SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS
• To avoi a circuit overloa , o not operate another high
wattage appliance on the same circuit.
• If an extension cor is absolutely necessary, a 10-ampere cor
shoul be use . Cor s rate for less amperage may overheat.

CAUTION BEFORE FIRST USE
• The iron has been grease , an as a result, the iron may slightly
smoke when switche on for the first time. After a short while, this
will cease.
• Before using for the first time, remove any sticker or protective foil
from the soleplate. Clean the soleplate with a soft cloth.
• Keep the soleplate smooth: avoi har contact with metal
objects (such as clothes rack, button an sli e fastener).
FILLING THE WATER TANK
• Use preferably emineralize water.
• Make sure the iron is unplugge from the outlet
• Turn the temperature ial to "MIN" an the variable steam ial to
the "0" setting.
• To fill the water tank, open the li of the filling opening an pour
water through the fill opening, the iron put at an angle of 45°,
using the beaker. Never excee the MAX mark in icate in on
the appliance.
• When ironing, unplug the appliance before refilling. Fill the water
tank by hol ing the appliance in 45° angle position without
putting own the hot soleplate, unless you have a heat-resistant
base.
TEMPERATURE SETTINGS
• You can choose the temperature setting in function of the
material of cloth to iron.
• In or er to turn the iron to the esire temperature, please turn the
temperature knob clockwise into the require position (see table
below). If you have a oubt, take a look at the garment’s label.

AUTO SHUT-OFF FEATURE
Your iron is equippe with an auto shut-off feature. This safety
measure will shut the iron off when etecting no movement.
When in horizontal position, please note that the iron will shut off
automatically when no movement is etecte uring a 30 secon s
perio . When in vertical position (stan ing on its heel), please note
that the iron will shut off automatically when no movement is
etecte for 8 minutes.
ANTI DRIP FEATURE
This iron is equippe with an anti rip feature that will protects fabrics
from water spotting even at low temperatures.
DRY IRONING
• Unwin the power cor .
• Plug the appliance in the socket.
• Turn the variable steam ial (steam regulator) on position 0.
• Before running the iron, please classify the clothes as per their
label, as it will be quicker for the iron to heat up than to cool, the
clothes (such as synthetic fabric, silk etc) with lower ironing
temperature shall be irone first, an then iron the clothes (such
as wool, cotton an linen etc) compatible with higher
temperature settings

• Plug in the iron an select the temperature by turning the
thermostat ial. If there is water in the reservoir, make sure the
steam regulator is set to OFF position. Wait until the in icator light
goes off, showing that the require temperature has been
reache .
STEAM IRONING
• Fill water in the iron as per the water-filling metho above.
• Unwin the power cor .
• Plug the appliance in the socket.
• Set the thermostat ial to MAX position, otherwise water may leak
from the soleplate.
• Put the iron on its heel to warm up, until the in icator light goes
off.
• Set the steam regulator correctly, increase the steam output by
rotating the steam regulator anticlockwise, otherwise ecrease
the steam output by rotating it clockwise.
Caution: Set the temperature ial within the steam range (' ' or
' '). If temperature setting is too low, water may rip from
soleplate.
Check the garment label before ironing because some clothes may
be amage when expose to steam or water. Typically, synthetic
fabrics, nylon, synthetic silk an silk cannot be irone with steam
otherwise it may amage the fabric.
BURST OF STEAM / VERTICAL STEAM
The burst of steam feature provi es a itional steam for
removing stubborn creases.
• Set the thermostat ial button to MAX, wait until the in icator light
goes off.
• Release the steam by pressing the steam button.
• Wait for several minutes an let the steam penetrate through the
fabric, an then release more steam through pressing this button
again.

Note:
• There shoul be 3-5 secon s rest between two times of pressing
Steam Button in or er to obtain the best steaming result.
• Fill the water to the Max position before using this function.
• In or er to prevent the water leaking from the soleplate, please
o not press the steam button continuously for more than 5
secon s.
This button also allows you to iron elicate articles of clothing
vertically. This feature is calle "vertical steam". To o so, hang your
article of clothing on a hanger, keep the steam button presse an
pass the iron to an fro in front of the article of clothing, making sure
that the soleplate oes not come into contact with the article of
clothing. The istance between the soleplate an the article of
clothing epen s on the kin of textile an the creases.
SPRAY
• Pro uces a mist for removing stubborn creases.
• Spray can be use at any temperature setting an uring
either ry or steam pressing, provi e there is water in the tank.

SELF-CLEANING
To remove irt an ust, the iron shoul be cleane at least once a
month.
• Fill the iron with water to 1/2 of its maximum capacity. Turn the
steam regulator to “0” or “No Steam” position an the thermostat
ial to the MIN position. Plug the iron into the mains socket.
• Turn the thermostat ial to Max position.
• Wait until the power in icator light goes off, i.e. the steam iron
has reache its preset temperature.
• Hol the iron horizontally over a sink or basin.
• Press the “Self-cleaning button” an hol it own while shaking
the iron lightly to eliminate the irt. The plate gives off hot water
an steam.

• During this operation you can press the steam button a number
of times, remembering to pause for at least five secon s between
one burst of steam an the next.
• When the tank is empty, release the Self-cleaning button.
• At the en , turn the thermostat ial to the MIN position an
unplug the iron from the mains socket. Leave the iron to cool an
clean the plate with a soft cloth.
RETRACTABLE CORD
• To unwin , simply pull the cor to esire length. Do not try to
unwin cor beyon its maximum capacity (See : Fig. 2)
• In case the cor is not pulle out easily, pull cor firmly.
• To rewin the cor , please hol the cor firmly in one han while
pressing an hol ing the “Cor Release” Button while gui ing the
cor into the storage area. Failure to hol the plug may cause
plug to fly an hit you or objects/persons aroun you (See : Fig. 3)
• The cor reel is compact, to enable a multi-layer win ing of the
cor . In case the cor cannot fully rewin , pull out the cor an
steer cor evenly on the reel.
CAUTION: Always hol the plug while retracting the cor . Do not let
the cor retract freely. Cor may jam on reel or loose cor may whip
back an forth an coul cause injury. Do not allow chil ren to play
with the retractable cor feature as the cor may cause injury.

WHEN YOU ARE FINISHED IRONING
• Turn the temperature ial to "MIN" an unplug iron from electrical
outlet.
• Rewin the power cor .
• With the soleplate facing away from you, turn the iron upsi e
own to empty the water tank.
• Then store the hot iron on its heel so that any remaining moisture
will evaporate. When the soleplate has totally coole own, you
may store the iron away.
CARE AND CLEANING
• Clean the iron regularly accor ing to the har ness of the water
an the use frequency (see section : SELF CLEANING)
• Never use vinegar or other liquids to descale the iron internally.
• To clean the plastic parts of the iron, use a humi cloth.
• To clean the stainless steel soleplate, make sure you use a
pro uct ma e especially for this purpose. Never use abrasive
pro ucts.
• Wipe off the soleplate with a amp cloth an a non-abrasive
(liqui ) cleaner.
• If the fiber a heres to the soleplate, use a amp cloth with
vinegar to wipe off the soleplate.
• Never use strong aci or alkali in or er to avoi amaging the
soleplate.
• If limescale blocks the steam hole, please remove it with a
toothpick; taking care not to amage the surface of the soleplate.

TROUBLESHOOTING
Iron won’t heat
* Is the iron plugge in an the outlet working? Check the
outlet by plugging in a lamp.
* Is the Thermostat Dial turne to a fabric setting?
Water is leaking
out of the iron
* Do not overfill the water tank.
* If steam ironing, is Steam Regulator in the steam position
an the Thermostat Dial in the steam range ? Di the iron
have enough time to preheat?
* If ry ironing, make sure the Steam Regulator is in the 0
(no steam) position.
* If using burst steam, press button less frequently (not
more than once every two secon s.
* Follow the Self-cleaning instructions one or two times with
tap water (not istille ) to “con ition” the iron.

* Check the water level.
* Is the Steam Regulator in the STEAM position?
* Has the iron ha enough time to preheat?
