OVERVIEW

Unpacking
Unpack the ice cube maker, then check to ensure that all the components are included. If
components are missing, contact help.Kogan.com for assistance.
Cleaning
It is strongly recommended to clean the ice cube maker before first use.
•Remove the ice basket.
•Open the drain plug. Clean the interior with a soft cloth soaked with warm water and
vinegar. Rinse with fresh water and drain.
•Wash the ice basket and ice scoop in warm soapy water. Rinse and dry.
•Clean the exterior of the ice maker with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild dishwashing
soap if necessary.
Placement
Place the ice cube maker on a stable, level surface with at least a 25cm clearance from
heat sources (for example, ovens, heaters, and corrosive gases).
Before first use, wait for at least two hours to allow the fluids in the compressor to settle.
For subsequent uses, wait for at least 30 minutes to allow the fluids in the compressor to
settle after the ice cube maker is moved or transported.
Notes:
•Do not turn the ice cube maker upside down.
•During winter, allow the appliance a few hours to warm to room temperature
before plugging in.
BEFORE USE

Ensure that the drain plug at the bottom of the water reservoir is closed well.
Before first use, wait for at least two hours to allow the fluids in the compressor to settle.
1. Plug the ice cube maker into the wall outlet and turn the outlet on. The “ICE”
indicator will blink.
2.Open the top lid and remove the ice basket.
3.Fill the water reservoir with drinking water between 8–25°C.
4.Place the ice basket in and close the top lid.
5.Press the “ON/OFF” button and the “ICE” indicator will turn solid. One ice-making
cycle will take approximately 7–15 minutes, depending on the ambient temperature
and water temperature.
•The ice-making cycle starts with water being pumped into the ice tray
situated below the evaporator. Over the next 7–15 minutes, ice will form in
the evaporator.
•Once completed, the ice tray will tilt backwards and the remaining water in
the ice tray is drained back into the water reservoir.
•The ice cubes are then dropped from the evaporator and pushed forward
into the ice basket by the ice shovel.
•The ice tray will automatically move back into position under the evaporator
and start the next cycle.
6.When the desired amount of ice is made, press the “ON/OFF” button to stop the
ice-making process. Turn off the outlet then unplug the power cord. Open the top lid
and collect the ice using the ice scoop.
OPERATION
Note:
Do not fill the water reservoir with hot water. It is best to fill it with water that is
room temperature or colder.

Ice full indicator
The “ICE FULL” indicator will illuminate when the ice basket is full, and the ice-making cycle
will stop automatically.
Gently remove the ice from the ice basket with the ice scoop. About five seconds later, the
ice cube maker will resume making ice automatically.
Add water indicator
The “ADD WATER” indicator will illuminate when the water reservoir is out of water. The
ice-making cycle will stop automatically.
1. Remove the ice basket and add water into the reservoir.
2.Place the ice basket into the ice cube maker then press the “ON/OFF” button to
restart the ice-making cycle.

It is recommended to clean the ice maker and replace the water once a week.
Ensure the ice cube maker is turned off, unplugged, and at room temperature before
cleaning.
1. If there is residual water found in the ice tray, gently push the ice tray back so that all
water drains into the water reservoir.
2.Move the ice cube maker 75mm away from the surface it is used on and open the
drain plug to drain out excess water.
3.Remove the ice basket.
4.Clean the interior with a soft cloth soaked with warm water and vinegar, then rinse
with fresh water and drain.
5.Replace the drain plug firmly. Wash the ice basket and ice scoop in warm soapy
water. Rinse and dry.
6.Clean the exterior with a soft damp cloth. Use a mild dishwashing soap if necessary,
then wipe dry.
Storage
If the ice cube maker will not be used for an extended period, ensure the water reservoir is
empty, and all components are dry.
Store in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight.
