Building materials and wiring should be routed away from the pump body and other heat-producing components
of the unit.
A pressure wire connector marked “Earth/Ground” is provided within the wiring compartment. To reduce
the risk of electric shock, connect this connector to the grounding terminal of your electric service or supply
panel with copper wire equivalent in size to the circuit conductor supplying this equipment.
Grounding is required. The unit should be installed by a qualied service representative, and grounded.
NOTE: Install to permit access for servicing.
NOTICE : Follow all local plumbing and electrical codes.
B. Factory-Assembled Features
Your bath has been manufactured to the highest possible standard, it has been factory tested and approved.
WARNING : Unauthorized modication may cause unsafe operation or aect performance of the bath
with airjets. Do not relocate the blower motor, or make other modications to the system in the absence of
kit instructions, as this could adversely aect the performance and safe operation of the bath with airjets.
Kohler Thailand shall not be liable under its warranty or otherwise for personal injury or damage caused
by any such unauthorized modication.

Before You Begin
Product Requirement
CAUTION : Risk of product damage. Do not lift the bath by the piping or pump, or use the piping or pump
for structural support of the bath.
□ We recommend this bath for drop-in.
□ Inspect the bath for damage before you begin installation.
□ You must install this bath to an adequately supported, level suboor.
□ Conrm adequate support for a rim-mounted faucet, large faucets that may be inadvertently used as a means
of support are not appropriate or safe for this installation.

A. Summary of Key Requirements
□ Observe all local plumbing codes.
□ Install the unit to a level suboor.
□ Provide properly-dimensioned framing.
B. PlumbingSpecications
If using a rim-mounted bath faucet, exible connections between the valves and spout may be required. Conrm
adequate mounting, connection space of specied faucet for your installation.
C. Product Inspection
Carefully unpack and inspect the bath with airjets for damage. Leave all materials in the carton during constructions
to prevent damage.
D. Electrical Requirements
The installation must have a Earth-Leakage Circuit-Breaker (ELCB). The ELCB protects against Line-to-ground
shock hazard. Use a 220-240 V, 20 A (minimum), 50/60 Hz dedicated service for the bath with airjets.
E. Connections and Service Access
Before installation, ensure proper access to the nal connections.
NOTICE : Provide generous, unrestricted service access to the pump. You must provide access for servicing
the pump and controls. The access must be located immediately next to the pump. Study the roughing-in
information packed with the whirlpool (the size of access panel should not less than 500 x 450 mm).

Prepare the Site
Concrete Construction
NOTICE : Adequate oor support must be provided. Consult the roughing-in sheet packed with your bath for
specic oor loading requirements.
NOTICE : Unless otherwise specied, oor support under the bath must provide for a minimum 390 kg/square
meter loading.
NOTICE: Provide adequate ventilation and a minimum of 15 cubic feet (0.4 cubic meters) in the installed location
for cooling the motor and to supply sucient air for the blower. Do not install the blower motor closer than 2.5 mm
from the wall or other objects.
□ Make sure the ooring oers adequate support for your bath, and verify that the suboor is at and level.
□ This bath may be installed next to the wall or in an island installation. An island installation requires a four
side surround. In both instances, make sure the deck is supported by brick or concrete.
□ Install an access panel to allow the pump to be serviced.
□ Construct brick or concrete supports.
□ Provide 2 mm gap between the bath rim and the concrete or brick framing. Frame the oor, or construct
a frame for a raised installation, in accordance with the roughing-in information packed with the bath.
□ Position the plumbing according to the roughing-in information packed. Cap the supplies, and check for leaks.

Bath Installation
Prepare the Bath
□ When removing bath. Do not lift bath by pipe work. Inspect for any possible damage that may have occurred
in transit.
□ Insert the drain tailpiece into the trap. Make sure the bath is level. Use silicone to seal between drain and trap.
□ Seal the joint between the bath rim and the nished tiled wall using silicone sealant.
□ Ensure adjustable feet are ed through holes drilled in support frame.
□ Locate bath in proposed position. The protect lm originally covering your spa has been recovered to t its
equipment, therefore, carefully protect its surface during installation.
□ Make sure the bath is level (and resting on all support blocks).
□ Install the drain to the bath according to the drain manufacturer’s instructions. Do not connect the trap
at this time.
□ To adjust the height, loosen the nut A, adjust the height by tightening the nut B, and then tighten the nut A.
□ Position the bath on the support, adjust the level.

Plumbing Installation
NOTE : An access panel will simplify future maintenance.
□ Connect the drain to the trap according to the drain manufacturer’s instructions.
□ Open the hot and cold water supplies, and check the supply connections for leakage.
□ Run water into the bath, and check the drain connections for leakage.
CAUTION : Risk of product damage. Ensure a watertight seal on the bath drain.

WARNING : Risk of electric shock. Make sure the power has been disconnected before performing the
following procedures.
WARNING : Risk of re, electric shock, or injury to persons. Be sure to insert the grounding pin of the
power cord plug in to the grounding contact of the electrical outlet or power strip and make sure it works.
Improper insertion, no insertion or noneective grounding can result in eletric shock, re of damage to
your bath
Make Electrical Connection
□ The whirlpool controls and system have been prewired at the factory. A licensed electrician must install ELCB
(Earth-Leakage Circuit-Breaker).
□ Provide a separate equipment earthing conductor for the earth lug located inside the junction box. The earthing
conductor must not be connected to any current-carrying conductor. Follow local electrical codes. Bond in
accordance with national and local codes.

Air Blower Connection
Assemble nozzle connection onto blower.
IMPORTANT : Maximum standard length of exible blower hose 1.5 metres. If blower installation is greater
than specied distance then an extension kit will be required
NOTE : Hose connection to manifold is factory ed.
□ Push the rubber cu onto blower nozzle and secure in position with hose clip.
□ Connect the blower to the control box.

ConrmProperOperation
NOTE : Please read these steps carefully before you operate your dual system bath.
(refer to the “Switch Function and Operation” section)
□ Check all electrical connections, and make sure the electrical power to the whirlpool is turned on.
□ Make sure all union connections to the pump and heater are securely hand tightened.
□ Position the jet nozzles so they face down toward the basin. Turn the jet trim ring fully counterclockwise.
□ Fill the bath to a level above the top of the higher jet around 40 mm.
□ Press the Power On/O buon to turn on the whirlpool. The whirlpool will start at medium ow. Check all
bath piping connections, on the back side, for leaks.
□ Turn the jet trim clockwise to decrease the ow, and counterclockwise to increase the ow
□ Press the Power On/O buon a second time to turn the bath o.
NOTE : The water temperature in the bath should not exceed 40° C (104° F). The heater will automatically turn o
as the water temperature approaches 40° C (104° F), and will remain o until the water cools.
Complete the Brick
□ Cover the constructed brick with cement. Seal the joints between the bath rim edge and the brick with silicone
sealant.
□ Cover the outer side of the constructed brick with tiles. Seal the joints between the bath rim and tile with silicone
sealant.

Switch Function and Operation
IMPORTANT : If the running system cannot detect the presence of water level (power indicator ashes in green),
the motor / heater / pump will shut o automatically.

Red light indicates power available to control box and electronic switch.
Water level indicator
Fill bath with water ensuring that the water level 40mm above spa jets.
After you press Motor pump / heater on/o, the water level indicator
will light in green.
Fill the bath with warm water ensuring that the water level is 40 mm
above spa jet. Press on/o buon.
To increase Air Blower speed: press until desired speed reached.
To decrease Air Blower speed: press until desired speed reached.
Press both switches together for Auto High-Low cycle (Wave Action).

D. Air Bubble Volume Control
Turn the knob clockwise to increase air bubble volume and turn counterclockwise to decrease air bubble volume in
whirlpool system.

C. Motor Pump/Heater On/Off Control
Allows bather to switch o the heater when not required.
E. Auto Sanitising Cycle
Auto clean up cycle will commence 20 minutes after the bath has been emptied of water. The blower and heater
will then restart and operate for 2 minutes sanitising the system with hot air before automatically shuing down.
F. Auto Timer
The auto safety timer will shut the air/spa system down automatically after 30 minutes of continual operation,
and can be restarted again by pressing the electronic ON/OFF switch.
IMPORTANT : Air spa system will only operate for 5 seconds if insucient water level is detected, automatically
shuing down.
G. Leakage Detection
Leakage Detection indicator
When the fixture is powered on and the bath has run out of water,
press Blower Speed Decrease buon, Blower Speed Increase buon and
Motor/Pump-Heater buon simultaneously for more than 3 seconds to
create a simulation of electricity leakage, then the indicator will ash in
red and green alternatively. This indicates the leakage detection function
is well in use, otherwise, there’s possibility that this function fails to
operate normally and may result in electric shock accident.
Release three buons and the bath will not function anymore if any key
is pressed. Make the bath powered-on again and the bath will restore its
function.

Care and Cleaning

Troubleshooting
Cleaning Your Acrylic Bath
□ Use a mild detergent such as liquid dishwashing soap and warm water for cleaning. Do not use abrasive
cleaners that may scratch or dull the surface.
□ Carefully read the cleaner product label to ensure the cleaner is safe for use on the material.
□ Always test your cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying to the entire surface.
□ Do not allow cleaners to sit or soak on the surface.
□ Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately after cleaner application. Rinse and dry
any overspray that lands on nearby surfaces.
□ Use a soft, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive material such as a brush or scouring pad to
clean surfaces.
NOTE : To restore dull or scratched units : Apply white automotive polishing compound with a clean rag. Rub scratches
and dull areas vigorously. Wipe o residue. Follow with a coat of white automotive paste wax. Do not wax areas
where you walk or stand.
Cleaning Your User Keypad
Use a soft cloth to wipe the keypad and remote control after each use. If the surface becomes dirty, use a non-abrasive
soap and warm water to clean.
