15. Do not use appliance for other than intended use.
16. Only use this citrus press to extract the juice from tender fruits
(orange, lemon, grapefruit...). Never try to extract the juice from
fruits such as pineapple, mango or other fruits that are too hard
and/or too large.
17. This kind of appliance cannot function continuously; it is not a
professional type of appliance. It is necessary to make temporary
stops. Check the section “Important information" in the
instruction manual.
18. It is a solutely necessary to keep this appliance clean at all times
as it comes into direct contact with food.
19. The appliance is designed for extracting a small quantity of juice.
It is not designed for preparing large quantities at once.
20. Never touch the mova le part with your hands in order not to get
hurt. Do not force the mechanism, y squeezing too hard on the
fruit you are pressing.

SHORT CORD INSTRUCTIONS
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the hazards resulting
from ecoming entangled in, or tripping over a longer cord.
Extension cords may e used if care is exercised in their use.
• The electrical rating of the extension cord should e at least
that of the appliance. If the electrical rating of the extension
cord is too low, it could overheat and urn.
• The resulting extended cord should e arranged so that it will
not drape over the counter top or ta letop where it can e
pulled on y children or tripped over.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
This appliance is not for professional use. You should follow the
requested reaks. Failure to follow this instruction carefully may result
in damage to the motor. The maximum continuous usage time is 1
minute. After 1 minute of continuous use, you should insert a reak of
at least 10 minutes. We recommend to work by cycles: 15 seconds
on / 15 seconds of break, for 10 cycles maximum.
ASSEMBLY AND USE
• Check prior to any assem ly or disassem ly that the power cord
is not connected to the wall outlet.
• Make sure the rotating shaft (c) is well in place and inserted into
the ase (d)
Note: the shaft is remova le, if this is needed for cleaning
• Put the pitcher ( ) on the ase (d), inserting the notches at the
ottom of the pitcher into the grooves of the ase, and turn the
pitcher clockwise to lock it in place.
• Put the strainer assem ly (g + h) in the correct position, on top of
the pitcher.
• Put the small reamer (f) on the shaft (c) of the ase.
• Plug in the appliance, y inserting the plug in a wall outlet.
• Cut the citrus in 2 pieces, cutting across sections.
• Press gently each half of the fruit on the cone. The citrus press will
start operating automatically, y turning to the right or to the left.
• Stop pressing on the reamer and the operation will stop
automatically too.
• If the fruit is too ig (orange, grape fruit), please use the ig
reamer y putting it aver the smaller one. The 2 gaps at the
ottom of the ig reamer must e placed over the 2 wings of the
small reamer.
• Once all the juice has een extracted, remove the pitcher, simply
y turning it counter-clockwise and lifting it from the ase. Now
you can pour the juice into a glass and enjoy a delicious, fresh
cup of juice.
• When finished, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.



MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND STORAGE
• Check prior to any assem ly or disassem ly that the power cord
is not connected to the wall outlet.
• Turn the pitcher ( ) counter-clockwise to unlock it and lift from the
ase (d).
• Lift the strainer assem ly (g+h) with the reamer(s), away from the
pitcher ( ).
• Gently remove the reamer(s) from the strainer assem ly (g+h).
• Gently separate the 2 reamers (f + e) if inserted into each other. It
helps holding the wings of the small reamer in one hand, while
gently pressing on oth sides of the ig reamer a ove the wings,
etween thum and index finger of the other hand, and lifting.
• Clean all the accessories of the appliance in warm soapy water
and rinse them with clear water. Do not put the accessories in the
dishwasher. Pat dry efore reassem ling all the parts.
• Never put the motor lock in the dishwasher. To clean the motor
housing, wipe with slightly damp cloth, only when necessary.
Never immerse the motor housing in water or any other liquid.
• For storage, reassem le the unit completely after cleaning and
drying, and place the transparent cover (a) on top of the unit to
protect the parts from dust.
• The ase is equipped with cord storage, where excess ca le
lengths can e coiled.



WARRANTY
We suggest that you complete and return the enclosed Product
Registration Card promptly to facilitate verification of the date of
original purchase. However, return of the Product Registration Card is
not a condition of these warranties. You can also fill out this warranty

This KALORIK product is warranted in the U.S.A. for 1 year from the
date of purchase against defects in material and workmanship. This
warranty is not transfera le. Keep the original sales receipt. Proof of
purchase is required to o tain warranty performance.
During this period, if the KALORIK product, upon inspection y
KALORIK, is proven defective, it will e repaired or replaced, at
Kalorik’s option, without charge to the customer. If a replacement
product is sent, it will carry the remaining warranty of the original
product.
This warranty does not apply to any defect arising from a uyer's or
user's misuse of the product, negligence, failure to follow KALORIK
instructions noted in the user’s manual, use on current or voltage
other than that stamped on the product, wear and tear, alteration
or repair not authorized y KALORIK, or use for commercial purposes.
There is no warranty for glass parts, glass containers, filter asket,
lades and agitators, and accessories in general. There is also no
warranty for parts lost y the user.
ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS WITH RESPECT TO
THIS PRODUCT IS ALSO LIMITED TO THE ONE YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

If the appliance should ecome defective within the warranty
period and more than 30 days after date of purchase, do not return

INSTRUCCIONES DEL CABLE
El ca le de alimentación del aparato es un ca le corto a fin de

TIEMPO DE UTILIZACIÓN
Este aparato no está conce ido para un uso profesional. Para una
utilización óptima de su aparato y evitar el deterioro de su motor, el
tiempo de utilización continuada máxima es 5 minutos. Después de
1 minutos de uso continuo, es necesario hacer una pausa de
utilización de al menos 10 minutos. Le recomendamos una

MONTAJE Y UTILIZACIÓN

, y gírela en el sentido de las agujas del reloj para loquearla.
• Ponga el filtro (g+h) en la posición correcta so re la jarra.
• Ponga el cono pequeño (f) so re el eje central del motor (c).
• Enchufe el aparato a la corriente eléctrica.
• Corte la fruta únicamente en dos pedazos en dirección
horizontal.
• Ejerza una presión so re la fruta y so re el cono central del
exprimidor. El exprimidor empieza automáticamente a extraer el
zumo girando hacia la izquierda y la derecha.
• Deje de presionar so re el cono y el funcionamiento se parara
automáticamente.
• Si la fruta es demasiada grande, utilice el cono grande
colocándolo so re el cono pequeño. Ponga el cono grande
so re el pequeño. Los 2 espacios en el cono grande se de en
encajar en las 2 alas del cono pequeño.
• Quite la jarra, simplemente girando a la izquierda y levantándola
de la ase. Ahora puede echar el zumo en un vaso y gozar de
un jugo delicioso.
• Desenchufe el aparato después del uso.



MANTENIMIENTO, LIMPIEZA Y ALMACENAMIENTO
• Comprue e antes de cualquier montaje o desmontaje que el
aparato no esta enchufado.
• Gire la jarra ( ) hacia la izquierda y levántela de la ase (d).
• Levante el filtro (g+h) con el cono(s) de la jarra ( ).
• Retire el cono (s) del filtro (g+h).
• Separe los 2 conos (f + e) si insertados uno dentro del otro. Para
ayudarse sujete las aletas del cono pequeño con una mano y
con el dedo gordo y el índice sujete el cono grande por la parte
situada so re las aletas y tire del cono para extraerlo.
• Limpie los accesorios del aparato con agua ja onosa caliente.
No ponga ninguna parte en el lavavajillas. Seque ien las piezas
antes del ensam laje.
• Para limpiar al loque motor pase un trapo humedecido por
encima. No sumerja el bloque motor nunca en el agua u otros
líquidos.
• Para guardar su aparato, monte la unidad completamente
después de su limpieza y secado, y coloque la cu ierta
transparente (a) para proteger las partes del polvo.
• La ase tiene un recoge-ca les donde el exceso de ca le
puede ser enrollado.



14. N’utilisez ce presse-fruits que pour extraire le jus des fruits tendres
(orange, citrons, pamplemousses,...). N’essayez pas d’extraire le
jus de fruits comme les ananas, les mangues ou autres fruits trop
durs et/ou trop grands.
15. Ce genre d’appareil ne peut fonctionner de façon continue, il ne
s’agit pas d’un appareil de type professionnel. Il est nécessaire
d’effectuer des pauses à intervalles réguliers. Consultez la
ru rique « Intervalles d’utilisation » du mode d’emploi.
16. Il est indispensa le de garder cet appareil propre étant donné

17. L’appareil est conçu pour l’extraction d’une petite quantité de

Certains appareils ont une prise polarisée (une des deux tiges
métalliques est plus longue que l’autre). Pour réduire le risque de
choc électrique, cette prise ne peut être introduite que d’une seule
façon dans la fiche murale. Si cette prise ne rentre pas correctement
dans la fiche, retournez-la. Si elle ne rentre toujours pas, contactez
un électricien qualifié et reconnu. N’essayez jamais de modifier
vous-même la prise polarisée.

CONSIGNES CONCERNANT LE CORDON
Le cordon d’alimentation de l’appareil est un cordon de type court,
et ce afin de diminuer les risques d’accidents (chute si vous marchez
sur le cordon...). Vous pouvez toutefois utiliser une rallonge si
nécessaire mais:
• Assurez-vous que l'ampérage de la rallonge soit égal ou
supérieur à celui de l'appareil. Une rallonge avec un
ampérage inférieur à celui de l'appareil risquerait de
surchauffer et de rûler.
• La rallonge ne doit pas pendre du plan de travail ou de la
ta le afin d'éviter que les enfants ne le tirent ou tré uchent.

INTERVALLES D’UTILISATION
Cet appareil ne peut être utilisé de façon professionnelle. Vous
devez respecter les pauses de fonctionnement. Dans le cas
contraire vous risqueriez d’endommager le moteur. La durée
maximale d’utilisation continue est de 1 minute en continu. Après
une utilisation continue de 1 minute, il est nécessaire d'effectuer une
pause de fonctionnement d'au moins 10 minutes. Nous
recommandons de procéder par cycles : 15 secondes en marche /
15 secondes en arrêt, pendant 10 cycles au maximum.
MONTAGE ET UTILISATION
• Avant toute opération d’assem lage ou de désassem lage,
vérifiez que le cordon d’alimentation n’est pas connecté à une
prise de courant.
• Assurez-vous que l’axe (c) est ien inséré dans la ase (d).
• Placez la verseuse ( ) sur le loc moteur (d), en insérant les ergots
situés à la ase du pichet dans les encoches placées sur le loc
moteur, et faites-la tourner dans le sens des aiguilles d'une
montre pour la verrouiller.
• Insérez le filtre (g+h) en place au-dessus du pichet.
• Placez le petit cône (f) sur l'axe (c) du loc moteur.
• Branchez l'appareil sur une prise de courant.
• Coupez le fruit en deux, horizontalement.
• Pressez le fruit contre le cône, pour en extraire le jus. Cette
pression mettra en route la rotation du cône vers la gauche et
vers la droite.
• Arrêtez de presser le fruit sure le cône et le loc-moteur s’arrêtera
également automatiquement.
• Si le fruit est trop grand, placez le grand cône sur le petit cône.
Les deux encoches du grand cône doivent se verrouiller au
niveau des ailettes du petit cône.
• Une fois le jus pressé, retirez la verseuse. Pour cela, tournez le
pichet dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre et
soulevez-le hors de sa ase. Vous pouvez maintenant en versez le
contenu directement dans un verre et déguster un délicieux jus
de fruit frais.
• Après l'utilisation, dé ranchez l'appareil de la prise de courant.



NETTOYAGE, ENTRETIEN ET RANGEMENT
• Avant toute opération d’assem lage ou de désassem lage,
vérifiez que le cordon d’alimentation n’est pas connecté à une
prise de courant.
• Pivotez la verseuse ( ) dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une
montre et soulevez-la hors de sa ase (d).
• Retirez en soulevant le loc des filtres (g+h) avec les cônes.
• Retirez soigneusement les cônes de la partie filtre (g+h).
• Séparez les deux cônes (f+e) si ils sont insérés l’un dans l’autre. Il
est plus facile de procéder en tenant les deux ailettes du petit
cône dans une main, pendant qu’avec l’autre main vous pressez
sur les côtés du grand cône, entre le pouce et l’index, en le
soulevant.
• Lavez les accessoires de votre appareil dans de l’eau chaude
savonneuse et rincez-les à l’eau claire. Ne les placez pas au lave-
vaisselle. Séchez-les soigneusement avant de les réassem ler.
• Pour nettoyer le loc moteur, utilisez un chiffon humide, si
nécessaire. Ne le plongez jamais dans l'eau ou dans tout autre
liquide.
• Pour le rangement de l’appareil, réassem lez complètement le
presse-agrume après l’avoir nettoyé et séché, puis placez au-
dessus le couvercle transparent (a), pour protéger l’appareil de
la poussière.
• Le loc-moteur est équipé d’un compartiment range-câ le, ou
les longueurs de câ le excédentaires peuvent être enroulées.
