•This product is intended for floor cleaning use only in the home environment. Do
not use it outdoors (such as open balcony), non-ground surface (such as sofas),
commercial or industrial environments.
•Do not use in a suspended environment (such as a duplex flat, open balcony, top
of home) without a protective fence.
•Do not use in the environment where the temperature is above 40°C or below 0°C,
or where any liquid or viscous substance is present.
•Hang the cable on the ground in your home before use, in order to avoid dragging
when the robot is running.
•Put away fragile items and sundries (such as vases, plastic bags, etc.) on the
ground to avoid the robot being blocked, or damage to the valuables in the home
caused by slight collisions during operation.
•This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge unless
they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by
a person responsible for their safety.
•Do not allow children to use the robot as a toy. Keep the children and pets as far
as possible from the robot while it is working.
•Do not put the cleaning tool of the main brush in an area which is accessible to
children.
•Keep the human body, pet's hair, fingers, etc. away from the suction inlet of
the machine when the robot is running.
•Do not use it to clean any burning objects (such as un-extinguished cigarettes).
•Do not use it for suction of hard or sharp objects (such as decoration waste, glass,
steel nails, etc.).
•Do not move the robot by holding the cover of the laser distance sensor, the cover
of the machine or the impact bumper as the handle.
•Always shut down or power off the unit before cleaning or maintaining the
machine and the charging base.
•Do not wipe any part of the product with a wet cloth or liquid.
•Do not use the mopping module in an environment with carpet.
•Never incinerate the product even if it has been severely damaged, for the battery
inside may cause an explosion.
SAFETY & WARNINGS

Battery and charging
•Do not use any third-party batteries, chargers or charging bases.
•Do not disassemble, repair or modify the battery or the charging base.
•Do not place the charging base near a heat source (such as a radiator).
•Do not wipe or clean the clip on the charging base with a wet cloth or wet hands.
•Do not discard inactive batteries at will, but hand them to professional recycling
facilities for handling.
•If the power wire is broken or snapped, stop using it immediately and contact
customer service in time.
•If you need to transport the product, make sure the machine is turned off and
packing it with the original package is recommended.

1. Place the charging base on a flat surface against a wall
2. Ensure that there is more than 1.2 meters clear space in front and more than 0.5
meters clear space on both sides of the charging base.

3. Long press the power button to switch the unit on. Press the charging key, and the
machine will find the charging base automatically for charging.
The colour of the power
button indicates the
remaining charge of the
battery:
•White light:
Power >15%
•Breathing light:
Power <15%
Note:
When the power is insufficient, it may not be able to turn on. Please dock the
machine on the charging clip of the charging base. The orange light of the
power button will be always on when charging.

Install App
Download the “Kogan SmarterHome” app from the Play Store (Android) or App Store (iOS).
Register
If you do not have a Kogan SmarterHome™ account, register or sign in with a verification
code sent by SMS.
To register:
1. Tap to enter registration page.
2. The system automatically recognises your country/area. You can also select your
country code manually. Enter your email address and tap ‘Next.’
3. Alternatively, you can select ‘Register by mobile number’ and enter the verification
code sent to you by SMS.
4. Create a profile on the next page to define your location and room.
CONNECT TO SMARTERHOME™ APP

Set device in pairing mode
When the device is first turned on, it may automatically enter pairing mode (the power
button indicator may be flashing slowly).
If not automatically in pairing mode when powered on, you can manually set the device in
pairing mode by pressing and holding the Partial Cleaning and Charging buttons until the
power button indicator flashes slowly.
Using AP Mode to add device
5. Once registered, tap “+” in the upper right corner of the app’s home page to add a
new device through the network.
6. Select the product type from the list of options in the app (Cleaning Appliances >
Vacuum Cleaners), and then select “Other Mode” from the top-right corner when
asked to reset the device.

7. Select “AP Mode” for the set-up type.
8. Ensure that the device is in pairing mode, with the light flashing, and tap “Confirm
light is slowly flashing”.
9. Enter your Wi-Fi details. It is important that your SmarterHome™ device and the
app are connected to the same Wi-Fi network during setup.

10. Follow the in-app prompts to continue AP Mode connection, which will pair your
mobile phone to the device’s Wi-Fi hotspot to ensure a connection.
11. The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the app. Ensure
your Wi-Fi router, mobile phone, and the SmarterHome™ device are kept close
until connection is complete.
12. After successfully being added, you will have the option to rename the device and
assign it to a location. It will now be listed on the app’s home page. Tap the device
listing to enter its control page.
Notes:
•The device and the app have to use the same Wi-Fi network.
• The device is only compatible with 2.4Ghz networks.
Note:
the Wi
-Fi hotspot does not appear on your phone in the list of available networks,
your device may not be set in AP Pairing Mode correctly. Try repeating the steps
outlined above to ensure your device is ready for connection.

Having trouble connecting?
The prior steps detail the process for “AP Mode” connection. If that does not work for your
connection, we suggest trying it again, and if still no success, attempting the following
method for Standard (non-AP Mode) connection.
Add device through network
5. Once registered, tap “+” in the upper right corner of the app’s home page to add a
new device through the network.
6. Select the product type from the list of options in the app (Cleaning Appliances >
Vacuum Cleaners).
7. Ensure that the device is in pairing mode, with the indicator light flashing, and tap
“Confirm light is rapidly flashing”. In Standard mode, it will refer to rapid flashing,
not slow flashing.

8. Upon successfully confirming pairing mode, enter your Wi-Fi details. It is important
that your SmarterHome™ device and the app are connected to the same Wi-Fi
network during setup.
9. The device will commence the pairing process and connect to the app. Ensure
your Wi-Fi router, mobile phone, and the SmarterHome™ device are kept close
until connection is complete.
10. After successfully being added, you will have the option to rename the device and
assign it to a location. It will now be listed on the app’s home page. Tap the device
listing to enter its control page.
If neither Standard or AP Mode methods are successful, please contact kogan.com for
assistance.
Notes:
•The device and the app have to use the same Wi-Fi network.
•The device is only compatible with 2.4Ghz networks.

Power on/off
•Long press the power button to switch the unit on. The indicator of the power
button turns on slowly and the machine enters the standby state.
•When the machine is stationary, long press the power button to switch the unit off.
The white light slowly extinguishes and the vacuum powers off.
Pause
•When the machine is running, press any button to pause. If the power button is
pressed when paused, the machine will continue to clean. Press Charging button
and the machine will end cleaning and return to the charging base. Press the
Partial Cleaning button and the machine will execute partial cleaning.
OPERATION
Note:
If charging the machine by moving it to the charger base during the pause, the
cleaning cycle will be ended.
Note:
The machine cannot be shut down during charging.

Charging
•Automatic mode: After cleaning, the machine will automatically find its way to the
charging station.
•Manual mode: In the pause state, press the Charging button to start charging.
When the machine is charging, the orange indicator of the power button will be lit.
The white breathing indicator will be on when the battery is full.
2-in-1 dust & water tank
Switch to the water tank assembly for mopping.
1. Press the release button and remove the water tank assembly.
Note:
Do not mop on carpet to avoid getting the carpet wet.
Note:
If the machine does not start cleaning from the charging base, auto-charging
may fail as machine will automatically return to the position where it starts.
Please manually return the machine to the charging base for charging.

2. Moisten the mop pad and attach it to the unit using the hook & loop pads. Fill the tank
with water and fasten the rubber lid onto the tank.
3. Insert the water tank assembly into the main unit.
4. Short press the power button or start mopping in the app.
