Attention
When installed, the hood must be not less
than60cm.aboveelectricburnersor70cm.
above gas or mixed-fuel burners.
Warning!
— Thehoodcannotbeconnectedtofluesof
other appliances that run on energy
sources other than electricity.
— When the hood is used at the same time
of other appliances that run on energy
sources other than electricity, provision
must be made for an adequate supply of
air.
—No food must be cooked flambé
underneath the hood.
The use of an unprotected flame is
dangerousfor thefilters andcould cause
fires.
Therefore,neveruseanopenflameunder
thehood.Whenfryingfoods,neverleave
the pan alone because the cooking oil
could flare up.
— Please, keep to the provisions of official
directivesregardingthequestion offume
discharge.
— The manufacturers refuse to accept any
responsibility for damage to the hood or
its catching on fire because of failure to
observe the above instructions.
Electric connection
Before completing any connection, make
surethehousevoltagecorrespondswiththe
voltage indicated on the label affixed inside
the hood.
The hood is supplied with a standard plug;
connect it to a correspondingly standard
socket.Inthecaseisintendedtoconnectthe
appliance permanently to the mains after
having removed the plug supplied, must be
fitted a two-pole switch conforming to
regulations with an opening distance
between contacts of not less than 3mm.
The manufacturers are not liable for any
problems caused by the user’s failure to
observe the above instructions.

Mounting of grease filters
Attention! The grease filters are supplied
not mounted and packed in order to avoid
damages during transport of the hood.
Fitthehooksofatthecentreofthehoodand
pushthehandleupwardsuntilthefilterlocks.
Dismountthefiltertheoppositeway(Fig.1):
pull the handle downwards and then at the
side to loosen the filter.
Use
Two systems are available:
— External exhaust system
— Internal recycle system
External exhaust system
Theairisventedoutdoorsbya150mmduct
whichmustbeconnectedtoconnectingring
with no return valve on top of the motor
package.
Internal recycle system
The air is filtered through a carbon filter and
recirculated into the room through the top
sides of the chimney (Fig. 2).
Thisversionisusedwhenthereisnoexhaust
duct for venting outdoors or when it is
impossible to install one.
Mounting of carbon filter (for
recirculating version)
a. Remove the grease filters (Fig. 1).
b. Fix the carbon filter with its two screws
(Fig. 3).
c. Refit the grease filters.

Mounting of hood
First set the telescopic support structure on
the right direction and drill as indicated on
the drilling scheme supplied with the hood.
a. Thetwosectionsofthestructurearefixed
one each other with 8 screws (Fig. 4 -L).
Removeallscrews,regulatethelenghtof
thestructureaccordingtheexigencies,fit
again the 8 screws.
In order to install the cooker hood at
the right height consider also that the
height of the body of the hood is 290
and that a minimum distance from
hobs must be in any case respected.
Choose how to use the hood:
Exhausting version
b. Fit a Ø 150 mm exhausting pipe or flex
tube on the ceiling sufficiently long to
reachtheconnectionringabovethehood,
once the hood will be fit on place.
Recirculating version
c. Fitthedeflectorfromonesideoftheslots
of the upper section of the telescopic
supporting structure (Fig. 5).
Attention!
Slots used must be those perpendicular
to the top fixing points for chimney unit.
d. Fix the deflector with bracket supplied
and 4 screws 2,9x6,5 (Fig. 5).
Fix the deflector also on the other side of
thestructurewithtwootherscrewssame
shape.
e. From the bottom of the telescopic
supporting structure fit the connection
ring supplied (bajonett attachment- turn
clockwise and fix definitively with one
screw 2,9x9,5). (Fig. 6)
f. FitasectionofpipeorflextubeØ150mm
sufficiently long to reach the connection
ring of the hood once this hood will be fit
on place (Fig. 6).
For both versions:
g. Fix the supporting structure to the ceiling
with4screws5x45anddowel(Fig.4-M).
h. Sides with fixing pointsNfor the external
telescopicchimneycorrespondtotheright
and left sides (Fig. 4).
i. The hood is supplied with installation
fittingssuitableformostkindsofceilings,
but in any case a qualified installation
technician must be consulted in order to
choose the best mounting solution.
j. Fix the upper and lower part of the utter
chimney together temporarily with one
screw O2,9x6,5 (Fig. 7).
k. Fix the upper part of the chimney to the
supporting structure with two screws P
2,9x6,5 (Fig. 7).
l. Fit four auto locking nuts on the four pins
located on the upper side of the hood
(Fig. 8).
m.Fittemporarilythehoodonthesupporting
structure by means of the already
mentioned pins with nuts to be inserted
on the proper holes located on the lower
side of the supporting structure.
Rotate the hood until it stops (Q- Fig. 9).
n. Completely thighten the nuts (R- Fig. 9).
o. Securethehood withonescrew4x9,5(S
- Fig. 9).
p. Fit the electrical plug to the power outlet.
q. Removethescrewthatfixthetwopartsof
the outer chimney together (Fig. 7).
r. Slide the lower part of the chimney
downwards and insert it on its proper
housing on the upper side of the hood
(Fig. 10).
s. Fit the grease filters.

Intensive speed button
This speed should be used when the
concentrationof cooking fumesorodours is
particularlystrong(forexamplewhenfrying,
cooking fish etc.).
The fast speed will run for about 5 minutes
and then return to the speed previously set
automatically (1, 2 or 3), or switch off if no
speed was selected. To turn off the fast
speed, before the end of the 5 minutes,
press button Aor button B.
Grease filter saturation led
The led marked Fwarns you when the
grease filter needs to be cleaned.
ThisLEDflashestowarnyouthatthegrease
filters must be cleaned.
Once the grease filters have been cleaned,
press button Aand button Hat the same
timeforabouttwosecondsuntilyouhearthe
acoustic signal (beep): the grease filter
saturation led Fwill now stop flashing.
Carbon filter saturation led
The led marked Cindicates carbon filter
needs to be replaced.
This led flashes to warn you that the carbon
filter must be replaced.
Once you have replaced the carbon filter,
press button Aand button Btogether for
abouttwosecondsuntilyouheartheacoustic
signal (beep). The carbon filter saturation
led Cwill now stop flashing.
N.B.:thecarbonfiltersaturationledwillalso
flashevenifthehoodisusedintheexhausting

Ifthehoodfailstooperatecorrectly,briefly disconnectitfromthemainspowersupply
foralmost5sec.bypullingouttheplug.Thenplugitinagainandtryoncemorebefore
contacting the Technical Assistance Service.

Using the hood
The hood has one variable speed motor. For the best performance, we recommend using the
low speeds in normal conditions and the high speeds in particular cases of strong odour and
vapour concentration.
Werecommendstartingupthehoodafewminutesbeforecookingandkeepingitrunninguntil
all the odours have been eliminated.

version (i.e. without carbon filter).
Tostoptheledflashing,pressthetwobuttons
as described above.
Maintenance
Before performing any maintenance
operation, disconnect the hood from the
electricity.
Grease filter
This serves to hold the grease particles in
suspension.
The metal filter should be washed when the
grease filter saturation LED flashes or
,anyway ,almost once per month.
To remove the metal filters see Fig. 1.
Washitwithwarmsoapywateror,ifpossible,
in the dishwasher (65°C).
Let dry before reinstalling.
Carbon filter
This filter dissolves cooking odours.
It should be changed when the Carbon filter
saturation LED flashes or ,anyway, almost
once per year.
Ask the technical assistance service or
manufacturing company for a new one.
The carbon filter must never be washed.
Toremove the carbon filter, first remove the
grease metal filters and then unscrew the
two screws that holds the grease filter and
pull the filter down (Fig. 3).
Attention
Failure to observe the rules for cleaning the
appliance and changing and cleaning the
filters may cause fires. Therefore, we
recommend observing these instructions.
Changing the lighting elements
a. Withthehelpofascrewdriverremove
thescrewthatsecuresthelampcover
(Fig. 11).
b. Remove the lamp cover.
c. Replace the damaged part with one of
equal rating (PL 9Watt max.).
d. Mount the lamp cover and secure it with
the screw.
Cleaning
To clean the outside of the hood use a cloth
moistenedwithdenaturedalcoholorneutral
liquid detergents.
Never use products containing abrasive.
