TERMOMETRO DIGITALE
Congratulazioni per aver scelto il termometro da fronte Joycare JC-138G
(FDIR-V8). Grazie alla tecnologia ad infrarossi, questo termometro è in gra-
do di fornire misurazioni molto precise e allo stesso tempo istantanee.
COME FUNZIONA ILTERMOMETRO AD INFRAROSSI
Il termometro JOYCARE, attraverso i suoi sensori ad infrarossi, rileva il ca-
lore del usso arterioso sulla fronte. La fronte viene irrorata dall’arteria
temporale, che porta il sangue dal cuore al cervello; il termometro rileva
immediatamente la temperatura corporea in maniera precisa ed adabile.
E’ un metodo di misurazione semplice ed ecace, che presenta numerosi
vantaggi: è rapido, non invasivo, ideale per essere utilizzato sui bambini,
anche nel sonno.
DESTINAZIONE D’USO E NORMA DI RIFERIMENTO
Questo termometro elettrico digitale Joycare JC-138G (FDIR-V8) è un ap-
parecchio per la misurazione della temperatura corporea ad uso domesti-
co. L’apparecchio può essere utilizzato sulla fronte e deve essere utilizzato
seguendo scrupolosamente le istruzioni indicate in questo manuale: ogni
uso diverso da quanto prescritto è da considerarsi improprio. E’un prodotto
conforme alle seguenti Norme: - EN 60601-1 + A1: + A2: + A13: – Apparec-

ad infrarossi digitale Joycare JC-138G (FDIR-V8) è un dispositivo medico di
classe IIa. Classicazione in accordo alla sezione 9, regola 10 della Direttiva
93/42/CEE.
INFORMAZIONI GENERALI
La temperatura media varia da persona a persona a seconda del sesso del
soggetto, dell’età, e nei diversi momenti della giornata; può andare da un
minimo di 35.5°C (95.9°F) no a 37.8°C (100.4°F).
Consigliamo quindi di eettuare diverse rilevazioni successive quando si è
in buono stato di salute, per stabilire qual è l’intervallo entro cui varia la
propria temperatura media.

AVVERTENZE
- Usate il prodotto solo per gli scopi per cui è stato concepito
- Per eettuare misurazioni accurate, assicurarsi che la sonda sia integra,
pulita e asciutta (vedi manutenzione)
- Evitate di misurare la temperatura per 30 min. dopo aver svolto intensa
attività sica, aver mangiato e aver fatto un bagno.

- Non esponete l’apparecchio a temperature eccessive, ai raggi diretti del
sole e alla polvere.
- Conservate il termometro nella sua custodia .
- Evitate di farlo cadere
- Abbiate cura di seguire le indicazioni per il corretto posizionamento e uti-
lizzo.
- Non aprite o cercate di riparare l’apparecchio da soli: ciò farebbe decadere
la garanzia.
- Non smontare il prodotto se non per rimuovere/sostituire la batteria.
- In caso di guasti rivolgersi ad un centro specializzato.
- Non introducete dita o oggetti all’interno della sonda.
- Per pulire l’apparecchio, utilizzate un panno morbido imbevuto di alcool;
non utilizzate solventi o detergenti chimici aggressivi.
- Per pulire la sonda utilizzate del cotone imbevuto di alcool.
COME PROCEDERE PER EFFETTUARE LA MISURAZIONE
- Premere il pulsante di accensione: per essere sicuri del corretto funziona-
mento, al momento dell’accensione controllare che il display visualizzi in
sequenza: tutti i segmenti accesi per alcuni secondi, l’ultima temperatura
rilevata, poi la scritta Lo °C
- Porre la sonda del termometro al centro della fronte, sotto l’attaccatura
dei capelli.
- Premere il tasto SCAN per 3-4 secondi. rilasciare e attendere il bip per visu-
lizzare la temperatura rilevata.
- La temperatura verrà rilevata in 3-4 secondi e immediatamente visualiz-
zata sul display.
NOTA: Se la fronte dovesse essere asciugata dal sudore oppure lavata, que-
sto potrebbe causare un rareddamento della pelle e di conseguenza la
lettura della temperatura non sarebbe più attendibile.
- Se la temperatura rilevata sembra non essere attendibile o instabile si con-
siglia di rivolgersi al centro assistenza autorizzato per vericare il corretto
funzionamento del prodotto o rivolgersi al proprio medico per un consulto.
- Premere nuovamente il pulsante del termometro per eettuare una nuo-
va misurazione.
- Assicurarsi che la pelle sia ben asciutta e pulita, prima di procedere (la pelle
deve essere sempre ben pulita, non bagnata da sudore, acqua ed oli). Se-
guire attentamente le istruzioni sulla misurazione e muovere delicatamen-
te il termometro sempre in leggero contatto con la pelle.
INDICAZIONI PARTICOLARI
- Il movimento attraverso la fronte è necessario per trovare il punto in cui il
livello della temperatura è più alto.
- Leggere con attenzione il manuale d’istruzione prima di procedere alla
misurazione.
- In caso di persistente elevata temperatura, rivolgetevi al vostro medico.

AUTOSPEGNIMENTO
L’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente dopo circa 60 secondi di non utilizzo.
FUNZIONE MEMORIA
Il termometro mantiene in memoria l’ultima misurazione eettuata. All’ac-
censione del termometro il display visualizza poi l’ultima misurazione rilevata.
MANUTENZIONE
Pulizia del prodotto
Pulire sempre il termometro prima o dopo averlo utilizzato, con un panno
morbido inumidito con acqua o con alcool diluito con acqua. Conservare il
prodotto nella custodia di plastica.
Non immergere il prodotto in acqua o in altri liquidi.
Sostituzione della batteria
Se il display non visualizza più i dati, oppure i numeri appaiono di colore
bluastro, o appare il simbolo di batteria in signica che è necessario sosti-
tuire la batteria.
Lo smaltimento delle batterie, dell’apparecchio, o delle sue parti va esegui-
to a norma delle leggi vigenti.
Attenzione: le batterie devono essere sempre posizionate lontano dalla
portata dei bambini e lontano da sorgenti di calore.

FUNZIONE MEMORIA
Il termometro mantiene in memoria le ultime 9 misurazioni eettuate.
All’accensione del termometro il display visualizza poi l’ultima misurazione
rilevata.
Sostituzione della batteria
Prima di utilizzare il prodotto, rimuovere la pellicola in plastica che isola la
batteria dai contatti.
Quando a display compare l’icona di batteria scarica, procedere
alla sostituzione della stessa.
1-Aprire il comparto batterie

HOW THE INFRARED THERMOMETER WORKS
Thanks to its infrared sensors, the Joycare’s thermometer detects heat
of arterial rush in correspondence of forehead. Forehead is supplied by
temporal artery, which carries blood from heart to brain; the thermometer
will immediately detect body temperature in a accurate and reliable
way. This is an easy and an ecacious way to measure, with numerous
advantages: it is rapid, ideal to be used with children, even when they
are sleeping.
DESTINATION OF USE AND REFERENCE RULES
This electric digital Joycare’s thermometer JC-138G (FDIR-V8) is an
instrument to measure body temperature for domestic use.The instrument
can be used on forehead and it must be used following scrupulously
the indicated instructions in this manual: every use dierent from that
prescribed is illegitimate. This is a product conformable to the following

GENERAL INFORMATION
Mean temperature varies from person to person depending on sex, age
and dierent parts of the day. It can go from a minimum of 35.5°C (95.9°F)
to 37.8°C (100.4°F). Thereby, when you are in good health, it is suggested
to eect dierent consecutive measurements to state the range of your
own mean temperature.
READ ACCURATELY USER MANUAL PRECAUTIONS
- Use the device only with the aim it was built for.
- To do accurate measurements, be sure that the probe is integral, clean and
dry (see maintenance).
- Avoid measuring your temperature for at least 30 minutes after having done
an intense physical work, having eaten and having had a bath.
- Don’t expose the instrument to high temperature, to direct sunbeams and
to dust.
- Keep the thermometer in its holder.
- Avoid to knock it o.
- Be careful to follow the instructions for a correct position and use.
- Don’t try to open or repair the instrument alone: the guarantee would decay.
- Don’t disassemble the instrument, except to remove or substitute the
battery.
- In case of breakdown turn to a specialized centre.
- Don’t put ngers or objects into the probe.
- To clean the instrument use a soft cloth soared with alcohol; never use
aggressive chemicals or detergents.
- To clean the probe use some cotton soared with alcohol.
HOW TO PROCEED TO MEASURE
- Push the switching on button: to be sure of a correct operation, when
you switch on the device check that display shows in order: all the
segments lighted for few seconds the last temperature detected.
- Bring the thermometer’s probe near to forehead in the centre, under
the hairline.
- Press the SCAN button for 3-4 seconds. Release the button and wait for
the sound to display the temperature measured.
- The temperature will be detected in 3-4 seconds and display will
immediately visualize it.
Note: If you dry or wash your forehead, skin could become cooled. As a
result measurement of the temperature could not be reliable anymore.
- If the detected temperature seems to be not reliable or instable, it is
suggested to call the authorized service to check that the device works
correctly or call our own doctor for a consulting.
- Push the button again to eect a new measurement.
- Before going on measuring, make sure your skin to be dry and clean
(skin must be always clean, not sweaty, not wet of water or oil). Follow the
instructions with attention and move delicately the thermometer, in light
contact with skin.

PARTICULAR INSTRUCTIONS
-The movement through the forehead is necessary to nd the point of the
highest temperature.
- Read carefully the instruction manual before using.
- When high temperature persists, turn to our own doctor.
AUTOMATIC SWITCHING OFF
The device switches o automatically when it is not in use for about 60 seconds.

MAINTENANCE
Cleaning the product
Before and after using always clean the thermometer with a soft cloth
dampened of water or of alcohol diluted with water. Store the device in its
plastic box. Do not dip the device in water or other liquids.
Battery substitution
If the display doesn’t visualize dates no more, or if numbers are bluish, or
if the battery symbol in
appears, it is necessary to substitute the battery.
The batteries or device or components disposal must be done accor-
ding to laws in force.
Attention: keep always batteries away from children or heat sources.

Conguring the time
1-Press the TIME buttons once to enter time conguration mode. The
hour digits start ashing.
2-Press the STATUS button to decrease and SET to increase

DISPOSAL
The device (including its removable parts and accessories) must not be
disposed of together with municipal waste at the end of its life, but in
compliance with European Directive. Since it must be handled separately
from household waste, either carry it to a separatelycollected waste
disposal centre for electrical and electronic appliances or give it back
to the retailer on purchasing a new device with the same purpose. Any
infringement will be severely prosecuted.

Á travers ses senseures aux infrarouges, le thermomètre JOYCARE relève la
chaleur du ux artériel sur le front. Le front est mouillé par l’artère tempo-
rale qui conduit le sang au cerveau; le thermomètre relève immédiatement

Partie 5: Prestations des thermomètres aux infrarouges. Le thermomètre aux in-
frarouges digital Joycare JC-138G (FDIR-V8) est un dispositif médical de la classe
IIa. Classication en accord à la section 9, règle 10 de la Directive 93/42/CEE.
INFORMATIONS GÉNÉRALES
La température moyenne change de personne à personne selon le sexe du
sujet, de l’âge et selon les diérents moments de la journée; elle peut aller
d’un minimum de 35,5°C ( 95.9°F) jusqu’à 37.8°C ( 100.4°F).
On conseille d’eectuer des diérents relevés successifs quand on est en
bonne santé de façon d’établir dans quel intervalle la température moyen-
ne change.
LISEZ ATTENTIVEMENT LE MANUEL D’EMPLOI PRÉCAUTIONS
- Utilisez le produit que pour les emplois dont il a été creé.
- Pour eectuer des scrupuleux mesurages, s’assurer que la sonde soit
intégrale, propre et bien sèche (voir entretien).
- Attendez 30 minutes pour mesurer la température si vous avez fait une
activité physique, si vous avez mangé ou si vous avez fait un bain.
- N’exposez pas l’appareil à des températures excessives, aux rayons du so-
leil ou à la poussière.
- Gardez le thermomètre dans son étui.
- Évitez de le faire tomber.
- Suivez bien les instructions pour un correct emploi et positionnement.

- N’ouvrez pas et ne réparez pas seuls l’appareil; la garantie pourrait déchoir.
- Démontez le produit que pour déplacer/ou remplacer la batterie.
- En cas d’endommagements adressez-vous à un centre spécialisé.
- N’introduisez pas les doigts ou des objets à l’intérieur de la sonde.
- Pour nettoyer l’appareil, utilisez un linge humide imprégné d’alcool; n’uti-
lisez pas des détergents abrasifs ou chimiques agressifs.
- Pour nettoyer la sonde, utilisez du coton imprégné d’alcool.
COMMENT PROCÉDER POUR EFFECTUER LE MESURAGE
- Appuyer le bouton d’allumage: pour être sûrs d’un correct fonction-
nement, au moment de l’allumage, contrôler que le display visualise en
séquence: tous les segments allumés pour quelques secondes, la dernière
température relevée
- Approchez la sonde du thermomètre au centre du front, au-dessous de
l’attache des cheveux.
- Appuyez sur le bouton SCAN pendant 3-4 secondes. Relâchez le bouton et
attendez que le son pour acher la température mesurée.
- La température sera relevée en 3-4 secondes et elle sera immédiatement
visualisée sur le display.
Note: Si le front est lavé ou essuyé de la sueur, cela causerait un refroidisse-
ment de la peau et de conséquence la lecture de la température ne serait
plus croyable.
Si la température relevée paraît instable ou peu croyable, on conseille de s’a-
dresser à un centre d’assistance autorisé pour vérier le correct fonctionne-
ment du produit ou de s’adresser au propre médecin pour une consultation.
Appuyer de nouveau la touche du thermomètre pour eectuer un nouve-
au mesurage. Avant de procéder ( la peau doit être toujours propre et pas
mouillée de sueur, d’eau ou d’huile), s’assurer que la peau soit bien sèche
et propre.
INDICATIONS PARTICULIÈRES
- Le mouvement sur le front est nécessaire pour trouver le point où le nive-
au de la température est plus élevé.
- Lire attentivement le manuel des instructions avant de procéder au me-
surage.
- En cas d’une haute persistante température, adressez-vous à un médecin.
AUTO-EXTINCTION
L’appareil s’éteint automatiquement après 60 secondes après la n de son
emploi.
FONCTION DE LA MÉMOIRE
Le thermomètre maintient la mémoire du dernier mesurage eectué. Dès
l’allumage du thermomètre, le display visualise et ensuite le dernier mesu-
rage relevé.

ENTRETIEN
Nettoyage du produit
Nettoyer toujours le thermomètre avant ou après l’avoir utilisé, avec un
linge humide d’eau ou d’alcool dilué avec de l’eau. Garder le produit dans
l’étui en plastique. Ne pas immerger le produit dans de l’eau ou dans des
autres liquides.
Remplacement de la batterie
Si le display ne visualise plus les données, ou si les numéros apparaissent
avec une couleur bleu foncé ou si le symbole de la batterie apparaît avec la
il signie qu’il faut remplacer la batterie.
L’élimination des batteries de l’appareil ou de ses pièces est exécutée selon
les normes de loi en vigueur.
Attention: les batteries doivent être toujours installées loin de la portée des
enfants et loin des sources de chaleur.

RÉGLAGE DE L’HEURE
1-Appuyer sur la touche TIME une fois pour entrer en mode réglage de
l’heure. Les chires de l’heure commencent à clignoter.
2-Appuyer sur la touche STATUS pour diminuer les chires et SET pour les
‘augmenter
3-Appuyer à nouveau sur TIME pour passer au réglage des minutes
4-Appuyer sur la touche STATUS pour diminuer les chires et SET pour les
augmenter
