To optimise the performance of this product, please read these operating instructions carefully to familiarise yourself with the
basic operations of this unit. After you have read the instructions, please retain them for future reference.
This unit has been tested at the factory before being shipped to you.
To prevent or reduce the risk of electrical shock or fire, do not expose the unit to rain or moisture. To prevent a fire hazard, do not
expose the unit to any naked flame sources. Unplug this apparatus during lightning storms or if it is unlikely to be used for long
periods of time.
When installing the unit, please ensure you leave enough space around the unit for ventilation. Slots and openings in the unit are
provided for ventilation to ensure reliable operation of the product and to protect it from overheating. To prevent fire hazard, the
openings should never be blocked or covered.
Always handle the power cable by the plug. Never pull out the plug by pulling on the cable. Never touch the power cable when
your hands are wet as this could cause an electric shock. Do not tie a knot in the cable. The power cable should be placed such
that it is not likely to be stepped on. A damaged power cable can cause a fire or give you an electrical shock. Check
the power cord periodicaly, if you ever find that it is damaged, replace it before using the unit again. Contact your retailer for a
replacement.
The voltage of the available power supply differs according to country or region. Be sure that the power supply voltage of the area
where this unit is to be used meets the required written on the unit.
The lightning flash symbol inside a triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence high voltage within the unit’s
enclosure that may be of sufficient power to constitute a risk of electrical shock to persons.
Caution: to prevent the risk of electric shock, do not attempt to open the unit. No user-serviceable parts inside. Refer all
servicing to qualified service personnel.
The exclamation mark inside a triangle is intended to alert the user to the presence of important operating and
maintenance instructions in the literature accompanying the appliance.
Any modification carried out on the unit may invalidate the unit‟s warranty.
If applicable, only use the stand, tripod or bracket specified or sold with the apparatus.
Select the installation location of your unit carefully. Avoid placing it in direct sunlight or locations subject to vibration and
excessive dust. Do not use the unit where there are extremes in temperature (below 41ºF / 5ºC or exceeding 95ºF / 35ºC).
Unpacking and safety: Please unpack your new product carefully, your new product should reach you in perfect condition. Please
check that no damage has occurred during transit. If any damage is found, do not operate your unit. Please contact the retailer
you purchased it from immediately. If there is any damage to the mains cable do not use the device. Always disconnect the unit
from the mains supply when carrying out any servicing or cleaning of the unit.
The serial number for this equipment should be located on the rear or underside of the unit. Please make a note of this number as
you will need it for your warranty, it is a good idea to keep a copy of the serial number for your own records.

Installation methods
This unit can be fixed to a flat floor surface, wall or ceiling. If you choose to mount the unit please use the appropriate
equipment to ensure the unit is completely secured to the wall/ceiling to avoid any problems.

Function
The unit has 3 main functions.
1. Auto mode 2. Sound mode 3. DMX mode
Insert the mains lead into the IEC socket on the rear panel. When the unit is switched on it will return to the original
setting. The display will first show „reset‟ and after 2 seconds, the unit will return to the working mode which it was last
set to.
Auto mode
Hold the “MENU” button until the mode has changed to the Auto mode.
Press the “MENU” button again to choose the separate functions within auto mode. Then by pressing the “UP” or
“DOWN” buttons you can change the value of the mode.
Mode specification
Prg XX (01-08): when the display shows Prg XX you can choose the program. There are 8 programs to choose
from. Use the up and down buttons to select the desired mode.

Spd XX (01-10): when the display shows Spd XX you can set the speed of the program. There are 10 speeds to
choose from. 01 is the fastest speed and 10 is the slowest speed. Use the up and down buttons to
select the desired speed.
Stb XX (01-10): when the display shows Stb XX use the up and down buttons to select the desired speed of the
Strobe. 00 value is no strobe.
Fad XX (01-10): when the display shows Fad XX use the up/down buttons to select desired speed of the
fade.There are 10 fade steps for you to choose from. 01 is the fastest fade and 10 is the slowest
fade.
Note: If you set up the strobe and fade together, the strobe will have priority. If the Stb or Fad is not set to 0 the fixture
will run the strobe mode not fade mode.
Audio mode
Hold the “MENU” button until the display changes to the Audio mode,
Press the “MENU” button again to choose the separate functions within audio mode. Then by pressing the “UP” or
“DOWN” buttons you can change the value of the mode.

will run the strobe mode not fade mode.
You can adjust the sound sensitivity of the unit by adjusting the control knob on the rear panel.
1. Master / Slave Mode without DMX controller
Only one unit must be set as the master unit.
By using the instructions above, set the master unit to the desired setting. For example, auto mode.
Slave units
Hold the “MENU” button until the mode has changed to the DMX mode. By pressing the “UP” or “DOWN” buttons
select the DMX value address of 001. This puts the unit into slave mode. All slave units must be set to 001.
Starting with the master unit, connect a 3 pin DMX cable to the DMX out socket of the master unit and then
connect the other end of the DMX lead to the input of the slave unit. Continue to link all slave units together as
shown below.

DMX linking:
Each unit uses 11 DMX channels.
If control of all units is to be the same, each unit must have the same DMX address value.
Hold the “MENU” button until the mode has changed to the DMX mode. By pressing the “UP” or “DOWN” buttons
select the DMX value address. For example, if all units are set to DMX address 001 they will all display the same.
If individual control of each unit is required via a DMX controller, each unit must have its own DMX address and each
address must be at least 11 channels apart. For example, hold the “MENU” button until the mode has changed to the
DMX mode. By pressing the “UP” or “DOWN” buttons select the DMX value address. Set the first unit to 001 and
then the second unit to 012 and so on, each unit must be 11 channels apart. No unit channels must cross over.
Now control of each individual unit is available via the DMX controller.
