NOTE: Thesensorshouldbeinstalledinastraight
sectionofductawayfromheating,cooling,
orhumidierelements.
1. Intheduct,drilla1-1/8"clearancehole(forthe
sensorprobe).
2. Measure1-5/8"toeithersideofthecenterofthe
clearanceholeanddrilltwoholesformounting
screws.
3. FromtheTHE-1002,removethetwocover
screws,cover,andthedesiredknock-outforthe
conduit.
4. InserttheTHE-1002probeintotheduct.
5. Insertthetwomountingscrewsandtighten
them.
6. FastenconduittotheTHE-1002.
7. Throughtheconduit,feedwirestothecontroller
andmaketheappropriateconnections.(Seethe
Wiringsectiononthenextpage.)
8. Aerwiring,plugtheconduitwithplumber’s
puy,painter’spuy,caulk,orothersealantto
preventairinltration.
9. Reinstallthecoverandcoverscrews.Besure
thescrewsgothroughthemountingholesof
therelaymodule,securingthebackoftherelay
moduletothebacksideofthecover.

ler’shumidityinput.(Setthecontroller’spull-up
resistoraccordingly.)
NOTE: Thethermistorandthehumidityoutput
haveacommonoutputsignalground.
Connectthetemperatureoutput(thermistorleads)
fromtheTHE-1002tothecontroller’stemperature
input.Makewireconnectionswitheitherbu-splices
orsolder.Usingwirenutsisnotrecommended.(Set
thecontroller’spull-upresistoraccordingly.)
NOTE: Thetwo-wirethermistorleadsarepolarity
insensitive.
NOTE: Therelaymodulemountedinsidethe
electricalhousingishard-wiredtothe
sensingprobe. Do not aempt to lengthen
or shorten the prewired ribbon cable.
