When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed.
Please read and save all instructions before using the Frozen Treat Maker.
1. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse power cord, plug or base in water or any other liquid.
2. Always operate this unit on a flat stable surface.
3. Do not use the frozen treat maker for other than intended use. Do not use outdoors. For household use only.
4. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is being used by or near children. Children should not play with this
unit. This frozen treat maker is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or
mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction
concerning the use of the frozen treat maker by a person responsible for their safety.
5. Never leave the frozen treat maker unattended while it is operating.
6. Always unplug this unit from the electrical outlet when not in use, before cleaning, and before putting on or taking off the
attachments.
7. Do not operate the frozen treat maker with a damaged power cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or is
dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the frozen treat maker to the warranty center for examination, repair, or
electrical or mechanical adjustment. See warranty page. Do not attempt to repair the frozen treat maker yourself.
8. Do not let the power cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or touch any hot surface.
9. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the manufacturer may result in fire, electrical shock, or risk of
injury.
10. Do not place the frozen treat maker on or near hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
11. Keep hands, clothing, as well as spatulas and other utensils away from the grinder during operation to reduce the risk of
injury to persons, and/or damage to the frozen treat maker. ALWAYS avoid contact with moving parts.
12. Do NOT use this drink mixer as an ice crusher as you may damage the grinder and/or the motor.
13. Never operate this unit when the chute is empty and do not remove the grinder assembly before the grinder comes to a
complete stop.
14. The grinder is sharp. USE EXTREME CAUTION when handling the grinder, especially when removing the grinder assembly
from the chute and during cleaning.
15. Never place the blade assembly on the drink mixer base without the bottle properly attached.
16. Do NOT operate this unit for more than 5 continuous minutes. Allow it to rest for 5 minutes before using again. After 3
cycles allow the unit to cool completely before using again.
17. Make sure the chute, grinder, and dispenser are locked securely in place before operating.
18. Use the plunger to force frozen fruit into the chute. NEVER use your hands to force ingredients into the unit.
19. Check the unit for any foreign objects prior to use.

Read and understand all instructions. Failure to follow all instructions listed below may result in electric shock, fire or
serious personal injury. The warnings, cautions, and instruction discussed in this instruction manual cannot cover all
possible conditions and situations that may occur. It must be understood by the operator that common sense and caution
are a factor which cannot be built into this product, but must be supplied by the operator.
SAVE ALL INSTRUCTIONS!
CAUTION:
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord. Extension cords are available from local hardware stores and may be used if care is exercised
in their use. If an extension cord is required, special care and caution is necessary. Also the cord must be: (1) marked
with an electrical rating of 125V, and at least 13 A., 1625 W., and (2) the cord must be arranged so that it will not drape
over the countertop or tabletop where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over accidentally.
POLARIZED PLUG
NOTE:
This frozen treat maker has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
As a safety feature to reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit in a polarized outlet only one way.
If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
ELECTRIC POWER
If electric circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliances may not operate properly. The appliances should be
operated on a separate electrical circuit from other operating appliances.
SAFETY WARNING
Although your frozen treat maker is easy to operate, for your safety, the warnings below must be followed:
1. Do not place the frozen treat maker near a heat source.
2. Never leave the frozen treat maker unattended while connected to the electrical outlet.
3. Use the frozen treat maker on a stable work surface away from water.
4. Do not unplug from the wall socket by pulling on the supply cord.
5. The frozen treat maker must be unplugged:
A. After each use.
B. If it appears to be faulty.
C. Before cleaning or maintenance.

TO ASSEMBLE
Although the Chute Assembly comes completely assembled in the box, you will need to take it apart to wash it before
you use it the first time and after each use.
1. To disassemble the chute assembly before the first use, turn the dispenser clockwise slowly about ¼ turn. The
dispenser will come off. VERY CAREFULLY remove the grinder. You may now wash the dispenser, grinder, chute
and plunger.
2. To re-assemble the chute assembly, insert the grinder into the chute, place the dispenser onto the chute with the
left indentation pointing up, turn it ¼ turn counter clockwise to secure it in place.
3. Once the chute assembly is complete, insert the chute assembly into the base as shown below, lining up the
flanges on the chute assembly with the notches in the base, and turn it ¼ turn counter clockwise to secure it in
place.

BEFORE THE FIRST USE
1. Unpack the frozen treat maker from the box.
2. Remove any unwanted packaging materials such as cardboard, plastics or styrofoam.
3. Wipe clean all the parts with a soft damp cloth or sponge and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. DO NOT IMMERSE
THE FROZEN TREAT MAKER BASE IN WATER OR ANY OTHER LIQUID.
DO NOT USE ANY ABRASIVE MATERIALS TO CLEAN THE SURFACE

HOW TO USE THE FROZEN TREAT MAKER
1. Peel and freeze very ripe bananas for at least 24 hours. Approximately 15 minutes before you will be ready to use the
frozen treat maker remove the bananas and any other frozen fruit you will be using from the freezer.
2. Place the frozen treat maker base on a flat stable surface near an electrical outlet.
3. Place a small bowl below the dispenser.
4. Remove the plunger from the chute and insert the frozen fruit into the chute. DO NOT overfill the chute.
5. Plug the unit into a power outlet and turn the unit ON.
6. Apply steady gentle pressure on the plunger and slowly press the contents down through the chute.
7. The creamy frozen fruit mixture will dispense into the bowl. As you add different fruits be sure to stir the creamy mixture in
the bowl to evenly distribute the flavors. NOTE: The first fruit to be added to the chute may not dispense immediately into
the bowl. Insert more fruit for the fruit to be fully dispensed.
8. If you prefer a harder more frozen mixture you may place the bowl or container of creamy frozen fruit in to your freezer for
an hour or more.
9. Please note that you should NEVER run the frozen treat maker for more than 5 continuous minutes. Allow it to rest for 5
minutes before using again. After 3 cycles the unit must be unplugged and allowed to cool off completely before you use it
again.
10. DO NOT place fruits with pits into the frozen treat maker. Remove the pits before freezing the fruit.
11. DO NOT use for ice crushing as this may damage the grinder or the motor.
WARNINGS
DO NOT use as an ice crusher.
ALWAYS keep fingers and utensils away from the sharp blades.
ALWAYS make sure that the frozen treat maker is unplugged from the power outlet when not in use.
ALWAYS make sure the blade assembly is securely attached to the base before you begin using this unit.

You may mix and match your favorite fruits to make delicious and nutritious frozen treats. Be sure to freeze your fruits at
least 12 hours before adding to the frozen treat maker.
The following fruits work best:
Bananas –these should be over-ripe with lots of brown spots, no green areas, and they should be PEELED before
freezing.
Berries –strawberries, blueberries, blackberries, raspberries, cranberries
Melon –cantelope, honeydew, watermelon –remove the melon from the rind and freeze in smaller chunks or
balls.
Pineapple –peel, core, and slice into long slices before freezing.
Peaches, pears, apples, and mango –Peel any tough skin, remove any pits or seeds, and slice or chunk the fruit
before freezing.
If you are using a variety of fruits or berries per batch, add the different fruits alternately to allow the flavors to mix properly
and ensure a proper consistency. Also, you may stir the mixture in the bowl before serving.
Strawberry Banana
Ingredients: 2 frozen bananas, ¾ cup frozen strawberries
Insert 1 frozen banana
Add ¾ cup frozen strawberries
Insert 2nd frozen banana
Stir in bowl to combine
Peach Perfection
Ingredients: 2 frozen bananas, ¾ cup frozen peaches
Insert 1 frozen banana
Add ¾ cup frozen peaches
Insert 2nd frozen banana
Stir in bowl to combine
Mixed Berry
Ingredients: 2 frozen bananas, ¾ cup frozen mixed berries (blackberries, raspberries, blueberries, strawberries)
Insert 1 frozen banana
Add ¾ cup frozen berries
Insert 2nd frozen banana

Lemon Raspberry
Ingredients: 2 frozen bananas, 1 tablespoon lemon zest, ½ cup frozen raspberries
Insert 1 frozen banana
Add 1 tablespoon lemon zest
Add ½ cup frozen raspberries
Insert 2nd frozen banana
Stir in bowl to combine
Mint Chocolate Chip
Ingredients: 2 frozen bananas, 1 oz. mint chocolate chips
Insert 1 frozen banana
Add 1 oz. mint chocolate chips
Insert 2nd frozen banana
Stir in bowl to combine
Please note that for all non-banana frozen treats you should let the fruit thaw about 10 minutes before using.
Tropical Tease
Ingredients: ½ cup frozen pineapple chunks, ½ cup frozen mango chunks, ¼ cup shredded coconut, ¼ cup ice cream
Insert ½ cup pineapple
Insert ½ of the ice cream
Insert ½ cup frozen mango
Insert remaining ice cream
Stir in bowl and top with shredded coconut if desired
Strawberry Pineapple
Ingredients: ½ cup frozen strawberries, ½ cup frozen pineapple
Insert ¼ cup slightly thawed frozen strawberries
Insert ¼ cup slightly thawed frozen pineapple
Repeat the above 2 steps
Stir in bowl to combine
Feel free to experiment with your favorite ingredients. DO NOT add ice and make sure your ingredients are slightly thawed.
You may put your mixture back in the freezer for at least an hour if you prefer a harder consistency.

MAINTENANCE
1. When performing any cleaning or maintenance to this unit, be sure to unplug from power outlet first.
2. Remove the plunger and chute assembly from the base. Wipe the outer surface of the frozen treat maker base with a
warm damp cloth and dry with a soft cloth. DO NOT immerse the base or power cord in water or any other liquid.
3. Hand wash the grinder assembly very carefully in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
4. Hand wash the dispenser, chute assembly and plunger in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
5. We do not recommend the use of a dishwasher for this unit.
6. Reassemble the unit before storing.
STORING
Always unplug the frozen treat maker before storing.
Store the frozen treat maker in a dry location in the original box if possible.
Do not place any heavy items on top of the frozen treat maker during storage as this may result in possible damage.
ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
If the frozen treat maker should no longer work at all, please make sure that it is disposed of in an environmentally friendly
way.
