•When using the appliance, basic safety precautions should be followed to reduce the
risk of fire, electric shock, and injury to persons and property.
•This appliance can be used by children aged 8 years and above and by persons with
reduced physical, sensory, or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning the use of the appliance in a
safe way and understand the hazards involved.
•Adult supervision is required when this appliance is used around children.
•Children are not permitted to play with the appliance.
•Cleaning and user maintenance should not be performed by children without
supervision.
•This appliance is intended to be used in households and similar areas such as:
oStaff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other working environments.
oFarmhouses and clients in hotels, motels, and other residential-type environments.
oBed and breakfast type environments.
oCatering and similar non-retail environments.
•This appliance supports voltages between 220–240V with a frequency of 50Hz.
•Ensure the appliance is placed away from direct sunlight and there is at least a 15cm
clearance on all sides. This will ensure there is enough air circulation around the
appliance.
•Keep ventilation openings clear of obstructions.
•Ensure the appliance is used on a dry, flat surface.
•The gas inside the appliance is flammable.
•Connect this appliance to properly grounded outlets only. No other appliance should be
plugged into the same outlet. Improper use of the grounded plug can result in an
electric shock.
•When in use, ensure the plug is fully inserted into the socket.

•This appliance must be positioned in such a way that the plug is accessible.
•Do not run the power cord over the carpet or other heat insulators.
•Do not cover the power cord.
•Keep the power cord away from traffic areas and do not submerge in water.
SAFETY & WARNINGS

•Use of an extension cord is not recommended as it may overheat and present a risk of
fire. If an extension cord is used, use a cord with a minimum wire gauge of 0.75mm and
is rated at least ~16A/250V with a plug.
•Unplug the appliance before cleaning or servicing.
•Do not use the appliance outdoors.
•Do not use liquids other than water to make ice cubes.
•Do not clean the appliance with flammable liquids. The fumes can lead to a fire hazard
or explosion.
•Do not tip over the appliance.
•If the appliance is brought in from outside during winter or from any other cold
environment, wait for a few hours to allow the appliance to warm to room temperature
before plugging it in.
•Do not store explosive substances (for example, aerosol cans with a flammable
propellant) in this appliance.
•WARNING: Risk of fire/flammable materials used. Follow local regulations
regarding the disposal of the appliance as it has flammable blowing gas.
•Do not damage the refrigerant circuit.
•Do not use mechanical devices or other means to accelerate the defrosting process or
ice-making process.

Remove the packaging and ensure all components are accounted for. Remove the
protective tape on the appliance then open the top window and take out the drip tray
and drip tray cover. If any components are missing, contact help.Kogan.com for
assistance.
It is strongly recommended to clean the appliance before first use.
•Pour a solution of diluted detergent and warm water into the water tank then use a
soft cloth to clean the interior.
•Rinse the interior with water then unplug the drain plug located at the bottom of the
appliance to allow the water to flow out.
•Wipe the exterior with a solution of mild detergent and warm water.
•Dry the interior and exterior with a soft cloth.
Placement
•Place the appliance on a dry flat area away from direct sunlight and other sources of
heat (for example, stoves).
•To avoid overheating, ensure there is at least a 15cm clearance around all sides of the
appliance.
•Allow the refrigerant to settle for one hour before plugging in the power cord.
BEFORE FIRST USE

Filling and powering
1. Place the drip tray and drip tray cover onto the appliance. Open the side door and
fill water (7°C–32°C) into the water tank until just below the ‘MAX’ line.
2.Ensure you have allowed the refrigerant to settle for one hour. Plug the power cord
into a grounded wall outlet. The power indicator ‘ ’ on the display will then begin
flashing.
3.Press the power button on the control panel. The power indicator ‘ ’ on the display
will then turn solid, and the large ice cube indicator ‘ ’ will begin flashing. The
appliance will then begin making ice.

Ensure the socket is easily accessible.
Note:
If the full indicator is illuminated, this indicates the appliance is full of ice and will
stop operating automatically.

Adjusting the ice cube size
By default, the appliance will form large ice cubes. If you would like small ice cubes, press
the select button on the control panel. The small ice cube indicator ‘ ’ will then illuminate,
enabling the appliance to form small ice cubes.
If both sizes are not suitable, press and hold the power button for 5 seconds whilst the
appliance is making ice. ‘0’ will appear on the display. This indicates the appliance is set to
the default ice-making times.
Press the select button to activate the display to cycle between showing ‘1’ and ‘2’. Based
on the currently set ice cube size, this will add the respective number of minutes to the ice
cube making times, hence changing the size of the ice cubes made. After 5 seconds, the ice
cube making time will be saved and the numbers will disappear.
Ice-making cycles can range from 6–12 minutes.
Dispensing ice cubes
1. Place a container (not included) onto the drip tray cover.
2.Press the ice dispensing button on the control panel. The ice dispensing indicator
‘ ’ on the display will then illuminate and the ice cube pushing spring will start
rotating to push ice cubes out of the appliance.
3.To stop dispensing, press the ice dispensing button again.
Dispensing water
1. Place a cup (not included) onto the drip tray cover.
2.Press the water dispensing button on the control panel. The water dispensing
indicator ‘ ’ will then illuminate and water will begin dispensing from the
appliance.
3.After 10 seconds, the appliance will automatically stop dispensing water.
Adjusting the water dispensing time
To adjust the amount of time the appliance dispenses water, press and hold the water
dispensing button for 5 seconds. The display will show ‘10s’.
Press the select button to adjust the dispensing time (can be adjusted to be between 7–25
seconds). This will be reflected on the display. Once set, wait for 5 seconds to allow the
appliance to save the desired dispensing time.

Activating the timer
•If the appliance is running, you may set up a timer for the appliance to stop operating
after a certain time.
•If the appliance is on standby, you may set up a timer for the appliance to start
running after a certain time.
•The default time is 1 hour. Press the timer button to activate the timer.
Cancelling the timer
Press the timer button to cancel the timer. The time and ‘H’ on the timer indicator will
disappear.
Adjusting the time set on the timer
1. Ensure the timer has not been activated. Press the timer button.
2.Press the select button to increase the timer by 30-minute increments. Pressing the
select button repeatedly will result in larger time increment increases.
During this adjustment, the ‘H’ on the timer indicator will be flashing. Once the
desired time has been set, wait for 5 seconds to allow the appliance to save the
desired time. The ‘H’ on the timer indicator will then turn solid. After this, the timer
will be activated.
Note:
The timer can be set from 30 minutes up to 19 hours.

Powering off
Press the power button to turn the appliance off.
Draining water
Before cleaning the appliance or changing the water, the water inside the appliance must
first be drained out.
Unplug the drain plug from the bottom of the appliance and allow the water to flow out.
You may also connect a soft plastic tube to help guide the water out.
Refilling
The water level should be checked regularly. If there is insufficient water, the appliance will
stop operating automatically. The low water level indicator ‘ ’ will illuminate to indicate
more water is required.
1. Press the power button to turn the appliance off.
2.Open the side door and fill water up to just below the ‘MAX’ line. Allow the
refrigerant inside the appliance to cool for at least 3 minutes.
3.Press the power button again to turn the appliance on and resume use.
Notes:
•To maintain hygiene, the water must be changed every 24 hours.
•If the appliance will not be used, drain the water and dry the water tank.

Ensure the appliance is turned off, the power cord is unplugged, and water is drained before
cleaning.
1. Pour a solution of warm water with diluted detergent into the water tank and the
space below the transparent window inside, then use a soft cloth to wipe the
interior.
2.Use water to rinse the interior and drain out the water by unplugging the drain cap
on the bottom of the appliance.
3.Clean the exterior with a solution of mild detergent and warm water.
4.Dry the interior and wipe the exterior with a soft cloth.
