1 Unpacking the Product
• Remove everything from the box and identify the parts using Figure 1.1. (not to scale)
A: highchair,B:tray,C: tray insert and documents (not shown).
• Discard all packaging materials properly including plastic coverings.
• DO NOT allow children to play with any packaging materials.
!WARNING
Adult assembly is required for this product. No tools required.
2 Unfolding the High Chair
• Keep children away from high chair while unfolding.
• Standtothesideofthefoldedhighchairandwhileholdingthehandle,pullupwardontheseatbackuntilthehighchairisfullyerectand
locked into position. See Figure 2.1.
• Withonefootontherearcrosstube,pushforwardontherearoftheseatbacktoensurethehighchairisfullylockedintoposition.
3 Installing/Removing and Operating the Tray
• Toswingthetrayopen,placeyourfootonthefrontcrosstubeandpressthebuttonontheundersideofthetraywhilepullingthetray
horizontally away from the seat. See Figure 3.1.
• Tocompletelyremovethetray,swingthetrayopen.Thenpullthereleasetabontheleftundersideofthetraywhilepullingupwardonthe
tray. See Figure 3.2.
•Toinstallthetray,orientthetraywiththecupholdertowardsyouandinserttheplasticpostintotheopeningontheleftsideofthehigh
chair until it locks into position. See Figure 3.3.
• Gently pull upward on the tray to ensure it is installed properly.
• Swing the tray closed until the horizontal post on the right side locks into the opening in high chair arm. See Figure 3.4.
• Use caution when closing the tray with the child seated inside the high chair and always ensure that the crotch restraint below the tray is
positionedbetweenthechild’slegs.

The child should be secured in the restraint system at all times.
The tray is not designed to hold the child in the chair.

4 Using the Tray Insert
The tray insert is removable and dishwasher safe.
• Toremovethetrayinsert,pulloutwardandupwardonthehookattachmentsonbothsidesofthetrayinsert.See Figure 4.1. Be sure to lift
straight up to avoid spilling anything on the tray insert.
• Toattachthetrayinsert,tthetrayinsertintothetrayuntilbothsidessnapintoplace.
5 Securing the Child in the Seat
Thereare2heightadjustmentpositionsfortheshoulderharness.Adjusttheheighttotheclosestheightaboveyourchild’sshoulders.
• Toremovetheshoulderharness,turntheplasticendssidewaysandpushthemthroughtheslotsintheseatback.Re-attachtheharness
at the proper height by reinserting the plastic ends through the slots. See Figure 5.1. Ensure both straps are the same height.
• To unlatch the buckle press the center button and remove the male ends of each buckle. See Figure 5.2.
• Carefully place the child in the seat with the shoulder straps over their shoulders and chest. Then place the crotch strap between the
child’slegs.
• Push the shoulder/waist latch posts into the crotch buckle until all parts snap into place. See Figure 5.3.
• Tightenthewaistbelttobesnugaroundthechild’swaist.
• Theshoulder,waist,andcrotchstrapsmaybeadjustedusingtheslidingplasticringsonthesestraps.

6 Folding the High Chair
NOTE:Thehighchaircanbefoldedwiththetrayandtrayinsertattached.Becarefultokeepyourngersfrombeingpinchedbymovingparts.
• Keep children away from high chair while folding.
• Orient the high chair diagonally in front of you.
• Slide the secondary lock all the way across and lift up on the folding mechanism behind the top of the seat back. See Figure 6.1.
• Rotate the seatback down towards the ground until the high chair is completely folded. Note that the high chair does not lock into the
folded position.
• Tocarrythehighchair,grabthehandleontherearoftheseatbottomandgo.
Maintenance
Allofthettings,snaps,locks,rivets,andotherhardwareandplasticpartsonthehighchairshouldbeinspectedperiodicallytoensure
thattheyaresecuredproperlyandnotdamagedormalfunctioning.Therestraintsystem,aswellasallotherfabricitemsandtheirstitching
shouldalsobeinspectedperiodicallytoensurethattheyaresecuredproperlyandnotloose,tornorotherwisedamaged.Allmovingparts,
such as the tray and hinges should also be checked periodically to ensure they are operating properly.
Anymissing,broken,orworncomponentsshouldbereplacedimmediately,andthehighchairshouldnotbeuseduntiltheyarereplaced.
Onlyoriginalmanufacturer’scomponentsshouldbeused.Ifneeded,pleasecontactJoovyatourtoll-freephonenumber.
Cleaning
The fabric material on the high chair can be cleaned using mild household soap or detergent and warm water on a sponge or clean cloth.
Always allow the fabric to completely air dry before using or storing the high chair.

4 Pour utiliser le couvre-plateau

5 Pour attacher l’enfant sur le siège
Ilexistedeuxhauteursderéglagepourlesbretellesduharnais.Réglerlesbretellesàlapositionsituéejusteau-dessusdesépaulesdel’enfant.
• Pourenleverlesbretellesduharnais,tournerleurextrémitéenplastiquedecôté,puislesfairepasserdanslesfentesdudossier.
Rattacherleharnaisàlahauteurappropriéeeninsérantdenouveaul’extrémitéenplastiquedesbretellesdanslesfentesdudossier.
Consulter la gure 5.1.S’assurerquelesdeuxbretellessontàlamêmehauteur.
• Pourdébouclerlaceinture,appuyersurleboutoncentralettirersurlesextrémitésmâlespourlessortirdelaboucle.Consulter la gure 5.2.
• Asseoirdélicatementl’enfantsurlesiègeetplacerlesbretellessursesépaulesetsapoitrine.Passerensuitelasangled’entrejambe
entrelesjambesdel’enfant.
• Insérerensuitelesfourchesdelaceinture(auxquellessontxéeslesbretelles)danslaboucledelasangled’entrejambeetappuyer
jusqu’àcequelespiècess’emboîtentavecundéclic.Consulter la gure 5.3.
• Serrerlaceintureétroitementautourdelatailledel’enfant.
• Pourréglerlalongueurdesbretelles,delaceintureetdelasangled’entrejambe,utiliserleuranneaucoulissantenplastiquerespectif.

6 Pour fermer la chaise haute

• Garder tout enfant à bonne distance de la chaise haute pendant la fermeture.
• Placer la chaise haute en diagonale devant soi.
• Faireglisserleverrousecondaireàlapositionopposéeetsouleverlapoignéedumécanismedefermeture,àl’arrièredudossier.

• Fairepivoterledossierverslesoljusqu’àcequelachaisehautesoitcomplètementfermée.Remarque:lachaisehauteneseverrouille

2 Cómo abrir la silla alta
• Mantenga a los niños alejados de la silla al abrirla.
• Páreseaunladodelasillaaltaplegaday,sosteniendoelmanillar,tiredelrespaldodelasientohaciaarribahastaquelasillaquede
completamenteerguidayjaensuposición.Ver Figura 2.1.
• Conunpieeneltubotransversaltrasero,empujelapartetraseradelrespaldodelasientohaciaadelanteparaasegurarsedequelasilla
altaestécompletamentejaensuposición.
3 Instalación/Remoción y Funcionamiento de la Bandeja
• Paraabrirlabandeja,coloquesupieeneltubotransversalfrontalypresioneelbotónubicadoenlaparteinferiordelamismaalavez
que tira de ella horizontalmente hacia afuera del asiento. Ver Figura 3.1.
• Pararetirarlabandejaporcompleto,ábrala.Luego,jalelalengüetadeliberaciónubicadaenlaparteinferiorizquierdadelabandejaala
vez que tira de la bandeja hacia arriba. Ver Figura 3.2.
•Parainstalarlabandeja,oriéntelaconelportavasoshaciaustedeinserteelpernodeplásticoenlaaberturadelladoizquierdodelasilla
altahastaquesejeensuposición.Ver Figura 3.3.
• Tiredelabandejadelicadamentehaciaarribaparaasegurarsedequeestéinstaladaadecuadamente.
• Cierrelabandejahastaqueelpernohorizontaldelladoderechosejeenlaaberturadelbrazodelasillaalta.Ver Figura 3.4.
• Tenga cuidado al cerrar la bandeja con el niño sentado en la silla alta y siempre asegúrese de que la retención de la entrepierna debajo
delabandejaestéubicadaentrelaspiernasdelniño.

4 Uso de la bandeja
La bandeja es desmontable y puede lavarse en el lavaplatos.
• Pararetirarlabandeja,tiredelastrabasqueseencuentranaambosladosdelabandejahaciaafuerayhaciaarriba.Ver Figura 4.1.
Asegúrese de levantarla en línea recta para evitar derramar lo que haya sobre ella.
• Paravolveracolocarlabandeja,encájelaapresiónsobrelamesahastaquesetrabeporamboslados.
5 Sujeción del niño en el asiento
Hay2posicionesdeajustedealturaparaelarnésdehombros.Ajustelaalturaalamáscercanasobreloshombrosdesuniño.
• Pararetirarelarnésdehombrosgirelosextremosdeplásticolateralmenteyhágalospasarporlasranurasenelrespaldo.Vuelvaa
colocarelarnésalaalturaadecuadavolviendoainsertarlosextremosplásticosenlasranuras.Ver Figura 5.1. Asegúrese de que ambas
correasesténalamismaaltura.
• Para quitar las hebillas presione el botón central y retire el extremo macho de cada una de ellas. Ver Figura 5.2.
• Cuidadosamente coloque al niño en el asiento con las correas de los hombros sobre sus hombros y su pecho. Luego coloque la correa
de la entrepierna entre las piernas del niño.
• Presione las puntas de los pestillos de los hombros/cintura hacia la hebilla de la entrepierna hasta que todas las partes encajen en su
lugar. Ver Figura 5.3.
• Ajuste el cinturón de la cintura para que quede ceñido alrededor de la cintura del niño.
• Lascorreasdeloshombros,lacinturaylaentrepiernapuedenserajustadasutilizandolosanillosplásticosdeslizantesenellas.

6 Cómo cerrar la silla alta
NOTA: La silla puede cerrarse con la mesa y la bandeja instaladas.
• Mantenga a los niños alejados de la silla al cerrarla.
• Oriente la silla alta en forma diagonal frente a usted.
• Deslice el seguro secundario por completo hacia el lado opuesto y levante el mecanismo de plegado detrás de la parte superior del
respaldo del asiento. Ver Figura 6.1.
• Gireelrespaldohaciaabajo,endirecciónalsuelo,hastaquelasillaaltaquedecompletamenteplegada.Tengaencuentaquelasillaalta
no se bloquea en la posición de plegado.
• Paratransportarlasillaalta,tómeladelmanillarenlapartetraseradelasuperciedelasiento.
Mantenimiento
Sedebenrevisarperiódicamentetodoslosaccesorios,trabas,remachesydemáspiezasmetálicasyplásticasdelasillaparaasegurarse
dequeesténbiensujetosynoesténdañadosnifuncionenmal.Elsistemaderetención,ytodoslosotrosobjetosdetelaysuscosturas
tambiéndebenserinspeccionadosperiódicamenteparagarantizarqueesténcorrectamenteaseguradosyquenoesténojos,rotos
odañadosdeotramanera.Además,sedebenrevisarperiódicamentetodaslaspiezasmóviles,comolamesaylasbisagras,para
asegurarse de que funcionen correctamente.
Sedebencambiardeinmediatotodosloscomponentesfaltantes,rotosogastados,ynosedebeusarlasillahastaquenohayansido
cambiados.Solosedebenusarcomponentesoriginales.Silonecesita,porfavorcontácteseconJoovyanuestronúmerodellamada
gratuita.
Limpieza
Los materiales de tela de la silla alta se pueden limpiar utilizando una esponja o un trapo limpio con jabón suave de uso común o
detergente y agua tibia. Siempre deje que la tela se seque al aire por completo antes de utilizar la silla alta.
