theairinterfaceconnectingcomputers,sensorsandsystemstogether.Theradiohasa
TDMAaccessprotocolwithusercongurabletimeslotallocation.TheMBR144OEM
supportsInternetProtocolversion4.

networkoperatesasawirelessradiomobileadhocnetwork(MANET)whichcanbe

AradiositeisoneorseveralradiounitsconnectedtogetherbyalocalEthernet
connectionatthesamelocation.Thebenetsofaradiositewithseveralradiounitsisan
increasedcoverageareaorredundancywithradioscoveringthesamearea.Datalinks
toremoteMBRunitswillseamlesslybehandedoverfromoneRadioUnittoanother
RadioUnitonthesameradiosite.
TheMBR144OEMissetupviaawebinterfacewhichisavailableoneachradiounit.It
canalsobesetupfromanAPI(applicationprogramminginterface).ContactKongsberg

localareanetwork(LAN).Whenyouconnectacomputertoalocalareanetworkyou
willalwaysexposethedataonthatcomputer.Allothercomputersconnectedtothesame
networkmaybeabletoaccessyourdata.Severalthreatsmayimmediatelyoccur:
•Remotecomputerscanreadthedata.
•Remotecomputerscanchangethedata.
•Remotecomputerscanchangethebehaviorofthecomputer,forexamplebyinstalling
unwantedsoftware.
Usually,twoparametersareusedtodenethethreatlevel:
