1 Basic Information
The device must be repaired only by trained specialist staff or personnel with professional formation
(such as a repair-specialist accredited by law concerning verification). The service manual is obligatory
for repair work. After repair, original conditions of the device have to be restored. Only original spare
parts should be used.
Instructions about conformity-evaluated scales:
Repair must be carried only at 100% compliance with the type approval. A violation of this
specification will result in a loss of the type approval! The operation and configuration of each scale is
described in the accompanying manual of the scale. Any safety information in respect for verification
are also described in the accompanying manual

This service manual covers the FOB_S series and is edited for the authorized servicing personnel.

3 SET-UP FLOW CHART
Please press for 3 seconds, First SET will display on the screen, and then it will change to
UNIT display automatically. Use key to move ↓ direction and key to move → direction.

Description
Solution
Nothing appears on the
display after pushing ON/OFF
key.
1. Check display.
2. Disassemble indicator.
3. Check wires and control
panel.
Can’t switch on scale using
AC adaptor.
1. AC adaptor damaged.
→Replace adaptor.
2. AC jack wires are
disconnected.
Low Battery
This warning shows that the
voltage of battery is too low to
use.
Please replace new batteries
or plug the AC adaptor for
operation.
Counting error (too low)
The loading is lower than limit
when power on.
1. Please increase the
loading and try again.
2. Check the load cell and its
wiring.
3. Replace new deck.
Counting error (too high)
Scales zeroed exceed its
initial balance.
1. Remove the weight from
scale.
2. Check the load cell’s
resistance.
3. Replace new deck.
Overload
The loading is over limit when
power on, please reduce the
loading and try again.
Remove the weight from
scale.
Overload: Max. Capacity + 9d.
EEPROM error
The program of the scale has
error.
Replace controller PCB, and
re-calibrate the scale.
