE
SEGURIDAD SEAN VISIBLES Y ESTÉN UBICADAS
EN LAS POSICIONES ESTABLECIDAS POR EL
FABRICANTE (VÉASE FIGURA DE AL LADO).
Para restablecerlas, utilice el número de recambio
(P/N) indicado en este capítulo.

Peligro Genérico. Preste atención a los siguientes puntos.
•Las zonas marcadas por este símbolo indican al
operador la presencia de un peligro potencial.
•Generalmente esta placa acompaña a un
segundo pictograma, el cual representa con
mayor detalle el tipo de riesgo. El operador
debe conocer el signi!cado de cada pictograma
presente en la máquina.
•En presencia de este símbolo no acompañado
por otras placas, se debe asumir la advertencia
de riesgo genérico, hágase referencia al Manual
de Uso para las advertencias.
•No proceder con la operatividad, sin antes

Riesgo Eléctrico. Riesgo de descargas eléctricas
• No ponga en marcha aparatos que tengan el cable
de alimentación dañado o que hayan sufrido
caídas o presenten daños, hasta que no hayan sido
examinados por una persona de servicio cuali!cada.
• Caso que resulte necesaria una extensión, use un
cable con capacidad de corriente igual o superior al
utilizado para el aparato. Un cable con capacidad
inferior podría sobrecalentarse.
• Cuando no lo utilice, desconecte siempre el aparato
del cuadro eléctrico. No sujete nunca el cable para
extraer el enchufe del cuadro. Sujete el enchufe
eléctrico y tire para desenchufar.
• No exponga los aparatos a la lluvia. No los utilice sobre
super!cies húmedas.
• Conecte la unidad a la toma de alimentación.
• No extraiga ni excluya el cable de tierra.

operate the equipment.
• Wear the devices indicated before operating the
equipment.

Risk of flying fragments during beading.
• The beading operation with the GT device can
result in flying objects and loud noise levels.
We therefore recommend the use of protection
equipment for eyes and ears.
• When using compressed air for the beading operation
there is the risk of the tire exploding.
• Avoid excessive pressure. Do not exceed the
maximum pressure indicated on the tire.
• The risk of explosion is also dependant on the
conditions of the tire. Check the tire before inflating it.

The tyre weight must be known.
•The plate indicates the wheel lifter carrying
capacity.
•The mechanical parts of the wheel lifter can be
compromised by excessive loads.
•For particularly heavy tires, we recommend
identifying the exact weight, with a suitable
instrument, before loading on the tyre changer.
Do not use the wheel lifter if the weight exceeds
the maximum weight allowed.
•Maintain a safe distance when in movement.

obligatoires quand on utilise la machine.
• Porter les équipements avant d’utiliser la machine.
LE PORT DES EQUIPEMENTS DE PROTECTION
INDIVIDUELLE EST IMPOSE PAR LA LOI.

Risque de projection de fragments en phase
d’enjantage talon.
• L’opération d’enjantage talon à l’aide du dispositif GT
peut également provoquer la projection d’objets et du
bruit. Il est donc recommandé d’utiliser les équipements
de protection appropriés pour les yeux et les oreilles.
• Si on utilise de l’air comprimé pour enjanter le
talon, il subsiste le danger d’explosion du pneu.
• Eviter les surpressions. Ne pas dépasser la pression
maximale indiquée sur le pneu.
• Le risque d’explosion dépend aussi des bonnes
conditions générales du pneu. Contrôler le pneu
avant d’envoyer l’air comprimé.

Il est nécessaire de connaître le poids de la roue.
•La plaquette reporte la capacité de charge de
l’élévateur.
•Si la charge dépasse la limite préconisée, les organes
mécaniques de l’élévateur pourraient s’abîmer.
•Si les roues sont particulièrement lourdes, il est
conseillé de connaître exactement leur poids, en
les pesant, avant de procéder au chargement sur le
démonte-pneus. Ne pas utiliser l’élévateur si le poids
est supérieur au poids maximum admissible.
•Se maintenir à une distance de sécurité quand
l’élévateur est en marche.

• La operación de entalonado mediante el
dispositivo gt, puede provocar la proyección de
objetos y ruido. Se recomienda utilizar dispositivos
de protección para los ojos y el oído adecuados.
• Al usar aire comprimido para la operación
de entalonado, existe el peligro de explosión del
neumático.
• Evite las sobrepresiones. no exceda la presión
máxima indicada en el neumático.
• El riesgo de explosión también depende de las
condiciones generales del neumático. Controle el
neumático antes de introducir el aire.

The safety precautions must be completely understood
and observed by every operator.

la presencia o ausencia del dispositivo de entalonado
para neumáticos tubeless.
Los modelos se diferencian del siguiente modo:
