STEP BY STEP ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY BEFORE ATTEMPTING TO ASSEMBLE and check the pack for contents - a full checklist of components is
given in this leaet. If any components are missing, please contact the John Lewis Branch you bought this product from.
Although this product is not considered heavy, please TAKE CARE when lifting / moving to avoid personal injury and / or damage to
the product.
It will take ONE PERSON approximately 15 MINUTES to assemble.
This pack contains SMALL ITEMS which should be kept AWAY from children.

This active chair features a return spring which controls the reclining mechanism to work with the user, making
it more or less easy to fully recline - additional parts have been provided to allow those who prefer to have more
resistance from the spring.
To customize the chair and make it MORE resistant, please follow these steps:
• Carefully lay the chair on its side and open the zip to reveal additional discs.
• Insert a thin screwdriver or similar at object into the hole and pull the pin out (be aware this requires a little
force).
• You will then be able to place one or two discs between the pin and the cylinder (containing the spring) to adjust
the mechanism.
• Release the pin and the disc(s) will be held in place.
• Close the zip and carefully return the chair to an upright position.
