Tools and Materials
Before You Begin
Observe all local plumbing and building codes.
Shut off the main water supply.
Inspect the tubing for any sign of damage. Replace if necessary.
If possible, install this faucet before installing the sink.
Kohler Co. reserves the right to make revisions in the design of
faucets without notice, as specified in the Price Book.

1. Install the Spout
From the bottom of the spout, slide the gasket onto the spout
shank.
Insert the spout into the spout mounting hole (middle hole).
From the underside of the sink, slide the metal washer and nut
onto the spout shank.
Position the metal washer so the second hole faces the rear of the
sink.
Tighten the nut with a wrench. Do not overtighten.
Insert the plastic washer and rubber gasket into the top of the
supply tee.
Thread the supply tee onto the spout shank until hand tight.
Align the arms of the supply tee so they face the left and right
sides of the sink.

2. Install the Valve Body
Remove the washer and nut from each valve body. Save for later
use.
Apply a bead of plumbers putty or other sealant to the underside
of escutcheons according to the putty manufacturer’s instructions.
NOTE: The valve body marked ″COLD″with a blue tape must be
installed into the mounting hole on the right as viewed from the
front of the sink.
From the top of the sink, insert the valve bodies into the
mounting holes.
From the underside of the sink, slide a washer and a nut onto
each valve body.
Rotate each valve body until the copper tubing faces towards the
outside of the sink.
Firmly hold the valve bodies in place and securely tighten the
nuts with a wrench. Do not overtighten.
Remove any excess putty or sealant.

3. Install the Flexible Hose
Apply a thread sealant onto the male threaded ends of the
flexible hoses.
Connect the flexible hoses to the valve end body outlets. Tighten
until snug. Do not overtighten.
Apply thread sealant onto the threads of each supply tee inlet.
Connect the flexible hoses to the supply tee inlet.
To avoid kinking the hoses, loop them.
Carefully tighten the hose with a wrench. Do not overtighten.

4. Supply Connections
Install the sink (if needed) according to the sink manufacturer’s
instructions.
Slide two coupling nuts and two ferrules onto each copper
supply tube.
Insert a copper supply tube into each valve end body inlet and
the shut-off valve outlet. Hand tighten the coupling nut.
Slide one ferrule and one coupling nut over the threads of the
shut-off valve outlet. Hand tighten the coupling nut.
Slide a ferrule and coupling nut over the threads of each valve
end body inlet.
Insert a copper supply tube into each valve end body inlet and
the shut-off valve outlet.
Hand tighten the coupling nut. Slide the ferrule and coupling nut
over the threads of each shut-off valve outlet.

5. Installation Checkout
Ensure that all connections are tight.
Remove the aerator (if spout is installed).
Open the drain.
Turn on the main water supply and check for leaks. Repair as
needed.
Open both hot and cold valves and run water through the spout
(if installed) for approximately one minute to remove debris.
Check for leaks. Turn the valves off.
Remove any debris from the aerator and reinstall (if spout is
installed).

Avant de commencer
Respecter tous les codes de plomberie et de bâtiment locaux.
Couper l’alimentation d’eau principale.
Inspécter la tuyauterie pour tout signe d’endommagement.
Remplacer si nécessaire.
Si possible, installer le robinet avant d’installer l’évier.

1. Installer le bec
De la base du bec, glisser le joint sur le manche du distributeur.
Insérer le bec dans son orifice de fixation (du milieu).
Du dessous de l’évier, glisser la rondelle métallique et l’écrou sur
le manche du bec.
Positionner la rondelle métallique de façon à ce que le second
trou soit orienté vers l’arrière de l’évier.
Serrer fermement le contre-écrou à l’aide d’une clé. Ne pas trop
serrer.
Introduire la rondelle en plastique et le joint en caoutchouc dans
la partie supérieure du T d’alimentation.
Visser à la main le T d’alimentation sur la tige du bec.
Aligner les braw du T d’alimentation de manière à ce qu’ils
soient de face aux côtés gauche et droit de l’évier.

2. Installer le corps de la valve
Retirer la rondelle et l’écrou de chaque extrémité de corps de
valve. Conserver pour un usage ultérieur.
Appliquer du mastic de plombier ou autre matériau d’étanchéité
semblable sous les appliques selon les instructions du fabricant
du mastic.
REMARQUE : La poignée de valve marquée ″COLD″en bleu doit
toujours être installée dans le trou de fixation droit tel que visible de
l’avant de l’évier.
Du dessus de l’évier, insérer les poignées des valves dans les
trous de fixation.
Du dessous de l’évier, glisser une rondelle et un écrou sur chaque
extrémité du corps de la valve.
Pivoter chaque extrémité du corps de valve jusqu’à ce que le
tuyau en cuivre soit orienté vers l’extérieur de l’évier.
Maintenir en place fermement les poignées des valves et bien
serrer les écrous avec une clé. Ne pas trop serrer.
Retirer tout excédent de mastic de plombier ou joint d’étanchéité.
