1. Assemble the lantern
Carefullyorganizeandplaceallpartsona
smooth,flatsurface.lineupalloftheparts
accordingtotheassemblydiagram.
Place thelanternbody(B)tobottom ofthe roof
assembly(C)andsecurewithtwofinials(A).

Removethemountingplateassembly(BB)from
theroofassembly(C)byunscrewingthetwo
finials(DD).
DANGER:Ensurethepowerisoff atthemain
fusebox priorto beginning installation.
2. Installingthemounting plate
Turnoff the switchatthe wall.
Turnthepoweroffatthemainfusebox.
Attachthe mounting plate (BB)tothe outletbox
usingtheoutletboxscrews (CC).

underthegroundscrew(EE)on themounting
plate(BB).
Connectthefixturebare copperground wire (1)
tothegreen(orbare,orgreen&yellow)supply
groundwire(2)intheoutletboxusingawire
nut(AA).
Connectthewhitefixture wire (3)tothe white
(orribbed)supplywire (4)inthe outletbox
usingawirenut(AA).
Connecttheblackfixture wire (5)tothe black
(orred,orblue)supplywire (6)inthe outletbox

Raisefixturebodytothewallandcarefully
tuckthewiresinsidetheoutletbox.spreadthe
electricalsplicessothattheblackwires are on
onesideoftheoutletboxandthewhite wires
areontheotherside.lineupscrewswithholes
inbackplateandsecurewithtwofinials (DD).
