Mixing bowl
Note
The AT957A pack is supplied
with 2 paddles marked (C) and
(M) – see chart to check paddle
compatibility for your Stand
Mixer. Your model number/type
can be located on the rating
plate on the underside of the
power unit.
To Use Your Frozen
Dessert Maker
1 Lock the plastic mixing bowl
onto the machine.
2 Add the freezing bowl direct
from the freezer, then position
the paddle.
3 Fit the cover on top.
4 Lower the mixer head,
inserting the metal pin into
the plastic hole 1. If the mixer
head will not shut, raise it,
then manually reposition the
paddle to align with the metal
pin.
5 Switch the machine onto its
minimum speed.
lTHE MACHINE MUST BE
SWITCHED ON BEFORE
ADDING THE ICE CREAM OR
SORBET MIX, TO PREVENT
THE MIX FROM IMMEDIATELY
FREEZING ON THE INSIDE OF
THE BOWL.
6 Using the chute, pour the ice
cream or sorbet mix into the
Frozen Dessert Maker.
7 After about half an hour, the
ice cream should be ready
to serve. Turn off the Stand
Mixer.
8 If the ice cream or sorbet is
not to be used immediately,
spoon the mix into a suitable
container and store in a
freezer until it is required.
lStore your freezer bowl in an upright
position in your freezer, otherwise
this can affect performance.
Hints and Guidelines for Safe and Succesful Operation of Frozen
Dessert Maker Attachment
l The freezing bowl should be placed in a freezer that is operating
at -18°C or below for between 24-48 hours before use. Freezing
time will depend on efficiency of your freezer.
l For best performance store the bowl in either the top or bottom
drawer of your freezer in an upright position.
