Chargingthebatteryisconnectedwithsomerisk,

Thebatterymustbefullychargedbeforelong
termstorageanditisrecommendedtorecharge
thebatteryevery6monthstomakesurethe
batterydoesnotdischargecompletelyovertime.
Acompletelydischargedbatterywillnotcharge,
asalllithiumionbatteries.
Requiredbatterystateforairtransportationis
30%orlessremainingcapacitytocomplywith
regulations.
Thebatterychargerwillonlystarttochargeifthe
batterycapacityislowerthan96%.
Caution
EqualizethetemperatureofthecNODEMiniSto
between10°Cand40°Cbeforechargingit.
Foron-deckcharging,usethecNODEbattery
chargeronly.
Neverchargethebatteryunattended.
Procedure
1Switchoffthetransponder.
2Lettheunitwarmuporcooldowntoan
ambienttemperatureof10°Cto40°C
beforecharging.
3ConnectthecNODEbatterychargerplug
(B)totheconnectoronthecNODEMiniS
markedCHARGE(C).
4ConnectthecNODEbatterycharger(A)to
mains(110or220V AC).
Result
TheLEDindicatoronthechargerashesgreen
whencharging.Itnormallytakesabout30
secondsbeforethechargingstartsandtheLED
indicatorstartsashinggreenafterconnectingthe
cNODEbatterychargertothemains.Thebattery
willbechargedwithin1hour.TheLEDindicator
willstaygreenwhenfullycharged.
TurningonthecNODEMiniS
Thetransponderisdesignedforoperationin
wateronly.Thetranspondermaybeoperatedin
airfortestpurposesoverashortperiodoftime.
