FEATURES
You can use a variety of foods, chocolates or sauces with your
Chocolate Fountain Double Tower to create the flavor you desire.
Use chocolate to dip strawberries, marshmallows, apple wedges,
pretzels, cookies, ice cream, peanut butter balls or create mini S’mores,
just use your imagination! Add liqueurs for sophisticated flavors.
You can also use Cheese in your Double Fountain! Dip grapes, apples,
breads, shrimp/seafood, crackers, and pretzels, just use your imagination!
In order to use cheese, you just need to prepare the cheese as you
would for a regular fondue pot by diluting it with white wine and cream
to keep it liquid, enabling it to flow through the tower, though powdered
cheese can work well too.
Bar-B-Q Sauces work well too! Use your favorite sauce and have
prepared chicken, beef/steak and pork cubes to dip. Keep in mind the
consistency needs to be thin. Use wine, liquor or other liquid to dilute
the sauce.
The Chocolate Fountain Double Tower creates a beautiful effect for a
different presentation to any occasion, such as: weddings, birthdays,
graduation parties, business gatherings, holidays, casual get-togethers
with friends and family.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Read all instructions before operating this appliance.
When using any electrical appliance, including your new Chocolate
Fountain Double Tower,there are basic safety precautions that should
always be followed.
1. Any appliance with a cord or plug damaged in any manner should
NEVER be operated.
2. Adult supervision is always recommended when any appliance is
used by, near or around children.
3. Koolatron does not recommend the use of any accessory attachments
other than what is supplied with the Chocolate Fountain Double Tower,
or offered by Koolatron as additional accessories for this product.
4. Your Chocolate Fountain Double Tower is intended for indoor use
only, and is not recommended for outdoor use.
5. Koolatron urges you to not operate any appliance near hot surfaces,
where it or its cord could come in contact with the hot surface.
6. NEVER immerse the Chocolate Fountain Double Tower cord, plug or
any part of the base in water or other liquids.
7. Only use the Chocolate Fountain Double Tower for purposes as
stated in the instructions accompanying this appliance; any other
use will void your warranty and could present a safety hazard.
8. NEVER leave your Chocolate Fountain Double Tower unattended
while in use or plugged in.
9. DO NOT assemble your Chocolate Fountain Double Tower while
motor is running or plugged in.
10. ALWAYS unplug your Chocolate Fountain Double Tower when not
in use and before cleaning.
11. DO NOT handle the auger when in motion.
12. ALWAYS keep hands and foreign objects out of the Chocolate
Fountain Double Tower while in operation; check chocolate flow
regularly and remove large pieces of fruit or other ingredients from
the bowl basin that are impeding the chocolate flow.
13. For proper operation, always make sure your Chocolate Fountain
Double Tower is level on a flat surface.

INSTRUCTIONS
The Chocolate Fountain Double Tower is easy to use, just follow these
simple instructions.
Your Chocolate Fountain Double Tower requires little assembly. Wipe
out base bowl with a damp cloth and dry. Wash augers and tower parts
in warm soapy water, rinse in warm water, dry with non-abrasive towel.
ASSEMBLY
•After cleaning, return augers to base making sure they are securely in
place by aligning the groove on the bottom of the auger to the motor
base pin.
•Do not attempt to place augers or tower on base, or remove from
base, while the motor or heater is on.
•After placing the Augers, stand the two large Tower Tubes on a solid
surface.
•Fit the large Tier securely over both so the tops of the tubes protrude
through the holes in the Tier.
•Next, attach the two small Tower Tubes securely to the large Tower
Tubes. Place the small Tier over the small Tower Tubes. Place the
Tower Fountain Tops securely over the small Tower Tubes. Make sure
Tower is securely assembled.
•Place completed Tower securely on the posts in the base aligning pins
in the Base Bowl to the Rings on the bottom of the large Tower Tubes.

USING YOUR CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN DOUBLE TOWER
First, find a stable surface near an electrical outlet. Before starting, unit
MUST BE LEVEL to operate properly and to ensure proper sheeting of
the chocolate. To level, adjust the feet on the bottom of the unit carefully
by turning in the appropriate direction to raise or lower the foot. Make
sure your cord is away from any water source.
PREPARE CHOCOLATE
The quickest way to prepare chocolate for the fountain is by melting the
chocolate in the microwave first. Combine 3 cups of chocolate chips
with 3/4 to 1 cup of cooking oil. You can add more oil after checking for
thin consistency, other liquids may be added at this time. Place in
microwave for 2 1/2 minutes. When done, stir chocolate. If necessary,
replace chocolate in microwave until melting is complete.
NEVER ADD COOL OR COLD LIQUID TO THE MELTED CHOCOLATE
IN THE FOUNTAIN, THIS WILL STOP THE FLOW.
Chocolate needs to be completely melted and of thin consistency to
allow proper flow. (Add more oil if necessary. Use large spoon to test
consistency by how the chocolate drips from the spoon, if too thick,
add oil).
Turn the heat switch ON. Let the unit warm up at least 3 - 5 minutes
beforeadding melted chocolate. Once unit is warmstartmotor by
turning the motor switch ON. Pour melted chocolate in to the Base
Bowl.

CREATING DOUBLE CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN EFFECT
Carefully pour the melted chocolate into one of the bowl compartments
at the base of the tower. The melted chocolate should be drawn under
the tower and carried up the tower by the auger. Chocolate should then
begin to flow from the top of the tower and filter over the sides evenly
to the next tier and so on. Repeat the above steps to the other side of
the bowl compartment with same or different flavored chocolate.
FOR LIQUOR FLAVORED CHOCOLATE
Enhance your presentation with Liquor Flavored Chocolate! Prior to
mixing the liquor with the chocolate, you can burn off the alcohol of
the liquor, if you chooose, by cooking it on the stove top. Bring the
liquor to a boil, the alcohol burns off, leaving only the flavor! Mix this
with your choice of chocolate before adding to the Chocolate Fountain
Double Tower.

Using a measuring cup, add 1/4 cup of liquor additive (moreor less,
depending on your taste).
NOTE
For best results, your chocolate needs to be 60% cocoa. Any higher
percentage will require you to add more vegetable oil to thin the
mixture. DO NOT ADD ANY COLD LIQUIDS TO FOUNTAIN DURING
OPERATION. This will cause your mixture to thicken and not flow
properly.

CLEANING
1. Make sure unit is unplugged before cleaning. Allow parts to COOL
to the touch. Tower, auger, and base can get VERY HOT.
2. Before first use and continuing after each use, be sure to wash the
tower and auger thoroughly. AVOID washing parts in the
dishwasher.
3. To make cleaning easier, carefully remove the tower and auger (after
cooling), wipe off remaining chocolate with paper towels. Soak in hot
water for 5 minutes, then wash in warmsoapy water, rinse and dry.
DO NOT POUR OUT EXCESS OR LEFTOVER CHOCOLATE DOWN
DRAIN OR IN TOILET. POUR IN PLASTIC BAG OR DISPOSABLE
CONTAINER THEN INTO GARBAGE.
4. Carefully pour out as much remaining chocolate from the base bowl
as you can. Use damp sponge or cloth to wipe clean the remainder
in the base bowl and along the outside of the unit. Wipe dry with a
non-abrasive towel.

Possible Cause: Blockage in the Basin Bowl by large pieces of
chocolate or dropped food parts; remove any solid
pieces from the basin bowl.

Possible Cause: Unit is not properly plugged in.

This KOOLATRON product is warranted to the retail consumer for 90 days from
date of retail purchase, against defects in material and workmanship.
