Getting Started
For the best results when caring for your KOHLER®products, follow the instructions carefully and
use only the cleaning products suggested. The use of other cleaning products may damage or
discolor your product and potentially affect the functionality.
Always test the cleaning solution on an inconspicuous area before applying to the entire surface.
Wipe surfaces clean and rinse completely with water immediately after applying cleaner. Rinse and
dry any overspray that lands on nearby surfaces.
Do not allow cleaner to soak.
Use a soft, dampened sponge or cloth. Never use an abrasive material such as a brush or scouring
pad to clean surfaces.
Success with cleaners and procedures is dependent upon such factors as the hardness and
temperature of the water, using exact measurements of ingredients, changes in cleaning formulas
and the condition of the product being cleaned. Since there are variations within these factors,
Kohler cannot guarantee the effectiveness of the formulas.

What do I do?
Rinse thoroughly and use a soft cloth to wipe the product dry after each use.
Use abrasive cleaners sparingly if needed for rare stubborn stains.
What else should I know?
Do not use steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive sponge pads.
Do not leave staining materials such as dirty dishes, coffee grounds and tea bags in contact with the
enameled surface for extended periods of time.
Bottom bowl racks, rinse baskets and other kitchen sink accessories help protect the sink’s base
from scratches.

Stainless Steel Kitchen Sinks
Products to consider
· KOHLER®Stainless Steel Cleaner · Windex®Original Glass Cleaner
· Fantastik®Antibacterial Heavy Duty Cleaner · Nonabrasive cloth or sponge
· Formula 409®Antibacterial All-Purpose Cleaner
What do I do?
Clean stainless steel sinks at least once a week.
Apply stainless steel cleaner/polish with a nonabrasive cloth or sponge.
Be sure to rub cleaner with the grain.
Rinse cleaner off and buff sink dry.
What else should I know?
Blotting your sink dry with a soft cloth after each use reduces water deposits.
Do not use steel wool, wire brushes or abrasive sponge pads.
Cleaners containing chloride are not recommended. If used, rinse the surface immediately to
prevent corrosion.
Most stainless steel products will scratch from everyday use. However, these scratches will blend
over time to create a unique finish.
