ISTRUZIONE PER LʼUTILIZZO SICURO
DELLE BATTERIE
Sostituire una batteria solo con una di tipo analogo.
Assicurarsi di inserire le nuove batterie correttamen-
te rispettando i simboli per il posizionamento dei
poli positivo (+) e negativo (-) di ciascuna batteria.
Conservare le batterie in un luogo fresco e asciutto a
temperatura ambiente. Rimuovere le batterie dai di-
spositivi non utilizzati per un lungo periodo di tem-
po.
Non ricaricare le batterie non ricaricabili.
Non esporre mai le batterie ad un calore eccessivo
come quello provocato dai raggi solari, dal fuoco o
da fonti simili: elevato pericolo di fuoriuscita di aci-
do.
Lʼinosservanza di queste indicazioni può comporta-
re un danneggiamento ed eventualmente lʼesplosio-
ne delle batterie.

Non smontare, gettare nel fuoco o mettere in corto
circuito le batterie.
Tenere sempre le batterie lontano dalla portata dei
bambini. In caso di ingestione le batterie possono
causare pericoli mortali. Conservare quindi le batte-
rie in un luogo inaccessibile per i bambini piccoli. In
caso di ingestione di una batteria consultare imme-
diatamente un medico o il centro antiveleni locale.
L’acido contenuto nelle batterie è corrosivo. Evitare
il contatto con la pelle, gli occhi o gli indumenti.
Rimuovere le batterie dall’apparecchio prima dello
smaltimento.
Smaltire le batterie in un centro raccolta specico e
mai gettarle con i riuti domestici.

ISTRUZIONI D’USO E MANUTENZIONE
Prima dell’uso togliere la pellicola di pro-
tezione A dai contatti e scegliere l’unità di
peso (Fig.1).
Asportare il coperchietto in plastica del
vano batteria posto sotto la bilancia e
posizionare il selettore sull’unità di peso
scelta: sinistra “Kg” centro “Off” destra
“Lb” (Fig.2).
Mettere la bilancia su una superficie dura
e piatta, questo assicurerà la precisione e
ripetibilità delle misurazioni, evitare tap-
peti e superfici soffici.
Pesarvi sempre con la bilancia nella stessa
posizione sul pavimento.
Pavimenti disuguali potrebbero influenza-
re la lettura.
Pesatevi senza vestiti e scarpe, prima dei
pasti e sempre alla stessa ora. La mattina
appena alzati è ideale.
La vostra bilancia scorre su e giù tra i 100
gr. più vicini al peso rilevato.
FUNZIONAMENTO
Salire sulla bilancia con delicatezza. Po-
sizionare i vostri piedi sulla bilancia in
modo corretto (Fig.3) e senza muovervi
aspettare che la bilancia elabori il vostro
peso che verrà indicato sul display come
segue, (Fig.4) esempio: 44.15 14°C (44Kg
15dag 14°C temperatura ambiente del lo-
cale).
ATTENZIONE: la bilancia inizia a visualiz-
zare il peso da 5Kg. fino ad un massimo
di 180Kg.
SPEGNIMENTO AUTOMATICO
Quando scendete dalla bilancia, si spe-
gnerà automaticamente. Se non avviene
nessuna lettura quando il display mostra
“zero” la bilancia si spegnerà automatica-
mente dopo circa 5 secondi.
INDICATORE SOVRACCARICO
Quando la bilancia viene sovraccaricata
(più di 180Kg.), apparirà la seguente indi-
cazione: “0-LD”
INDICATORE SOSTITUZIONE BATTERIA
Quando la batteria si scarica e deve essere
sostituita sul display apparirà la seguen-
te indicazione: “Lo”. Aprire lo sportello
posto sul retro della bilancia, togliere de-
licatamente la batteria dalla sua sede fa-
cendo attenzione a non piegare i contatti,
potrebbero rompersi; inserire la batteria
nuova e richiudere lo sportello.
Smaltire la batteria usata nei centri di rac-
colta differenziata secondo le modalità e i
regolamenti vigenti.
PULIZIA E MANUTENZIONE
Pulire la bilancia con un panno umido, fa-
cendo attenzione a non fare penetrare ac-
qua nella bilancia.
Non usare prodotti chimici per pulire la
bilancia.
Non immergere la bilancia in acqua.
Non riporre la bilancia in verticale, questo
esaurirà più velocemente la batteria.
Togliere la batteria se la bilancia non viene
usata per un lungo tempo.
Trattare la bilancia con cura: è uno stru-
mento di precisione.
Fare attenzione a non farla cadere e salite
sempre in modo non violento.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR SAFE USE OF THE BATTERIES
Replace a battery only with one of the same type.
• Make sure to insert the batteries correctly, refer-
ring to the symbols for positioning the positive (+)
and negative (-) pole of each battery.
• Store the batteries at room temperature in a cool
and dry place. Remove the batteries from devices
that are not used for long periods of time.
DO NOT charge non-rechargeable batteries.
NEVER expose the batteries to excessive heat, such
as that caused by sunlight, re or similar sources as
this poses a high risk of acid leaking from the bat-
teries! Failure to comply with these instructions can
damage.

USE AND MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS
Before use, remove the protective film A
(Fig.1) from the contacts and choose the
weight unit.
Remove the plastic cover of the battery
compartment located under the scale and
place the selector on the chosen weight
unit: left “Kg” center “Off” right “Lb” (Fig.2)
Place the scale on a hard and flat surface,
this will ensure the accuracy and repeata-
bility of the measurements, avoid carpets
and soft surfaces.
Always weigh yourself with the scale in the
same position on the floor. Unequal floors
could affect reading.
Weigh yourself without clothes and shoes,
before meals and always at the same time.
Just getting up in the morning is ideal.
Your scale scrolls up and down between
0.2lb. closer to the detected weight.
OPERATION
Step on the scale gently. Position your feet
on the scale correctly (Fig.3) and without
moving wait for the scale to process your
weight which will be indicated on the di-
splay as follows,example: (Fig.4)
97.3 14°C (97Lb. 3Oz 14°C room tempe-
rature of the room).
ATTENTION: the scale starts displaying
the 11,02Lb weight. up to a maximum of
396Lb.
AUTOMATIC SWITCH-OFF
When you get off the scale, it will automa-
tically turn off. If no reading occurs when
the display shows “zero”, the scale will au-
tomatically turn off after about 5 seconds.
OVERLOAD INDICATOR
When the scale is overloaded (more than
396Lb.),
The following indication will appear:
“0-LD””
BATTERY REPLACEMENT INDICATOR
When the battery is discharged and needs
to be replaced, the following indication
will appear on the display: “Lo” Open the
door on the back of the scale, carefully re-
move the battery from its housing, being
careful not to bend the contacts, they
could break; insert the new battery and
close the door.
Dispose of the used battery in the separa-
te collection centers according to the me-
thods and regulations in force.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Clean the scale with a damp cloth, taking
care not to let water get into the scale.
Do not use chemicals to clean the scale.
Do not immerse the scale in water.
Do not store the scale vertically, this will
drain the battery faster.
Remove the battery if the scale is not used
for a long time.
Treat the scale with care: it is a precision
instrument.
Be careful not to drop it and always climb
nonviolently.
